Everything You Thought was Solid is Shaking

We Need Prayer Rallies, not Protests

If you’re waiting for more insanity from the left as they take over our culture and make anti-white racism the norm, I have great news for you. They’re trying to get rid of the national anthem.

The justification? Francis Scott Key had a low opinion of black people, and he owned slaves.

The big problem with this is that a whole bunch of men who were major players in the building of America (and the rest of the world) owned slaves, and presumably, many were racists. In spite of their faults, they did a lot of wonderful things for us, including drafting the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. To purge them from our culture is to erase our history, and who likes to erase history? Who is famous for it? Satan. When you cut people off from their past, you cut them off from wisdom and from their identity. They don’t know who they are, and they don’t have any protection from things their ancestors were too smart to fall for. Once you isolate a country from its past, you can mold future generations and enslave them. Not just the black ones. All of them.

This is something we’ve seen in leftist regimes ever since they came into being. Socialists have a long history of declaring children the property of the state and whisking them off to be turned against their parents. It’s very big in Cuba, where kids have been encouraged to rat on their families for things like buying meat. Obama encouraged kids to rat on their parents, remember? No coincidence. He didn’t build that. It was a very old idea. Socialists in Europe actually trained kids to pray to Stalin and other socialist leaders, and they also played tricks on them to convince them praying to God didn’t work. Hitler indoctrinated kids. In the final days of his empire, he sent them out to be killed on the front lines.

When I was a kibbutz volunteer in Israel, I lived across the way from the beit zimmer. This was a special building for children. The kibbutz was started by deluded socialists, and they believed the kids belonged to the collective. They were supposed to live in the beit zimmer, away from their parents, where they could be indoctrinated. By the time I got there, the kibbutzniks had revolted and started keeping their kids at home, but the beit zimmer stood as a monument to their bad judgment.

Antichristians started their purge with Southerners. Now they’re extending it to white people in general. It will get worse. I wouldn’t be shocked if people were calling to raze churches, ban preaching, and ostracize Christians by the end of next year.

They’re going to tell us “brown people” built America while everyone else stood by and watched. Totally untrue, but they’ll say it. They’ll tell us every square inch of your land was stolen.

What if #Metoo purged Martin Luther King Jr. because he particpated in orgies and treated women like toys? What if Stonewall purged Obama because he used to stand against gay marriage? Why haven’t antichristians purged Kwanzaa over Ron Karenga’s overt racism? Why hasn’t Maya Angelou been purged over her racist comments about white men?

There is one standard for the left and another for the right. No group can survive the kind of scrutiny and condemnation we’re seeing now, so leftists are simply choosing to apply their standard unfairly.

The news about the attack on the national anthem should be a good thing, because it strikes at our hearts and wakes us up. We should use our shock as motivation to fast, pray, and repent as a nation. Of course, we’re not doing that. Where are the prayer rallies? Where are the huge online meetings? Where are the hashtags calling for self-humbling? Such things only exist on the fringe. They should be mainstream. Google results for prayer-related hashtags should dwarf those antichristians are using.

Only the Holy Spirit brings unity, and only unity brings peace. Christians will never have peace as long as we identify as different types of people. We have to identify as children of God, not Caucasians, Negroids, or Mongoloids. We have to see Christians of other physical races as our brothers and sisters, and we have to see people who look like us, yet who are against God, as outsiders and threats.

We reject the Holy Spirit, so we reject unity and peace. We listen to other spirits through our popular culture, and they take away our free will and our ability to lead. They make us followers. We’re supposed to stand up for God in a world that hates him. Instead, we cower and cringe and give our allegiance to the spirits that want to dethrone him. We appease. We get down on our knees like Colin Kaepernick. We lie on our bellies like George Floyd. We literally worship the people who are against us. How many people who do these things lie on their bellies before God on the days when they worship human beings and doomed, inferior, hateful spirits?

Satan has taught Christians that “worship” means music, but if you check the Greek and Hebrew, it really means to prostrate yourself or bow or make some type of physical gesture you should only make for God. Christians all over America are worshiping antichristians and the damned spirits they serve, and they don’t even know it.

It’s a big deal when you worship the wrong individual. Daniel chose to be thrown to the lions instead of worshiping a false god. It’s no joke. Mauling and death looked better to him. Mordecai refused to worship Haman, and the price was an edict calling for the extermination of all the Jews in the Persian empire. The Revelation says that anyone who declares that the Beast is God by accepting his mark will be damned, Christian or not. God respects our worship. If you choose another god, you will get it, and you will also get the consequences.

The Bible endorses slavery. It does. Christians deny it, but it’s true. The Pentateuch gives instructions for anyone who wants to become a slave. It’s not the same as, or as harsh as, the slavery gentiles have practiced, but it’s slavery. How long will it be before we are hammered with the notion that Christianity and Judaism are only for slave owners?

Of course, Islam will get a pass, because it’s not convenient to pit the Beast’s children against muslims right now. Never mind the fact that most black slaves were sold to Europeans by black muslim Africans.

The Bible said the Jews could take female prisoners in war as wives and have sex with them. Not the Talmud. Not a Pope. The Bible. The Bible said it was okay for single Benjamites to kidnap virgins to be their wives. Antichristians aren’t going to let those openings go unexploited forever.

The Bible says a woman should submit to her husband. It praises Sarah for calling Abraham “Lord.” According to Paul, God himself commanded that women not be allowed to speak in church. Christians twist this scripture because it makes them uncomfortable, but the meaning is clear. It’s not a suggestion. It’s a commandment. Antichristians will eventually figure this out, and what do you think they’ll do then?

You can’t have a form of godliness, deny the power of godliness, and retain dominance forever. You have to have the power and transformation of the Holy Spirit, which even most Christians deny. They reject tongues, miracles, prophesy, and so on. This is why we ended up ignorant and unarmed.

Christians who hear the Holy Spirit are siblings. They side with each other against everyone else. White Christians side with non-white Christians against white persecutors. The same goes for non-white Christians. If you don’t hear from the Holy Spirit, you don’t identify with the body of Christ. You identify with your earthly breed, as though you were a dog with AKC papers.

God gives people who don’t listen over to blindness and deafness. He did it to most of the Jews, as Isaiah says. He actually went beyond that; instead of merely allowing them to backslide, he sent someone to make it worse.

Isaiah was before God, and God asked whom he could send to the Jews. Isaiah said, “Send me.” Here is what God said:

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,

And the Lord have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

I’m going to be praying for America to turn back to the Holy Spirit every day. You should do the same thing. Who knows? Maybe God will pull us back from the brink for a few more decades. At the very least, you’ll be on the right side of the battle, and you won’t go to hell with the others.

Today it’s the national anthem. Tomorrow it will be something that hurts worse. The punishment will keep escalating. We probably can’t fix America, but we should pray anyway. Even if it doesn’t work, we can create little islands of peace for ourselves.

Fake News and Rebellion Make for a Bad Mix

June 25th, 2020

Where are the Prayer Campaigns?

I’m still trying to figure coronavirus out.

Case figures rose dramatically when the virus first got a foothold in the US. I said I thought the numbers would rise exponentially and then peak, and that’s what they did. I didn’t think there would be a second wave, because epidemics generally don’t work that way. I never saw a logical explanation why a second wave should occur. The disease was already here, it had hit whoever it could hit easily, and then it had declined. It wasn’t like a new group of susceptible people was going to materialize out of nowhere, and our behavior wasn’t likely to change much and produce new cases, so where would a second wave come from?

Now the figures are going up again.

I could just say I was wrong, but these are strange times. Nothing is what it seems. There are two camps in America: the anti-Trump, pro-panic camp, and the pro-Trump, anti-panic camp. The first camp has lied to us over and over in order to make Trump look bad, hoping to drive him out of the Oval Office. You would have to be a fool to take anything they say at face value, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be right about the second wave.

I think some medical professionals are calling it the continuation of the first wave. I have not seen anyone explain the difference between a second wave and the continuation of the first wave, however. I don’t know how they would look different.

Testing has skyrocketed, and the case figures have also skyrocketed. President Trump says the increase in the figures is the result of the increase in testing. That actually makes sense, because these things happened at the same time, and it would be impossible to increase testing without detecting more cases. On the other hand, it’s possible to have a genuine increase in the infection rate along with a fake bump caused by increased testing.

President Trump has ample reason to push the claim that the new numbers are the product of testing, not increased contagion, and as much as I love Donald Trump, I’m aware that he has a habit of talking first and checking the facts later.

Who is right? The huge percentage of America that has been turned into a coronavirus-hysteria propaganda machine, or the president who exaggerates his successes?

I see news articles about the current situation, and they’re full of claims that look deceptive to me. One article says 81% of Florida ICU beds are full. Here’s the obvious question: what percentage are normally full? I’ve been in ICU’s in normal times, and they have generally had few empty beds. Even if the epidemic is getting worse, only a tiny percentage of Americans have become ill, and even fewer have had to go to intensive care. The numbers still resemble flu numbers. So how can I believe Florida ICU’s are jammed up? It seems to me that the claim is meaningless and intentionally misleading.

It appeared in an article which took a negative and condescending tone toward President Trump, so that also reduces its credibility.

Many people think the disease has been here much longer than doctors are telling us. It was active in China in the fall, and Chinese people were flying to America during that time. If coronavirus is as contagious as the pro-hysteria people say, then Americans had to begin contracting it no later than November. If that’s so, then the disease is a lot more common than we used to think, and increased testing, especially when it reaches people with light symptoms, should generate a lot more positives than we’re used to.

The CDC is now saying 20 million people in the US may have been infected. How are we supposed to believe anything they say? I think they’re right, but they keep changing their minds.

A month or so ago, I could not get tested in Florida. I had no symptoms, and they didn’t allow asymptomatic people to be tested. As of a few weeks back, that changed. They decided to allow everyone to be tested. What would the natural result be? People who weren’t sick, yet who were still curious, would go in for testing, and you could see a higher positive rate. That’s what we’re seeing. The tests only caught active cases, so there was no point in me going.

Florida just had a huge case-number jump. Thousands in one day. They told us the numbers went up, but no one seems to be asking whether anything else happened the same week. Were new testing methods put in place? Did waves of new test kits arrive more or less simultaneously in many areas, allowing more testing? What is the rate of false positives? We aren’t being told.

Anti-Trumpers are blaming the removal of the lockdowns, which was supposed to occur regardless of what Trump wanted, and the implication is that we would have remained locked down but for the GOP. That’s absurd. The lockdowns were always intended to be temporary measures that would slow the epidemic without getting rid of it. This is what doctors, not Donald Trump, have told us. Let’s play the game anyway, though. If getting rid of lockdowns made infections jump, why didn’t weeks of protesting without social distancing have the same effect? Why did New York find that most new infections took place among people who were locked down? Why is it that confined populations, who should be immune, still make up something like half of the numbers?

One thing does surprise me. I’m surprised the warm weather didn’t bring us a sharp drop in cases. UV rays kill coronaviruses nearly instantly, and warm weather gets people out of confinement. We did see infections plummet in the spring, but even if the new numbers are grossly misleading, the bug is still here.

Covid is still hitting Hispanics, blacks, and American Indians much harder than everyone else. Can that have any conceivable cause that isn’t supernatural? They do what white people do, more or less. What natural reason is there for them to get sick more often?

The more I look at the epidemic, the more I feel that it hits leftists harder. It seems like a Biblical plague, because it appears to be targeted. Even in my county, where minorities are not all that abundant, they make up a very disproportionate number of the cases, and minorities other than Asians lean left.

I’m not sure what’s happening, but I don’t trust the hysterics at all. They have lied to us consistently for too long.

I bought my first masks today. That’s not completely true. I once had to buy a cheap mask in order to get into a gun show, and some friends of mine gave me a flowered mask that might look good on Caitlyn Jenner. Today I got some real cloth masks at Target. You can buy them these days. The hoarders stopped cleaning them out.

I didn’t buy them out of concern for myself. A cloth mask is just about worthless for self-protection. I bought them in case I get sick. They would provide a little protection for people around me. I think I had covid in the winter, but I may be wrong, and I could still get it. Maybe the epidemic really is getting worse in Florida. Might as well spend 10 bucks on preparation.

Almost no one seems to be promoting self-humbling, repentance, and prayer as remedies for coronavirus, shortages, and violence. It’s very sad. Our problems are obviously caused by rebellion and pride, but no one seems to know it.

America is a former Christian country, and there are still many Christians here. We should know that when a nation has problems like ours, it means something has messed up our relationship with God. In the Bible, when Israel had problems, there was always a reason involving God. They would fast and pray and ask God what was wrong, or a prophet would show up and tell them, and then they were able to alter their behavior and regain favor. That’s not happening in America right now. We act as if we’ve never seen the Bible.

Where are the preachers calling for a nationwide week of prayer and fasting? There are a few dimly heard appeals out there, but that’s about it. Shouldn’t prayer and humbling be our first responses, every single time? How can we not know that?

I don’t see how we can get past our mini-plagues without doing the right thing. Because we won’t admit fault and seek God’s face, I expect us to get worse and worse.

What Single Men do on Vacation

June 24th, 2020

More Data for the Gitmo Admissions Committee

I’m white, I’m male, I’m conservative, I’m a far-out Christian who speaks in tongues every day, and I shoot as a hobby. My blog has been banned secretly by the Department of Defense, as a hate site, for reasons that have never been revealed to me. What more can I add to my resume?

How about long-range rifle shooting? That ought to move me up a few spaces on several secret lists.

I’m getting ready for my first precision rifle shooting course. Right now, I’m more of a spray-and-giggle shooter. I take semiauto .22’s out to the berm and blast away at steel targets with humorous shapes. The course will have me shooting match .308 ammunition at 1000 yards.

I don’t know what more I can do to attract persecution. I should just send Joe Biden a letter requesting he have me disappeared the day after the inauguration. Assuming he gets inaugurated, which I don’t. I think leftists are scaring normal people to the polls.

If he gets elected, and he’s too busy to disappear me the day after the inauguration, Kamala Harris can always do it two days later, after she assumes command due to Biden’s dementia, which the press will suddenly discover.

You have to wonder how military people, who tend to be conservative, are going to feel when things go nuts and leftist regimes require them to guard conservative and Christian dissidents at Guantanamo and black sites while relatively liberal Deep State intelligence people torment them. They’ll probably end up guarding many of their friends.

I never really thought about the political contrast between the CIA and the military before.

The Deep State and its hostility toward conservatives are absolutely real. The more time passes, the more things happen that confirm that right-wing conspiracy nuts aren’t nuts at all. Not about the important things.

I am scheduled to take a class soon, and I’m trying to figure out what I need. The people who teach the class are not great at communication, and I have never been to a PRS (Precision Rifle Shooting) class before.

I had to get a couple of shooting bags. I’ve used a Rock Jr. rest and various bipods, but I have never shot off a bag. I chose the Armageddon Gear Game Changer front bag and the Armageddon Gear X-Wing rear bag. They arrived today. I put them on the dinner table and plopped the LR-308 onto them. Very nice. I see what I’ve been missing. They’re much more cooperative than rests and bipods, and the scope seems much more stable.

I realized my fancy tactical sling won’t work with the LR-308 until I get the right swivel for the handguard. I’ll probably have to cannibalize a sling from another gun, along with one swivel.

Today I bought a Gore-Tex rain jacket. It’s surprisingly hard to do this here. Gander Outdoors is gone, Dick’s Sporting Goods (spit) has nothing useful, Rural King doesn’t have Gore-Tex, and I didn’t even try the mall because it looked so bad the last time I was there. I found a nice jacket at Bass Pro, and it comes with a tiny bag. You can wad the entire jacket up and stuff it in the bag, and it takes up about as much room as a foot-long sub.

I like Gore-Tex. It’s likely to rain at the class, and it will definitely be hot, so I want something that keeps rain out and lets water vapor out. I don’t think evaporation will be all that helpful, but it has to be somewhat better than wearing a plastic jacket that doesn’t even try to release vapor.

I’m supposed to bring some tools. When they suggested that, they poked the wrong bear. I’m trying to whittle my choices down to things that will fit in one toolbox. I guess a cleaning kit, some Allen wrenches, and a can of One Shot should get me where I need to be.

They don’t provide lunch, and the food situation in the area is, well, there isn’t any. I have to figure out how to provide lunch for myself two days in a row.

I guess I should take a notebook. A real one, not a PC.

I looked at shooting glasses today at Bass Pro. The ones I have are cheap yellow plastic. I think they cost $14.99 at Gander Outdoors. I thought I should get something better. Bass Pro had Oakleys for $256. They looked exactly the same as the $14.99 ones. Am I missing something here? I decided I didn’t need new ones.

I want to take the bags out and pop off a few .223 rounds. The other day I shot 1 MOA at 50 yards using an uncooperative bipod and a plastic table with a railroad spring sitting on it to take out the bounce. If I can do that with terrible equipment, one would think I could shoot 1 MOA consistently with a good set of bags, even using the plastic table.

Maybe I’m going to be a good long-range shooter. That would be nice.

When I first started shooting at 100 yards with scopes, I refused to take my left hand off the guns. I was stubborn. I felt like a shooter who didn’t hold the gun with both hands was so uninvolved, it was almost unnecessary for him to be there.

I used bad ammunition, mostly, and I got something like 3 MOA. I now think most of the error was due to my efforts to delude myself. The more human being touches a gun, the worse it shoots at long distances. It’s just a fact. To shoot as well as possible, you should mount your gun in a vise and pull the trigger remotely. I think I wasted a ton of ammo trying to disprove something everyone else already knew.

This time, I’ll have a great trigger, match ammunition, a good rest, and good technique. Maybe things will go better.

Ammunition confuses me. On the one hand, people talk about the importance of accurate ammunition, and they say you need handloads to do well. On the other, I’ve got cheap ammunition in at least two calibers that will shoot 1 MOA, guaranteed. How can I reconcile these things? I’m starting to think I shouldn’t listen to people who criticize ammunition I haven’t tried. If you look on the web, you will see people shooting 1.5 MOA with Wolf, which is some of the cheapest ammunition available. If they can do that, maybe ammunition usually isn’t that critical.

Most people can’t shoot. This is a fact of life, and it’s probably caused by stubbornness and lack of training (unless I’m the only one those things affect). It doesn’t prevent them from shooting badly and then going to Internet forums and saying this or that ammunition is accurate or inaccurate. If you shoot 5 MOA on your best day, you’re not qualified to evaluate ammunition or anything else. I’m sure there are people out there telling others certain guns or ammunition are accurate when they really mean they don’t shoot them any worse than other things they shoot badly.

There’s a Youtube guy who does wonderful videos in which he loads .223 ammunition and does systematic experiments to see what shoots best. He has used many powders and bullets, and he bought a high-end barrel. His good loads shoot maybe 0.75 MOA, and his bad ones probably run 3 MOA. I have a bunch of cheap Fiocchi ammo which, I’m pretty sure, will do 1 MOA at 100 yards out of my non-precision AR-15 with the barrel it came with out of the factory. I have seen a guy shoot very tight groups at 200 yards with the same stuff. If Fiocchi will do all that for fifty cents per round, how can the Youtube guy not be wasting his time?

It’s puzzling, but it sure looks like 1) factory barrels on second-tier AR-15’s can shoot 1 MOA, so you don’t need to upgrade unless you’re extremely picky, and 2) there is no point at all in reloading .223.

If I can shoot 1 MOA, then I have the potential to put a bullet in a 3″ circle at 300 yards. That means I should be able to hit prairie dogs three football fields away, reliably. That’s awfully good accuracy, in a world where 4 MOA was very respectable 40 years ago. Will my life really change if I find a load that reduces the circle to 2″?

It’s great to think I can shoot very precisely with cheap ammunition, but it’s a bummer to think I may not be able to justify making my own .223 or .308 rounds. Or .204 Ruger. Dang it.

I found a brand of top-quality .223 rounds with temperature-stabilized powder (not a gimmick) and 55-grain polymer-tip bullets. This is essentially the same thing as a very popular defensive product called Hornady TAP Urban, which is considered a law enforcement product. The stuff I found is packaged in little plastic packets that should preserve it forever, and if I zero my scope at a certain temperature, I can shoot it at a different temperature with nearly no change in the point of impact.

The Hornady stuff, which has been discontinued, sells for 75 cents per round. The stuff I bought costs about 50 cents, and it’s better. I will never have any reason to buy Hornady, and it will be hard to justify buying .223 dies just to make 55-grain ammunition.

Why did I buy defensive .223 ammunition, if I don’t plan to use my rifle defensively? Because I didn’t get the ammunition for use against people. I got it for targets and coons and so on. It can also be used for pigs and deer. But you never know what the future will bring. Maybe I won’t use it, but I’ll end up giving it to someone who needs defensive ammo.

I don’t know whether the gun I’ll be shooting in class will hold 1 MOA, but I’ll bet it will. Other people have done it with this model. It will be funny if it works. I have no doubt at all that it will at least approach 1 MOA. If I can’t make it work, I can get a new barrel for $300.

I guess I should invest in a lunchbox. I don’t know what else I should take with me.

Next time I take a course like this, I’ll have a different rifle in a friendlier caliber that won’t beat me up. That will be nice. I’m not really sure what purpose a .308 serves in 2020.

The Joshua Anointing

June 23rd, 2020

Decide What You Stand On

For some time, God has been teaching me about the problems white people are having. He has shown me that we lost favor because we turned away from him. I’ve been thinking a lot about the problems associated with this change, but today he helped me see the opportunity it presents.

It’s natural to be concerned when you find that the group to which you belong is besieged and disempowered. People like me look around at 2020 America, not to mention the world, and we see we are standing on an island which is getting smaller and smaller as the water rises to drown us. Anti-white racism is red-hot, and it’s becoming white-hot. It’s not going away, and the people who are against us sincerely want to inflict terrible pain on us, as well as humiliation. They’re going to get what they want. Favor has left us.

While it’s reasonable and normal to be concerned about our future as a group, those of us who know God should be happy about the opportunity we now have. We can focus on building a holy family which destroys the barriers of race and nationality and includes brothers and sisters from every background.

Yesterday I got around to fixing my new audio Bible. I had been listening to a Zondervan Bible, but it wasn’t that great. The man who did most of the talking mispronounced things. It was clear Zondervan hadn’t spent much time preparing him. I downloaded a different dramatized KJV, and I turned it into MP3 files, but when I was done, my televisions couldn’t use the files. I had 1189 files in one folder, and the televisions refused to index them. I had to consolidate them into 66 files or one per book.

This morning, I got up and turned on the bedroom TV. Somehow I found myself listening to Joshua. I went to the living room to make breakfast. I turned on the living room TV, and I played Joshua in that room. I didn’t really think about the choice.

I was already prepared for Joshua, because earlier, during prayer, God had give me this word: “I am victorious because of you.”

The book of Joshua is a story of dominance and conquest. Moses led the Hebrews into Israel, but he didn’t enter the country. He died to the east of Israel, and his body was left there. God put Joshua in charge, and he told him to subdue the inhabitants of the land. Israel had been given to Abraham and his descendants, but others were squatting there, and they were idolaters.

The Hebrews fought people God told them to fight, when God told them to fight them. When they were in good standing with God, they defeated their enemies easily. When they displeased God, they were routed.

The Hebrews attacked a city called Ai. Scouts told Joshua it wasn’t necessary to send a big force. They said a few thousand would do, because Ai didn’t have many warriors. The Hebrews sent several thousand soldiers, and the inhabitants of Ai defeated them.

When Joshua complained to God, failing to ask what the Hebrews had done wrong, taking a victim attitude, God told him to get up and asked him why he was lying on his face. God said someone in the Hebrew ranks had taken something cursed in the conquest of Jericho. God had told the Hebrews not to take any treasure, but a man named Achan stole a Babylonian garment and some silver and gold and hid them in his tent.

God singled Achan out as the culprit, and the Hebrews stoned him and his family. They burned their bodies. Then the curse was lifted.

I don’t know what the significance of the gold, silver, and clothing was. Maybe the clothing was associated with demon worship, and its presence would have threatened the Hebrews with the spread of idolatry. Maybe there were pagan images on the silver and gold.

Once the transgression was dealt with, God resumed giving the Hebrews victory.

After the Jews rejected their Messiah, white gentiles were chiefly responsible for spreading the gospel. God gave them favor over peoples who worshiped evil spirits. They ended up ruling every major land mass except for South America, and even there, the dominant group was European, if not quite white. No one could stand before white people. They turned a huge part of the globe’s surface into Christian territory, and God was with them in spite of the fact that they, like the peoples they subdued, did considerable evil. The heathens were a good deal more cruel and bloodthirsty than whites were; no one seems to want to talk about that.

When whites in Europe rejected God, Europe’s favor diminished. The British were great missionaries, but England walked away from God, and the British empire was stripped away. People they used to dominate drove them out.

Here in America, too many whites have chosen godlessness. Now whites are off their pedestal, mobbed by groups to whom they thought they were superior. They credited themselves with their success, claiming they were smarter, harder-working, and so on, but in reality, brains and work will get you nowhere without God. Asians are smart, and they work harder than westerners, but Asia was inferior to the west until very recently.

Now the age of the gentiles, in which white people spread the gospel, is ending or over, and white people have lost their dominance. Those conservatives who are proud and godless think prepping and buying rifles and voting Republican will save them. They’re completely wrong. You can’t replace favor with work. One of the main purposes of favor is to show you how ineffective your plans and works are.

If you’re a white American, you can’t keep hanging onto the shield and weapons that seemed to work for you in the past, because they won’t work unless God is backing you up. The security you used to have because you belonged to the herd is disappearing.

The good news is that without the illusion of racial superiority, white people, and the rest of us, have an opportunity to find favor by aligning ourselves with the family of God.

We can’t turn the clock back and regain dominance as a group, and it’s not a desirable goal anyway. Our segment of the population is vulnerable as a whole, and that won’t change. What we, and everyone else, can do is to find favor as individuals. We should have been doing this in the first place.

If God favors you, it doesn’t matter which ethnic group you belong to. You will be dominant. I don’t mean you’ll be able to push people around. I mean you will be victorious when you’re attacked. You will have a lot of insulation from hostility. You will have provision when godless preppers and militia nuts lack.

One of the best things about seeking favor as an individual is that your status will transcend race and nationality. You may still be targeted by BLM and Antifa destroyers, but you will be united with Holy-Spirit-led people of every type. When you’re with family, race and nationality won’t matter. The anxiety and wariness will be gone. They will be replaced by love and trust.

There is no such thing as racial unity on a nationwide scale. We try to implement it, and we fail. We got rid of segregation laws, and minorities responded by segregating themselves. If you want to find someone who hates interracial marriage, go to any black or Asian neighborhood. Most white people don’t care about it. White people changed, but the rest of America wants no part of it. They want black colleges and Muslim neighborhoods with sharia patrols. They want La Raza and Mecha. They want non-white gangs. Young Asians excoriate girls who marry whites, saying they suffer from self-hate. They say whites who marry Asians have a fetish. Most non-white Americans don’t want unity, and many whites agree.

We can’t have unity as a nation, but you can have unity with the brothers and sisters God has given you, regardless of what they look like. Together, you can step back from the fray and watch the unenlightened tear at each other. You don’t have to let BLM and Antifa screen your friends.

The Bible is full of promises of help and favor, but somehow, Christians have decided they’re not intended seriously. We have cultivated the notion that a really good Christian lives on a sidewalk in a box and preaches love and kindness while people spit on him. The Bible says God gives us victory, healing, joy, peace, strong families, and prosperity. It says our enemies will flee before us. Who is right? God, or the people who preach defeat?

Favor is real, and the stronger the destroyers get, presumably, the more favor God will be willing to give his children. And surely he will want to unite Christians of different backgrounds in order to shame the destroyers and give the lie to their racist nonsense.

There is no black student union in heaven. There is no Italian social club. There are no whites-only golf courses. There is no yeshiva that doesn’t accept gentiles. Jeremiah Wright won’t have a black church in heaven. He’s probably going to hell. Segregating people according to the flesh is a Satanic notion. God unites people according to the Spirit, regardless of what their flesh looks like.

Man’s protection is falling away from me and every other white, male, Southern, Christian, Jewish, or heterosexual American. That’s fine, as long as I move into God’s protection. Man required me to compromise and tug the forelock. God gives favor along with dignity, with no self-betrayal.

People who take sides according to the flesh are going to get nowhere. The word says God will release a horseman to take peace from the earth, and he may already be here. You can’t fight that with earthly weapons. The only real peace is among God’s children.

If Joshua and Caleb throve while surrounded by enemies in superior numbers, so can you. God says he prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. He struck the gay rapists of Sodom blind so they couldn’t find the door to Lot’s house. When the rain lifted the Ark, not one pagan was able to break in.

Too many people are taking the wrong messages away from the successes of the destroyers. They’re becoming more carnal, not less. They are following the destroyers instead of standing up as leaders.

I’m glad God showed me the positive side of what has happened to America. I have felt a lot of grief over the spectacle, but in Christian thought, birth comes after death. I should have considered that. Most people will fail and be destroyed, but eventually, the people who are spared and delivered will make me and other Christians forget all about the lost and the pain they caused us.

Hack Reloader Succeeds Where Professionals Fail

I cracked the 10mm mystery.

A long time ago, I made 10mm ammo with Speer Gold Dot bullets and Accurate No.7 powder. When I checked it at the range, I got speeds over 1200 fps from a short-barreled Glock 26. I carried it for years. It was very good compared to the stuff most people carry.

Recently, I decided I needed more ammo. I did a lot of detective work to make up for my lack of good records, and I tried to reconstitute my old loads. At one point, I got good velocities (with 12.0 grains of No.7), and I decided to use the resulting recipe to make defensive rounds. Then I checked again, and I got low velocities. The primers were the same. The charge was the same. I never found out what the issue was.

I decided to do research, and I discovered BE-86 powder. It’s made for defensive use. It has a flash suppressant, so if you shoot a soy commando in your bedroom at night, it won’t mess your night vision up as much as other powders.

Of course, there were no published loads for Speer 180-grain Gold Dots and BE-86, so I started with a recipe for a different 180-grain hollowpoint. The published load was for 8.2 grains. It was a maximum. I backed down to 7.8, figuring this was a good margin for safety. That was incorrect. I have since learned that you’re supposed to go down 10% from a maximum load. It worked, however.

A few days back, I shot some rounds made with 7.8 grains of BE-86, and I got velocities that were not satisfactory. The average was 1086. That sounds more like .40 S&W, which is what you buy a 10mm to get away from.

Yesterday, I made rounds with 8.0 grains, and today, I shot them. Or so I thought. I actually picked up the wrong magazine. I was shooting my old tried-and-true No.7 rounds from a decade ago. The came in at almost exactly 1190 fps, which is acceptable. The spread was almost nonexistent, at 6 fps.

It’s bad that I shot ammo I wanted to keep, but it’s good that I shot old ammo right behind new ammo. When I shot the new ammo, I had a very fresh memory of the way the gun felt with No.7. With BE-86, the recoil was much sweeter. Sort of like .45 ACP. With No.7, the recoil was sharp and snappy.

Even though the rounds were nicer to shoot, the velocity was no lower. The average was 1189 fps, with a spread of 3 fps.

I was hoping for 1200, so 1190 is very good. Bullets go slower out of short barrels, and I was using a short barrel. I would prefer 1250 fps, but if I load for that velocity in the Glock 29, I may hit 1300 in the Glock 20, which has a longer barrel. I’ve seen complaints about the way the Speer Gold Dot performs at 1300.

I got very good velocity, pleasant recoil, an extremely tight spread for 6 shots, and a suppressed flash. I think BE-86 is the answer.

I guess it pays to experiment. No one else uses this load. All the published alternatives were inferior. They lacked flash suppressant. Some were harsh. Some were slow. Some couldn’t produce velocity without creating too much pressure. My recipe is better than anything out there.

I can’t see any pressure signs on the casings. I guess I’m good to go. I’m tempted to try for another 50 fps, but I may be better off right where I am.

I keep good records now. I act like a scientist. I record things that don’t even seem important. If I need to revisit this ammo 10 years from now, I’ll be ready.

Now I can crank out some ammo and move on from 10mm to something else.

Antichristian Pleasure Domes Showing Cracks

June 22nd, 2020

Joss Whedon Should Write Them a new Narrative

On Saturday night, in a section of Minneapolis, multiple shooters opened fire, wounding 11 people and killing one. The City Council has called for the disbanding of the police department, yet somehow, the police have been called to investigate the shooting. Multiple witnesses were present, and they talked to the press. Oddly, the articles about the shooting do not provide physical descriptions of the shooters.

The dead man is black. There are black people in the few photos that have been published. If the shooters are white, it’s quite remarkable that the press hasn’t told us. Journalists are pretty conscientious about promoting stories of white-on-black violence, rare though it is.

In Seattle, in the criminal-occupied zone at least one Youtuber is referring to as “Soymalia” and “Wokeanda,” a 19-year-old man has been shot to death. We have seen armed criminals roaming the streets, functioning as the official security team for the area. Haven’t seen law-abiding citizens doing that. In fact, it’s impossible to see a law-abiding citizen doing that, because open carry is illegal in Washington.

Wonder who shot the young man.

For a while, I’ve been pointing out that the Seattle goon squad is now the area’s police. So this shooting appears to have been police brutality. Committed in a zone where the occupants had convinced themselves freedom from police was the solution to the brutality problem. And they called the real police when the shooting took place.

Does anyone see anything wrong with this picture?

You throw your police force out because of occasional occurrences of police brutality. Then you declare your area police-free. Then you form your own police squad which has no oversight or training, and it commits a murder right off the bat, in addition to other acts of violence that have been filmed. Then you ask the real cops to come in and investigate.

I guess it’s better than holding a lynching, hypocrisy notwithstanding.

Here’s how much sympathy I feel for the residents of Minneapolis and Seattle: none whatsoever.

Is that a sound Christian position? Yes, it is. One of the fascinating things about Christianity is the way it separates people. It unites people who are led by the Holy Spirit, regardless of their races and so on. On the other hand, it separates us from belligerent, rebellious people who can’t be helped. We’re supposed to show them patience up to a point, and then we’re supposed to let them go and stop thinking about them.

When Lot was delivered from Sodom, he wasn’t just told to leave. He was told not to look back.

The people of Seattle and Minneapolis voted for this situation many times. They thought leftist rebellion was cute and stylish. They knew better; nearly everyone knows better. Now their foolishness and hypocrisy are biting them in the rear end, and still, many of them are defending their stupid actions. To feel sympathy for them is to have more concern for them than they have shown for themselves.

What about the Christians who are trapped in these areas? No sympathy. No one who has been listening to God has been trapped anywhere. If you had listened, you would have left. Or God has allowed you to remain there for a reason, and he has also provided an escape route you will take before long.

Discussing the day of his return, Jesus told parable of the 10 virgins;

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

“Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

“‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

“Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

“But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”

That’s what’s happening now. If you’re in the wrong place, and you think God put you there, you don’t have oil. In the Bible, oil represents the presence of the Holy Spirit. He guides and teaches us.

The wedding banquet is a real event, and it will take place in heaven during the rapture. You will notice the parable mentions 10 women but only one groom. The groom is Jesus, and we are the virgins.

People who don’t believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit, or who insist they received it automatically when they accepted Jesus, are going to be running around looking for oil after the doors have closed in front of them.

What happens in Seattle and Minneapolis, to people who continue to reject God and who don’t listen, isn’t my concern. They’ve made their choice. They’re not part of my world. I can observe their distress and learn from it, but I’m not supposed to get involved with it. There are better uses for my time. It’s hard to imagine a worse use. I would accomplish nothing at all, and Satan would squander my potential while I chased idiots. Jobs God wanted me to do would go undone.

People end up where they belong. They choose. Some people belong with God, and others belong in hell. It wasn’t created for them, but they select it. It’s pointless.

I was just interrupted by a call from a black friend. We spent a few minutes laughing at the riot nuts.

Is it wrong to laugh? It’s hard not to. You try to have a cheery outlook.

I guess I should stop now. I just received a big ammo shipment, and I have to test some new 10mm rounds I made yesterday. Maybe it’s good that I blog about my firearms. When the kooks decide to target me, they won’t take me seriously when I say I don’t want to hurt anyone. They will probably be deterred for quite a while. They talk a big game, but the very thought of forceful resistance turns their black Antifa outfits yellow.

BOO! I’m dangerous! No, seriously!

I’m getting ready to take my first precision rifle course, so that ought to boost my cred.

Anything that buys me time and peace is okay by me.

Trump Rallies no Longer Permitted to Exist?

The MSM is beside itself. President Donald Trump had a rally in Oklahoma, and attendance was poor.

To read the MSM sites, you would think America had abandoned Donald Trump. But is that true? The surge of racist, envy-driven rioting has awakened a lot of people. So did coronavirus, which, oddly, sent huge numbers of Americans to gun shops to buy their first firearms. Republican voter registration is up. The Trump economy is still good. These are things that ought to make it hard for Democrats to get elected.

Is the surge in Republican registrations real, though? Some say Democrats with no integrity are registering as Republicans in order to weaken the party from within.

It makes sense. Republicans will not reciprocate, because they are less enthusiastic about lying and spying. You can see this in our nonexistent response to the left’s habit of attending conservative events. BLMtifers show up at conservative events to riot and disrupt. When leftists have their own events, we generally avoid them.

According to a well-known former Republican, the reason Trump’s rally didn’t do well is that leftist liars took a large number of tickets fraudulently. Left-leaner Steve Schmidt, who worked as a strategist for people like McCain and Schwarzenegger, brags that his daughter and her friends have hundreds of tickets. Legislator and former bartendress Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez also bragged about the fraud and said she was proud of the people who had done it.

It’s a sickening moment. People who hate Trump are too stupid and immature to understand that subverting democracy is a great evil.

Some time ago, I predicted that America would one day be ruled not by Democrats or Republicans but by people with smartphones. I said technology’s ability to coordinate people was getting so strong, we would reach a point where elections and laws would lose their power. Everyone can’t be in the police or the national guard. It’s impossible to control Americans when a sufficient number of them are united in real time by gadgets. It looks like we’ve just seen a big step toward true technocracy administered by complete idiots. The Beast is discovering his hands.

We seem to be looking at a future in which mobs will be mobilized much too quickly for the government to react. It will be facilitated by a cyberspace infrastructure we all subsidize willingly through wireless and Internet fees. It’s as though the technocratic government already has a taxation system, and we’re all paying.

The law doesn’t matter, and fairness certainly doesn’t. Justice is one of the main things leftists hate. As the electronically coordinated Beast becomes more aware of its power and better able to direct it, anyone who disagrees with its infantile doctrine will be in danger of deletion. They call what they’re doing “canceling,” but that’s just bad English from people who aren’t bright. Cancellation only applies to events. It’s really deletion. They want to remove our voices, our power, our wealth, and all traces of our existence from the earth. Why do you think they pull statues down? A statue is evidence that a person lived.

If Jesus delays his coming long enough, electronic government will happen. It’s inevitable. Conservatives, Christians, whites, Jews, and Asians from China, Korea, and Japan will have to wall themselves inside enclaves in order to survive. No one who disagrees with the Beast will be safe in the general population.

They’ll be able to touch us anywhere. They’ll be able to mob-assassinate individuals they don’t like. If you blog from a cabin in Idaho, they will be able to converge on your property, pull you out of your house, and torture you to death for Facebook. The government won’t be able to help you. They won’t see it coming, and they won’t have the manpower.

We’ve already seen how our government handles riots. In some cases, they break things up, but in many cities, they have chosen to retreat instead. They don’t do that out of principle. They do it because they have no choice. The rioters are stronger than the police and the National Guard.

In the future, we’ll see riots directed at individuals, far from cities. It will be like the torches-and-pitchforks scene in Frankenstein. The police will let the rioters kill, just as they do when rioters attack groups.

According to Jewish legend, mob crime was one of the things God hated about Sodom and Gomorrah. There is evidence of this in the Bible. When the angels visited Lot, a gay mob showed up and insisted on having the angels released to them so they could rape them all night. Jewish legend says the Sodomites ruined visiting merchants by showing up in mobs. Each person would take one item, so no individual committed a crime that, in and of itself, was serious. The effects on the victims were worse than grand theft.

Maybe God burned the Sodomites alive partly to prevent mobs from understanding their power. Maybe he didn’t want their knowledge to spread.

God deleted the Sodomites, leaving only a few survivors. Now their spiritual descendants want to delete the Jews, God’s children, and anyone who succeeds in amassing wealth. It’s like I’ve been saying for a long time: the story of creation is a story of genocidal war.

Control over commerce has moved into the cyber realm. The Bible says the Beast will prevent God’s children from buying and selling. The more stores we lose, and the more we buy through cyberspace, the closer we get to the day when it will be possible to exclude people from commerce arbitrarily and without legal repercussions. Even if we move to insular communities and somehow manage to protect ourselves for a while, how will we get things like oil and electricity? How will we repair the things we have? If we rely on generators, how will we get parts for them?

If we want to defend ourselves, how will we get bullets, brass, and smokeless powder? Those things don’t just jump out of the ground on prepper farms. They have to be shipped from areas the Beast will control.

The Beast is somewhat like Thanos, the villain in the recent Avenger movies. Thanos felt that half of the universe’s population need to disappear. He thought overpopulation was an existential threat, which is an odd thing to believe in a universe which appears to be infinite in size. His answer was to create a jeweled gauntlet that allowed him to snap his fingers and make them vanish. Marvel’s writers didn’t say how he expected to prevent the population from rebounding, which is a little ridiculous, but never mind that.

The left–the Beast–sees people like me the way a body sees viruses. They want us gone, permanently. They truly believe utopia is possible but for the presence and influence of people like me. They want to snap their fingers and delete us. The Beast just snapped his fingers in Tulsa.

Even if we have a temporary recovery from our insanity, the Beast will eventually get what he wants. It’s foolish to argue with prophesy. It’s absurd to try to prevent it from coming to pass.

I have the feeling that something that kept the world going has been taken away. It’s as though humanity had been shot with a poisoned arrow, and I’m watching it die. It doesn’t know it has been killed, but death is spreading through the body the way hemlock slowly extinguished Socrates.

All over the US, tattooed brats are celebrating their own doom.

I have a feeling similar to the feeling you get when you know you’re going to dump your girlfriend. You’re both smiling, she thinks things are fine, and you still spend time together, but you know it’s over, and you look forward to live without her. A lot of people think God is still doing everything he used to do to keep the world running, but I think he stopped a while ago. I think the world has been jilted.

I feel myself mourning. Not for me. For a country that should have had a better end, and for arrogant young boneheads who are sowing agony and eternal damnation into their own endless futures. I also feel bad for weak Christians who appease and compromise, thinking nothing has changed. They think people who see the end coming are cranks. They’re going to get a lot of nasty surprises.

I think people who are truly close to God will have great favor in the coming days. I think many of us will do well regardless of the Beast’s deletion campaign, and the favor God gives us will be used to heighten leftist hatred. It will drive people to sharpen knives and dream of plunging them into us. If you have toilet paper, good food, and a nice house, you will be a greedy Jew who fattened himself on Germany’s Weimar misery and then celebrated Pesach with matzohs made with the blood of Gentile babies. You will be a privileged white who wallows in money generated by the suffering of black slaves. You will be a Romanov who moved from palace to palace, drinking the blood of serfs.

You’ll be everyone the Beast’s slandering children can blame for their own self-inflicted unhappiness and failure. You’ll be whatever figure of fantasy they can conjure up.

Maybe I should get rid of my guns. I don’t plan to use them defensively. I study the subject, and I prepare for it by buying appropriate weapons and making good ammunition, but those are just intellectual exercises. It’s a hobby. I don’t want to hole up behind sandbags and shoot flash mob assassins. It would make me more like them, and it could keep me here with them a lot longer. It would increase my entanglement with them.

I can understand why Jesus and Paul didn’t resist the people who killed them. Think how tired they were, after dealing with human beings for so long. If you fight the Beast’s kids, you may prolong your exposure to them unnecessarily and delay your escape to heaven.

If I have guns, I might defend myself reflexively instead of accepting a welcome transfer to a better place.

I’ll keep them while I can. I enjoy shooting. As far as I can tell, God wants me to have them.

I don’t want to be here when they come for the guns or when they start imprisoning and killing us. I don’t want the pain of watching the end. I don’t want to see the pierced and the stained, hooting and dancing as they perpetrate atrocities on defenseless people who are better than they are. There is nothing I can do about it, though. I can’t leave the earth. I can only wait to be taken.

I wish I could do more before I go. I tried to get involved in ministry starting in around 2007, but I was rejected and back-burnered over and over. Churches and movements are crooked. They can tell if you’re going to mess things up for them. If you’re honest about greed and lies, or if you talk about the need for inner change, you’re the enemy. Satan runs churches just as he rules Antifa and Planned Parenthood.

If you’re tired of people bothering you and trying to involve you in things, start telling the truth. You’ll be unpopular in no time. I speak from experience.

Maybe I’ll still be used to get something done. For all I know, I may have to remain on earth for 30 more years. I would like to see people get physical healing miracles through me. I would like to see people delivered from compulsions and delusions. I would like to see them grow up and become one with God. Maybe I made these things impossible through my own bad behavior.

If Trump wins and we get a brief reprieve, it will have to be because God stood up for us and defeated the Beast. We just don’t have the earthly tools to beat his benighted flock.

At my Own Disposal

June 20th, 2020

Why Can’t Instructions be Honest?

Here is a question I would like answered. Why is it that every job that involves tools takes 4 times as long as it’s supposed to and requires at least one unexpected weekend trip to a store?

Today I decided it was time to deal with my garbage disposal. It was leaking under my sink. I don’t like working in cramped spaces, so I had been putting it off.

I ran water through it to find out where the leaked water was coming from. It would have been very nice had it been a loose hose clamp or a problem with the joint where waste water leaves the machine. No, neither option was in the cards. There was a leak between the motor and the body of the machine.

Replace the gasket, right? Guess what InSinkErator (50 cents says that really means “Whirlpool”) did to me? They put Torx bolts on the motor. Tamper-proof bolts, to make sure people who pay good money for appliances don’t “tamper” with them by trying to fix them.

Unfortunately, it worked. I pictured myself waiting 10 days for a gasket and a set of female Torx wrenches (which I plan to get anyway) while water continued dripping into my cabinet. I couldn’t stand the thought. I bought a new machine.

My old disposal was apparently the cheapest type available. They sell for under $85. It had a 1/2-horsepower motor. It had a short warranty.

I think it was made for trophy wives who only cook when they want jewelry.

I Googled around, and I saw they made a tougher model with a 3/4-horsepower motor. Done deal. Before I went to get it, I made sure it would mate up with all the stuff the old one was attached to. “No problem!”, the anonymous online liars said.

My old one came with a cord, and the new one didn’t. I didn’t think that mattered, because I could use the old cord.

I bought plumber’s putty even though I probably already had it. I can never remember whether I have plumber’s putty, so I always buy a new can. It’s better than taking a chance and having to drive back to the store.

I got home and looked at the instructions. First, you use the little disposal crank to turn a ring that holds the disposal against the parts that mate to the sink. In the instructions, there is a cartoon of a lady’s hand, whisking the wrench to the left without breaking a nail.

“Child’s play,” I thought.

I put the wrench in the metal loop in the ring and yanked. Nothing happened, unless you count the ring bending. I put two wrenches in two loops. No joy. I beat the rings with a hammer to knock the rust loose. No movement whatsoever. I even tried a cold chisel.

That’s when I went and got the sawzall.

Using a demo blade, I cut the disposal in half below the sink. This took about 30 seconds. They should draw a cartoon about it for the manual.

Now I had full access to the ring. I could really pull on it. Guess what happened? It made the flange spin in the sink. They appeared to be mated for eternity. I saw a huge cake of rust uniting the ring and the thing it was screwed into.

Using the demo blade, I cut the ring in half. Then I yanked on it again, figuring there was no way it could resist. No; sorry. I had to cut it in three places.

I was sweating even though the air conditioning was set at 74. Why do I always sweat during these jobs? I can’t figure it out. I wasn’t exerting myself, and the air was cool. This always happens. I got up and picked a setting in the 60’s.

I would say I was now two hours into what was supposed to be a half-hour job. My guess is that in 95% of the cases, it is literally impossible to do what the directions say to do. I didn’t invent rust. Other people have the same problem. I guarantee it.

When I was done, I was supposed to use a flat-bladed screwdriver to pry out a snap ring that went around the sink flange and held some of the parts in place. First of all, there was absolutely no way to get at it, and second, a screwdriver wouldn’t have fit between the ends of the ring. The manufacturer has to know this.

Solution: use a Fein Multi-master oscillating tool with a metal saw to cut through the remaining rings including the snap ring. I tried the sawzall, but the blade couldn’t cope with the unnecessarily hard Chinese steel. Much later, the Fein tool made it through the ring, and the parts fell out.

I decided to install the cord. I cut it out of the old machine and got the wires ready. I found some butt connectors and wire nuts. Then I read the instructions. I was supposed to insert a 1/2″ wire clamp into a hole in the disposal for strain relief. A wire clamp…”not included.”

Okay, who makes a garbage disposal that requires you to add a cord and does NOT include strain relief? This is something that would cost the manufacturer maybe 20 cents. They include like 15 parts you need to install this thing, and then they leave out the cheapest one.

Back to the store.

Got the wiring done, installed the flange in the sink, installed the disposal but for the waste pipe, and found that because the disposal, which supposedly mated up to installations for other models, was too fat to work with the existing waste pipe and sink flange. The pipe was too long. It pushed the disposal off to the right, making it impossible to tighten the ring that mated it to the sink. I had to pull the pipe out, cut 3/8″ off with the Multi-master, and reinstall it.

Look, if you buy one of these things, I’ll give you the real instructions.

1. Get a long carbide demo blade or metal-cutting blade for your sawzall.

2. Ignore the nonsense about turning the ring that holds the disposal up. Cut the disposal in two with the sawzall, and then insert the sawzall blade into the hole and slice the ring that holds the remains of the disposal against the other hardware. Don’t cut it once. Cut it in at least two places. Then pry it off and fling it into a ditch.

3. Cut the remaining ring and spring with the sawzall. Don’t even bother trying to open the ring. You can’t. I recommend an oscillating tool with the hardest blade you can find as a backup.

4. Have something handy for shortening the waste pipe. Alternatively, have extra pipe in case the old pipe is too short.

5. Always buy plumber’s putty.

You should read the installation instructions online before you buy the disposal so you can find out which essential parts are not included.

There. I just turned a half-hour job which is really a 5-hour job into a 3-hour job.

The bigger disposal looks like a good choice. It’s quieter and smoother than the old one, it has a longer warranty, it should crunch harder garbage, and the construction looks a lot better. It looks like it will be a lot harder to cut in two with a sawzall, however, so I hope I’m not here when it fails, because I can’t even guess how I’ll get it out.

A smart person would go under the sink once a month and turn the ring that attaches the disposal to the flange. This would keep it from seizing. I considered putting anti-seize on it. Maybe I’ll still do that.

The evolution of the garbage disposal, clearly, is not finished. Supplying these things with rings that seize and which are not strong enough to stand up to your efforts to turn them is not a sign of brilliance.

I’m trying not to think about the oven and the awful faucet. The oven trips its thermal fuse when I use the cleaning cycle, and the faucet is just plain bad. I don’t want to buy an oven because they’re very expensive, and the faucet will require working in a cramped space.

Anyway, the garbage problem is licked. On to the next battle.

Republican Coronavirus Privilege

June 19th, 2020

Somehow, Racism Must be at the Bottom of It

CORRECTION AT BOTTOM.

Yesterday a cousin I barely know sent me a text to check on me. I believe she lives in Arizona. She said she and her husband had been helping Navajos. She said the epidemic had hit Navajos harder than other people.

That got me thinking. I already knew blacks were getting hit badly, and we all know older people in homes are more likely to be infected . People in homes represent something like 25% of all covid-related deaths. Today I learned that Latins and prisoners were also at higher risk. Now I’m learning that American Indians get infected more often. It’s not just Navajos. What’s the explanation?

The CDC, predictably, says racism explains the rate among blacks. That was easy, wasn’t it?

Lower incomes? The cause must be racism. More heart disease? Racism. Sickle cell anemia? Definitely racism. When the race card is in their hand, liberals don’t even look at the other cards.

Racism isn’t making people sick. When the CDC blames racism, it’s making a self-serving wild guess that also helps it virtue-signal.

If a certain group gets inferior healthcare, it should result in more deaths, not more infections. It wouldn’t make people more likely to be infected, but it would make them less likely to get adequate care once they were ill.

I can see why prisoners and residents of homes get infected. A home is just a prison for old people. Both types of facilities confine people on whom society places a low value. We put them in small spaces, and we don’t really try to keep them safe, because we don’t care about them. It should have been expected.

Minorities are different. They’re not confined together. Why are they getting sick?

I just read a story in which an official claims to have come up with the reason: racism. That surprised me. Okay, it didn’t. She says many Navajos don’t have running water or electricity, and the government has let them down by failing to provide good healthcare. But isn’t medical care what helps people who are already sick? I have never seen any source of information that suggested healthcare providers could slow the transmission of covid. On the contrary, they put that burden entirely on the public. Don’t leave your house. Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Doctors and nurses can’t help you do those things.

It’s as though supernatural forces had chosen to focus on certain nations and groups. I wonder if that’s the case.

If the disease were somehow being directed toward enemies of God, you would expect it to hit leftists harder. That has actually happened here in America. The Northeast has an extremely high disease rate. Liberal cities across America have high rates of infection. San Francisco is a notable exception, but California itself has a high rate. Hawaii hasn’t been hit hard by the virus, but it has been slammed economically because a quarantine order cut off money from the state’s major industry: tourism.

Blacks and Latins tend to be liberal. American Indians depend heavily on government assistance and generally support Democrats.

I can’t find information on infection rates among gays. Either it doesn’t exist, or it’s being concealed. They are overwhelmingly liberal, and they have an abysmal record of containing infections. They still have epidemics of venereal diseases the rest of us rarely contract.

American Jews tend to be atheists and supporters of Israel’s enemies. They have a high infection rate. This is true even of Orthodox Jews, who are more supportive of Israel. Israel itself has a low infection rate.

Republicans are more likely than leftists to be friends of God, and a May article from Reuters said the coronavirus rate in Democrat-controlled areas was triple the rate in conservative areas. Triple!

Remember how Democrats made fun of conservative counties in Florida when hurricanes came through? They said it was God’s punishment for voting for Bush. They distributed silly memes which distorted the truth, making it look like the storms were heavily concentrated in conservative areas. In fact, liberal areas got hit, too. Could it be that God is making his response?

In 2012, leftist extremist Antonio Villaraigosa presided over a voice vote at the Democratic Convention, supposedly after Barack Obama forced the issue. The Democrats had removed “God” from the text of their platform, along with text acknowledging Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The delegates voted on restoring this language. They voted several times, clearly in the negative. Villaraigosa looked at other leaders for help, knowing he was in a pickle. Then he lied and said the motion had passed, and he was booed loudly. Is God thinking about that now?

In the Revelation, after releasing a horseman to conquer the earth for Jesus, God releases three other horsemen to torment the earth. The first horseman is disease, and the second is lack. When the second horseman is released, a voice says, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wage’s, and do not harm the oil and the wine.” The third horseman is murder. Like a lot of people, I have said he represents war, but that’s not what the Revelation says. It says he takes peace from the earth and makes people kill each other. That’s not necessarily war. Look at the BLMtifa riots.

We saw coronavirus, which is a disease, and then we saw lack. Now, with the riots, we are seeing an end to domestic peace. These things took place in the same order in which the horsemen were released.

The next thing the Revelation predicts for the earth is the fall of the stars of heaven. They will fall on the earth like untimely figs.

Stars are great spirits. Is God about to release powerful spirits on the earth to punish mankind?

The Revelation says 4 spirits will be ordered to prevent the wind from blowing on the earth, and before the real destruction starts, the people of God will be sealed in their foreheads.

It’s confusing. The story about the horsemen and ensuing disasters seems to describe things that can’t happen until the rapture has taken place. It speaks of people who have come to heaven through the tribulation, which is a post-rapture event.

Maybe what we’re seeing now is a little picture of that time. A preview. Maybe we will see something that looks like the tribulation, except that it will be relatively mild.

I’m very confident the tribulation can’t come before the rapture. God removed Noah’s family before the flood, and he removed Lot from Sodom. He separated the Hebrews from Egypt and protected them from the plagues. I don’t see why he would show us that pattern over and over and then abandon it.

If we’re seeing a preview, maybe we should expect violence and the cancel culture to rage for a while and then subside somewhat so people can repent and prepare.

Then, of course, it would all come back, except it would be worse, and it would not subside. It would just lead into things that were more unpleasant.

If God is involved in what’s happening, why is San Francisco doing so well? It’s an extremely vile place. It also has strong ties to China, and many sick people must have flown from San Francisco since the epidemic began.

When the USA was making plans to drop the atom bomb, our leaders spared certain cities from conventional bombing. They spared Hiroshima because they wanted a clean target for nuclear weapons. They wanted to be able to distinguish Little Boy’s effects from those of ordinary bombs. I wonder if San Francisco is being set up.

I don’t know what’s happening. I’m just trying to perceive the pattern.

I think Revelation’s admonition not to harm the oil and the wine is about God’s plan to protect people who belong to him. Oil represents the Holy Spirit, and wine represents the blood of Jesus, which confers salvation. Maybe people who are really on God’s side are receiving protection.

Why wouldn’t God protect old people from covid? Maybe old people who don’t belong to him are dying. Or maybe he’s sparing them the ordeal of being elderly and helpless during the tribulation. The antichrist’s people venerate the young and excoriate the old. They have no respect for the wisdom of older people, and they blame them for the world’s problems. Who knows what they’ll do to older people when God’s hand isn’t here to restrain them?

We’ve already seen them mistreating the elderly in videos from the riots.

It makes sense that prisoners wouldn’t do well in a world facing God’s wrath. Prisons house the worst, least godly people in society.

The other day while I was in prayer, I felt he said, “I will surround you like a shield.” I hope so. He has done that so far. I hope other people will get as close to him as they can and avoid the pain of his anger.

CORRECTION

I made a strange error in this post. Somehow, I got the order of the horsemen of the apocalypse mixed up. It goes like this: conquest, violence, lack, and death.

I thought the last three horsemen were death (disease and so on), lack, and violence, in that order. We have had a pandemic, shortages, and riots. I thought it might mean something that the same things were taking place in the same order.

Of course, we had a bunch of BLM and Antifa riots before the current wave of opportunistic crime by filthy criminals masquerading as activists, but I don’t recall any shortages.

It’s strange that I got this wrong, because it was right in front of me.

The Tide is Rising

Get in the Ark

I’m so tired of being lectured and told I have to fight racism. I completely understand why duped, hateful BLMtifa protestors would be excited about what they’re doing, but I’m getting micro-lectures from companies I pay for goods and services. That’s idiotic and presumptuous, and it’s not good business.

I bought an Amazon Kindle because it was time to admit that the Asus tablet I had bought years earlier was a terrible product and of little use. After the rioting started, I started seeing messages about BLM when I turned my tablet on.

I have Amazon Prime because there is really no other way to shop now. All restaurants aren’t Taco Bell yet, but most stores are Amazon or Ebay. I made a rare decision to watch a movie a few days back, and Amazon Prime filled my screen with a bunch of ads for horrible movies about black victimhood. I’ve already seen A Raisin in the Sun and Imitation of Life, Bezos. I don’t need you telling me I need to be reeducated. What if I forced Jeff Bezos to look at ads for Christian movies every time I bought a product?

Over the last few days, I’ve come to a very mature realization that I now live in a mental ward. A huge percentage of Americans are literally insane. Reason never meant as much to Americans as they pretended; it was something they resorted to when emotion and lusts didn’t work. Now it means nearly nothing.

I love Youtube because I have so many interests. Whether I feel like learning about rifles, welding, complex analysis, engineering statics, quantum mechanics, electronics, cooking, God, or nearly anything else, Youtube can provide me with useful input.

Sometimes I see people talking about the riots and the PC insanity. They try to correct people. Maybe I’m doing the same thing now. For example, they may say we should focus on the enormous, astounding, perennial problem of black homicide while we’re thinking about helpful reform. They may point out obvious things such as the terrible cost of rioting. They may propose solutions such as buying guns and making public shows of force in order to protect their towns. The sad thing is that all these effort to provide information are based on a faulty premise, which is that people listen to reason.

Americans are insane now. You can’t cure a crazy person by arguing with him. He lives in a false reality where logic is optional or where his corrupt imitation of logic leads him to ridiculous conclusions.

Spirits work in everyone. The Holy Spirit works in a small percentage of human beings, and evil spirits work in just about everyone. Spirits shape our feelings and thoughts. Evil spirits are like their leader, Satan. They are liars. A lie is something that conflicts with reason. Reason always leads to truth.

The Bible plainly says that God gives people over to evil influences when they rebel long enough. The New Testament says this is an explanation for homosexuality, which is an inherently absurd practice. If you were a farmer, and you had a rooster that only had sex with other roosters, you wouldn’t paint a rainbow on the henhouse and adopt chicks for him. You’d know something was seriously wrong. Somehow, though, human beings are able to look at two men who engage in ludicrous parodies of normal sex and conclude that what they do is healthy and right.

You can explain the birds and the bees to pro-homosexuality people all day, and you can point to the plant and animal kingdoms all you want, but they can’t perceive the obvious. They are literally insane. Spirits have convinced them evil is good.

Spirits are telling mobs white people cause their problems, which is beyond absurd.

White people have spread the gospel around the world. White people are primarily responsible for science, engineering, and medicine. White people spread the concept of civilization that incorporates strong individual rights, including rights for minorities. White people gave us the only tolerable systems of government. Whatever the faults of Caucasians may be, we do not cause all the world’s problems, and we have done a tremendous amount of good.

White people deserve most of the credit for civil rights reform. No one likes to hear that, but it’s true. White people are the only people who will march to protest their own racism. Black and Hispanic racism are intense and widespread. They are mainstream. You never see non-white people marching in the streets protesting their own dangerous, self-destructive bigotry.

We’re just not that bad, but the insane, many of whom are white, are convinced the nation would be better off with blacks, Hispanics, and American Indians in charge. It’s probably not a great idea to look at Africa, Mexico, South America, or Haiti when you make that claim, but they make it anyway.

Haiti is one of the worst places on earth, and their BLM movement achieved complete and permanent success over 200 years ago. People of other races cause problems just fine without white involvement.

Racial disunity is a great evil, and BLM perpetuates it through slander and violence. The Holy Spirit unifies people who are physically descended from different races. He makes them brothers and sisters in ways genetics can never rival. People who choose sides based on physical race and genetics are fighting God, who says all those who are led by the Holy Spirit are siblings.

Isaiah says God’s house will be a house of prayer for all people. How is it, then, that we still have Christians who separate themselves by race? If you run a black church, how are you going to feel if you go to heaven and find yourself surrounded by whites and Asians? How will you explain how you practiced segregation on earth?

There I go again, using reason, as though it had some sort of power.

Much of the time, the truth is spoken not to bring change but to facilitate judgment. Often, God speaks to people who won’t listen, simply so there will be evidence to use against them when they are judged. And sometimes the truth is spoken as confirmation for those who already believe.

Here’s another truth that has been brought home to me: the justice system is useless because it heeds the voice of the Beast.

I’ve always known courts functioned poorly. Many jurors are stupid, stubborn, and dishonest. Many judges are stupid, stubborn, and dishonest. If you have a very strong case, you will probably win when you go to court, but if there is any room for squirming, there’s a good chance you will be wronged by the judge or jury. This has always been true. Lawyers aren’t supposed to say things like this because we’re generally full of it. We’re supposed to have a sort of thin blue line. We’re supposed to talk about the majesty and holiness of the legal calling, but we all know what I’m saying is true.

These days, things are worse than they used to be. In the past, your main problems were the biases of your judge and jury. Now you have to worry about the opinions of complete idiots jumping up and down on overturned police cars. Prosecutors, judges, and jurors are going after people because they want to placate rioters and potential rioters. They want to please utter morons.

Well, maybe not morons. Psychotics. The hopelessly, willfully insane.

The kind of people who motivated the invention of the water cannon.

We saw this in the Zimmerman case. A man who was Hispanic, partly black, and partly white was recruited and trained by the police so he could do neighborhood watch work. He saw a stranger on the grass between residences in an area where property crime was rampant. He followed the stranger, legally, in order to guide the police to him. The stranger, who was younger, bigger, stronger, and in better physical condition, attacked him illegally and began beating his head against a concrete sidewalk. Zimmerman, who was armed legally and modestly, fired a single shot and then stopped.

Prosecutor Angela Corey committed perjury–a felony and disbarment offense–in order to get Zimmerman into trial. There is no doubt about it. I read the documents and watched the hearing. Alan Dershowitz agrees.

The other day, a man tried to drive past a belligerent crowd in Seattle. I’ve seen the video. He rolled up to an intersection at about 10 miles per hour. Protestors blocked him, which is a crime. A big man reached into his window and punched him in the face for no reason. The injured victim got out, waved a gun, and ran to the nearest police station. He could not drive away because he was blocked and his car had stalled. He shot his attacker in the arm and then withheld fire. Now he has a felony case to deal with. That’s amazing.

He may have been seconds away from being pulled out of the car and being beaten like Reginald Denny.

The standard justification for using lethal force is a reasonable fear of serious injury or death. This man was in a sea of angry lawbreakers, in a country where people were being beaten and killed by rioters. He was attacked for no reason. He did nothing wrong while he approached the intersection. He was attacked viciously by a larger assailant who was part of a group, and he used restraint in defending himself. Obviously, his mental state met the criteria for the legal use of deadly force.

Doesn’t matter. The Beast cried out for blood, just as it did in the Coliseum in Rome.

The prosecutors would have been happier had he been kicked to death.

They didn’t arrest the man who beat the victim or the criminals who blocked the road.

Witnesses and news anchors said the victim drove at the crowd at high speed. Nothing could be further from the truth. There was no crowd in front of him. Criminals stopped him by throwing an object in his path, and he was moving slowly. Internet stories say the attacker is a hero who was shot while shielding others!

Your rights don’t matter very much now. Not when you’re against the Beast. He has most people intimidated. They want to curry favor with him. They want to appease, just as Jews appease his servants in Israel by giving them land. The truth won’t necessarily help you. The law may not help you, because it may not be applied.

The law does whatever the police, prosecutors, judges, and jurors want it to. That has always been true. Lawyers are not supposed to say that, but it’s true. When the Beast infects the minds of people who decide what the law means, the law itself becomes clay in the hands of sadistic children.

You can’t make the law your messiah. You can’t expect to be treated well just because you’re innocent. There are a lot of conservatives who want to go as far as the law permits. That’s dangerous. Sometimes you need to yield a considerable distance from the boundary where your rights end. You don’t have to go everywhere the law lets you go. You don’t have to say everything the law lets you say. You don’t have to protect yourself with violence just because the law permits it.

I’m not saying people should bend the knee every time, but an intelligent person chooses his battles. Even Jesus avoided his enemies.

What if the victim in Seattle had decided not to assert his rights as fully as he did? He shouldn’t have had to take another route, but if he had, he would be at work today without the threat of imprisonment and poverty hanging over his head.

The press has largely ignored the story since the victim’s name was released. He’s Hispanic. His name is Nikolas Fernandez. If his name were Flaherty, we would still be hearing about him.

Imagine what it must be like to be a Hispanic man in prison for shooting a black man. In Washington prisons, there are about 4 times as many blacks as Hispanics.

The proper answer to your safety problems is to get to know the Holy Spirit. You need to know how to pray, bless, and curse. You need to hear God and obey him when he tells you what to do and what to avoid doing. Physical weapons are better than nothing, but you shouldn’t settle for better than nothing. You should be obtaining the best weapons and cover there are.

I support the people who mass at BLMtifa protests with displayed weapons. Don’t doubt that. Today I saw a ridiculous article about armed people ruining a “peaceful” protest. What the biased writer didn’t say was that the weapons were what kept the protest peaceful. There have been a lot of riots that could have been prevented by the presence of armed citizens. It’s great that the police are cooperating with armed citizens in so many places. But ultimately, you need God to wrap himself around you like a shield. You can’t buy that at a gun shop.

A pistol is a third-rate weapon you should only use to fight your way to a rifle, and a rifle is something you should only rely on when you can’t get God’s help.

People say guns at protests will lead to shootouts, but that probably isn’t true. The protestors can’t bring guns and start shooting without abandoning their pose of left-wing faux holiness. It would be even more of a gaffe than eating factory veal.

I’m not sure what to do with myself, living in world which is ceasing to function. I’m pretty sure the world has gone insane for keeps. We recovered from the 1960’s because people got tired of posing and got jobs. We recovered from the PC plague of the 1980’s because the majority of Americans ridiculed it. The response to the 2020 PC plague is weak, and it seems to be losing ground.

The Revelation tells a story of Satan’s plan for the church. It says a woman clothed with the sun gave birth, and a red dragon waited so it could eat the baby. The dragon was cast down to Earth, and the baby–Jesus–was taken out of his reach. The dragon’s answer was to try to drown the woman with a flood. We are the woman.

In the Bible, floods are voices, words, and people. Look what we’re seeing now. The antichristians are trying to drown us in words and mobthink. They tell lie after lie, just as Goebbels would wish, until the lies are accepted as truth and those who tell the truth are seen as wrong and dangerous. It’s not just our words they object to; it’s our existence and the record of our existence.

They have a new thing: “canceling.” Once you’ve said enough things they don’t like, they decide you don’t exist. It’s exactly like the Orthodox Jewish practice of trying to “blot out” the name of Yeshua. It’s not enough to win the fight; you have to make it as though your adversary never existed.

How did Peter avoid drowning? He was able to walk on water only because Jesus lifted him. He could not save himself. It’s a picture of Spirit-led Christians rising above the current flood of antichristian propaganda and slander.

Are you surprised because the social nephilim…I mean “giants”…are censoring conservatives and Christians? Why? Didn’t you see it coming? You did if you read my blog.

Do you feel safe because the things you say are protected by the Constitution? Do you feel safe because the most provocative things you’ve said were uttered years ago? Don’t fool yourself. You are liable, and you will always be at risk. The antichristians don’t respect the Constitution, and they have no statute of limitations. We’ve already seen people have their lives ruined over things they said decades ago.

I hope they never get their hands on the Trumps. If the family exists long enough, there will be attempts to have mock trials accompanied by atrocities.

I fully expect the antichristians to come for me eventually. My blog will be all the evidence they need. They will need to erase me and everyone like me in order to perfect their fantasy world.

What am I supposed to do with the remaining 30 or so years I may have left? Three decades trapped in a mental ward, with people who can’t be cured because they hate the medicine. Three decades of humoring lunatics. Is that my future?

As of today, the insanity isn’t complete. We have what I would call insanity-related complex. Full-blown insanity is still on the way. I don’t want to be here for that.

Some people pity John for being exiled to Patmos, but I think it was a great break for him. It’s a beautiful island with a nice climate. It was isolated from the insanity of the Roman Empire. I think he must have loved Patmos. I live in a sort of Patmos right now, and I would literally prefer death to moving back to a suburb. Give me a meteor any day. It beats sitting in traffic, kowtowing to sleazy mayors, being threatened with riots, and having neighbors in my face all day, pressuring me with their ignorance and immaturity.

You don’t have to be in the middle of a city to serve God. We have the Internet now, we have wonderful things called cars that allow you to visit populated areas briefly, and besides, are cities very likely to be productive? If they were, would they be in the shape they’re in?

People who still think reason and their rights will protect them are going to go down just like the Jews who waited for the German government to save them. You need to get away from the Beast’s strongholds before the window closes. You need to connect with God. Otherwise you’re just driving through enemy territory without a map.

Four Food Groups in One Great Sandwich

Today I Lived the Dream

This afternoon I did something some would consider unthinkable.

Long, long ago, in a country far, far away, which was known as the United States, where Bruce Jenner was male and it was okay to throw illegal immigrants out of your country for reasons everyone understood, I had my first chili slaw dog. I believe I ordered it at Uni’s, a small ice cream shack in the town of Cashiers, North Carolina. I recall being stunned that such things existed. I had to try one.

It blew my mind. The combination of cheap buns, hot dogs that were probably mostly saw dust and rat hairs, and chili which may well have been made from stray cats, was excellent. It was more than excellent; it was right.

Since then, I have often joked about eating something even more awe-inspiring: the chili-CHEESE-slaw dog. But I can’t recall actually having one. Maybe I did. At my age, a person has done many, many things. I can’t remember everything. I’m amazed I remembered Uni’s.

Today I decided it was time for my body to cash the check my mouth had written. Behold:

That’s two Ball Park dogs, homemade slaw, colby/jack cheese, and the worst chili you can buy without going to a store brand: Hormel No Beans. I think they generate this stuff from the meat residue too gross even for sausage-making.

I make what may well be the most astonishing chili on earth, so why the can of, for all I know, ground lungs and nipples? Couple of reasons. First, this was just a test run. Second, I’m not sure good chili would work in a chili dog. It’s trash cuisine to begin with, so using good ingredients could well ruin it.

I boiled the dogs in plain old water because I did not want to waste Sierra Nevada ale, and before I added the slaw, I melted the cheese with a Black & Decker heat gun. It went hot dog => chili => cheese => slaw.

Let’s state the obvious: they were magnificent. But there were issues, and I found room for improvement.

First: the slaw went absolutely everywhere. There was no way to contain it. I had to eat directly over the plate, and when I was done, I still needed a broom. In the future, I need to cut the slaw much finer. I used bagged slaw with my own sauce because grating your own cabbage doesn’t make slaw any better. The slaw was way too coarse to be managed easily.

Second: better chili would help. I was eating bland hot dogs, so the bland chili sort of blended into them in my senses.

Third: better hot dogs would help. I think a Hillshire Farms smoked beef sausage would be perfect. I’m not sure why anyone buys the unseasoned Slim Jims that pass for hot dogs in 2020 America.

Fourth: hot dog buns just don’t work. They don’t work for normal hot dogs, let alone beef sausages buried in chili and slaw. I think the best thing is to look for some kind of loaf that has a bun-like texture and cut it up to suit the geometry of the contents.

Fifth: more cheese. What food is there that doesn’t need more cheese? I would go with extra-sharp cheddar next time.

Sixth: onions. This sandwich needs chopped onions between the chili and cheese.

The slaw was pretty simple. Slaw mix, mayo, salt, sugar, celery seed, and cider vinegar. I have made slaw with Miracle Whip, but it doesn’t really work even though it seems like it should.

I recommend trying a couple of these when no one is around. You won’t be sorry.

I feel like listening to the Kentucky Headhunters.

Monkeys v. Messiah

Clean Your House in Preparation for Departure

The feeling that the age of the church, or the age of the gentiles, if you prefer, is over, hangs on me like a weighted quilt. It has settled in.

For the last two thousand years, the God of Judaism has been holding an open house. Billions of people have joined, or claimed to have joined, his family. God used churches and preachers. He showed the world great patience while he increased the number of his children. Now things are winding down. Like an orchard owner whose trees have already been picked over, he has reached the point where the remaining fruit don’t justify keeping a full crew at work.

The harvest isn’t completely over, but then the Bible says it will continue into the tribulation, after the rapture.

Perry Stone teaches something interesting. A tribulum is a board with bits of metal or stone imbedded in the underside. A person who wants to separate grain from its husks stands on a tribulum while an animal pulls him around. Tribulation is a pretty harsh way of separating food from trash. The use of the word “tribulation” to describe God’s final effort at saving people before the Messianic Age seems to imply that the whole business is getting more difficult.

I was thinking about Seattle this morning. People who are so deluded they should be considered insane have taken over an entire neighborhood, intimidating and driving out citizens who are against them as well as the police and the mayor. In doing so, they showed rioters all over the country how powerful they are. They created a pattern for them to follow. The Seattle mutineers don’t seem to be burning or killing, although they have stolen a great deal, and they use rifles to force other people to bend the knee. What will antichristian insurgents in other cities do when they take over? No intelligent person would expect them to refrain from violence. To expect that would be to demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of human nature, not to mention ignorance of history.

To me, Seattle looks like a gentle warning from God. He’s showing people in other cities what they face if they don’t get connected to the Holy Spirit and move out. It’s not enough to move out, because you might move to the wrong place. You need the Holy Spirit to tell you exactly where to go.

The flood didn’t start with a wall of water a mile high. It started as a gentle rain. A few drops here and there. Seattle is a raindrop.

The antichristians are taking over cities. Somebody has to take over rural areas. Not by force, but simply by buying land and gathering there.

In ancient times, the Jews worshiped in the city of Jerusalem, and the pagans worshiped in the wilderness. This time, the cities belong to the pagans, and Christians are the ones living among the trees. Maybe it reflects an inversion of the power structure. Pagans used to be weaker than people who worshiped God. It made sense that they would worship in the wilderness. When pagans gain control, they aren’t afraid, so they go wherever they want. The pagan king Antiochus IV Epiphanes sacrificed a pig in the temple.

We are seeing underdogs rise up and rule people who used to have power over them. Things used to go pretty well for Christians, males, white people, and heterosexuals. They took over continents and replaced primitive, cruel civilizations that worshiped fallen angels and demons. The conquering peoples weren’t particularly good, but they carried a contagion God wanted to spread. They had the gospel. They were motivated largely by greed, but God backed them up anyway. The word says he won’t return until every people on earth has heard the gospel, so God gave favor to people carrying the infection.

Now the demographic that was useful to God has, by and large, melted into the antichristian crowd it was sent to save. The salt has lost its saltness, so it isn’t a preservative any more.

What did Jesus say would happen to salt that lost its saltness? He said it was only fit to be trodden underfoot. That’s what’s happening to the kind of people who used to be on top.

There are deluded people on the right who think white people should prevail because they’re superior. They think we should rise up, shake ourselves like Samson, and destroy the Philistines. They mistake the power of man for the power of God. They don’t understand the story of Belshazzar’s feast.

Samson was taken easily, and he was blinded and forced to grind grain. The far-right people who exalt themselves above God are as blind as he was, and they are going to grind grain. When you grind grain, you destroy its ability to reproduce, and you get a product which is only fit to be put in an oven and eaten. Jesus used a reference to a millstone to threaten clergymen who ground people up and ate their wealth instead of teaching them to grow and bear in the kingdom of heaven.

Leftist pagans and conservatives who deny the Holy Spirit serve Satan. They’ll be here after the rapture, after people who actually know God are moved home. The Bible speaks of antichrists who came out of Christianity. They still do. You can call yourself a Christian and still be a very damaging antichristian.

Leftist antichristians who think they’re fighting Christians are really fighting right-wing antichristians who merely claim to belong to God. The fight between these factions has nothing to do with real Christians. It’s a family squabble which will continue in hell.

The only true races are the family of God and the family of Satan. Color and geographic origin have nothing to do with race. Heaven and hell are full of people of all colors. The notion that white blood will save the world is a delusion that leads to damnation. So is the delusion that white people cause the world’s problems.

I’ve been listening to the Revelation. It speaks of four horsemen who are released before the end of the age. The first is a man on a white horse. He wears a crown and is sent out to conquer. The second is a man on a red horse, symbolizing blood, sent out with a sword to take peace from the world. The third is a man on a black horse, carrying scales, sent to bring lack. The fourth is a man on a pale horse, sent to spread plagues. The word translated as “pale” means “pallid” or “pale green,” like a very sick person or a corpse.

There is a difference between the first horsemen and the others. He is the only one with a crown. He can’t be a spreader of war, because the man on the red horse does that. After the horsemen are introduced, the last three horses are mentioned as a group, not including the man on the white horse.

The man on the white horse must be Jesus. He is royalty. His horse is white, symbolizing purity. He conquers. Christians are supposed to conquer. We aren’t supposed to subjugate people by force. We are supposed to spread salvation, conquering the kingdom of Satan. Jesus goes out gathering whomever he can before the others follow and judge the world.

The first horseman is sent out first, so he finishes first. His work is wrapping up. As he leaves center stage, the other horsemen get more power.

The story of the horsemen seems very consistent with what we’re seeing in the world today. And our president’s name is Trump, which almost seems too obvious. It’s a German word which means “drum,” but in English, it means “trump,” or “trumpet.”

“Donald” means “ruler of the world,” so “Donald Trump” could mean “trumpet of the ruler of the world.” His middle name is John, which means, “Yahweh is gracious.”

The trumpet of Yahweh, gracious ruler of the world?

“Joseph” means, “Yah increases.” Biden’s middle name, Robinette, means “little robin.” “Biden” means “button.” Not much there to work with. Of course, he would not rule long because of dementia, which will almost certainly kill him by 2025, disabling him much sooner. What if he picks Kamala Harris to be the next president?

“Kamala” means “lotus.” In Hinduism, the lotus symbolizes a person’s power to let demonic power flow through him. Her middle name, “Devi,” means “goddess.” Her last name means, “home ruler.” It doesn’t sound very good.

Harris was raised Hindu, so unless she has changed her mind, she worships demons. She also attended a Baptist church when she was young, but if you’re a Hindu and a Baptist, to God, you’re just a Hindu.

Barack Obama carried a Hindu idol in his pocket for luck, meaning favor from false gods, and he also contaminated the White House with a gold-covered statue of the same false god. The false god is named Hanuman, and he is like one of the nephilim or children of the fallen angels. He is the son of a false god. He has the form of a monkey, symbolizing the flesh, but he is immortal. Jesus died to cause the kingdom of heaven to invade the earth, which was ruled by fleshly people who served false gods. Satan wants to invade heaven and take the kingdom of the flesh there. He wants to “raise hell.”

Hanuman could be considered the Hindu antichrist. Jesus was a man conceived by God in the womb of a woman, and although he was flesh, he had the character of the Holy Spirit. He is the king of the body of Christ, a group of people who have transcended the nature of their monkey-like flesh. Hanuman was conceived by a fallen angel in the womb of a woman, and although he was supposed to be a god and a spirit, he had the form of a monkey. He was the king of the monkeys; animals that look like people yet which are no better than pigs.

Maybe the abomination Obama put in the White House was a foothold for a future invasion.

Very soon, we will reach the 2000th anniversary of the crucifixion. Historians think it happened between 30 and 33 A.D. Would God be that obvious? Would he really give us exactly 2000 years between the cruficixion and the rapture? The Bible says no one knows the date or hour when Jesus will return, but it doesn’t say you can’t know the year or the decade, and it doesn’t say anything about knowing the date of the rapture, which is a different event. The rapture is not the return of Jesus. In the rapture, we go to him. The return comes later, after the tribulation.

Will the rapture take place before, say, 2035? Will Jesus return and begin the Messianic Age by then? If he returns by 2035, he has to rapture us by the end of 2027. The tribulation, during which the saved will be in heaven at the marriage feast of Jesus, will take 7 years.

In other news, God have me a weapon which seems useful. I look at the undesirable things in my life, and I say, “I reject this delivery in the name of Jesus Christ. It does not belong to me.” I say it with regard to negative compulsions, physical problems, and so on. I feel things leave me when I say it. If you have the ability to perceive the supernatural, you know what I mean. I plan to keep doing it. I’m supposed to rule my own house.

I’m going to keep listening to the Revelation, and I am going to try to get more and more of God’s guidance. Even if the rapture doesn’t come by 2027, I don’t have a lot of time left.

Home Depot Table + Railroad Spring = Shooting Bench

My new .223 ammo arrived over the weekend, and today I got to shoot the AR15 again. The results were good.

I was upset after my first outing because I bought Norma 55-grain Tactical FMJ and got bad results. I shot something like 5 MOA. I thought maybe the gun was screwed up. I knew Fiocchi Extrema ammunition shot like a laser in my .204 Ruger, so I ordered some for the AR, figuring it had to be a good choice for determining whether a gun could shoot straight.

Last time I shot the gun, I was not happy with the table. I found the point of aim moved about an inch when I rested my hand on the plastic. Today I came up with a remedy worthy of my Eastern Kentucky heritage. I took an old railroad spring and put it on the table. I figured the weight would preload it and take out the bounce. It must have worked, because I didn’t see any changes when I put my hand on the table.

It’s not ideal, but it’s good enough to get the scope on paper.

I used a rabbit-ear rear bag. It’s not my favorite rest. It seems like it’s never the right height. I need to find something else.

Instead of my Rock Jr. front rest, I used a new Magpul M-Lok bipod. Pluses: it’s well-made, and it seems to be great at what it’s supposed to do. Minus: it’s not supposed to be adjustable for precision shooting. You get big jumps in leg length or nothing. You have to choose a bipod height and make your rear rest adjust to it, and that’s no fun when your rear rest is a problem.

My solution was to set the bipod as well as I could, lean into it to take out as much wobble as possible, finesse the gun’s butt until the crosshairs were on the center of the target, and fire. It worked fine for 50 yards. The shots were so close together, I started wondering if I was missing the paper. Here’s a photo.

I fired 8 rounds to the lower left, and the I moved the scope 12 clicks up and to the right. Then I shot 12 rounds in the center of the bullseye. The point of aim was the same for all shots. I had a flyer during the second group, but it was still not far from the center.

I am relieved. The gun will shoot. If it will shoot this well with cheap ammo, a terrible rest, and a dubious shooter, it will probably do 1 MOA at 100 yards with better treatment.

I don’t know if this ammo is right for pigs, but if it is, they wouldn’t stand a chance against this gun and these cartridges. If the ammo isn’t right, there is definitely something else that will work with the same or better accuracy. As long as the gun is good, accurate ammo can be found or made.

In other news, I got some pleasing information regarding my 20x scope. No, my other 20x scope. I wanted to use it for a long-range shooting class, but when I emailed the instructor, he said it wouldn’t work because it didn’t have target turrets. Now it looks like it will work after all.

I didn’t know what a target turret was. In case you’re wondering, I’ll put up a photo. Most scope turrets have tiny dials with microscopic graduations. I have no problem with them, but serious distance shooters use dials with huge markings. For about a week, I tried to get information about target turrets, and even with the Internet, it was not easy. It took me a long time to piece things together. It looked like I would have to spend around $200 even if I installed them myself.

I emailed Leupold, which is the company that made the scope. They pointed out that I already had target turrets. I just didn’t recognize them because they looked so different from the ones I had seen on the web.

A lot of long-range scopes have big turrets with enormous markings on them. I thought the big markings were part of what made them target turrets. In fact, they are not. It looks like a target turret is just a large turret with markings around the sides.

I think I’m all set. I have the scope. I have a couple of rifles to choose from. I already have ammunition. It should work out.

It will be neat to have someone telling me how to shoot. Generally, I have to figure things out myself.

I can’t imagine shooting at 1000 yards. It must be a blast to hit anything at all at that range. Also, I know what happens when you learn to shoot at long distances. It makes you shoot better at short distances.

If I can shoot well at 1000 yards, 100 yards, 25 yards, and 7 yards, I will be a very dangerous person indeed, which seems like a waste given my lack of hostile intent. It almost makes me wish zombies were real.

I guess squirrels are my zombies.

The People You Admire Reveal What’s Wrong With You

I was thinking about writing about the body of the Beast and their 100% Biblical, yet seemingly new, policy of “canceling” people they disagree with. But then I got distracted by a Clint Smith video.

Clint Smith is probably the leading Internet firearms comedian, but that’s not his only credential. He’s a former marine. He was a cop for a while, and he was a SWAT team member (hopefully not like the one in Miami who shot at an autistic man from about 100 feet and hit the black guy next to him). He has all sorts of firearms stuff in his resume. He co-founded Thunder Ranch, which is a respected school for people who want…actually, I’m not quite sure what they want. To be militia members? To convince themselves they’re Clint Eastwood? The facility teaches all sorts of things that seem to go way beyond anything a normal person could expect to experience as a crime victim.

It looks like he’s a bona fide authority with a remarkable trove of knowledge, but he’s mainly famous for crabby Youtube videos in which he goes off like Sam Kinison on a gallon of espresso.

The strange thing is that people post comments I would describe as worshipful. They thank him for setting them straight and correcting all the nonsense they learned in the past.

I just saw a video on which he offered all sorts of strange pearls for the faithful.

Let’s see.

1. You shouldn’t swim in the ocean, because most shark attacks occur in less than three feet of water. A Marine said that. A former SWAT team member. Be afraid of fish.

Don’t Marines show up in ships and storm beaches? Am I wrong? Was that the Air Force?

2. He jabbed people for failing to keep fire extinguishers beside their beds, because statistics say you’re more likely to “burn alive” in a fire than in a home invasion. What about the low odds of shark attacks? Should you carry a fire extinguisher while you swim?

I don’t have a fire extinguisher by my bed. I do have a ridiculous network of smoke alarms connected to a wireless system that calls the fire department, and I sleep next to a plate glass door that opens onto my yard. The fire extinguisher is in the kitchen, next to the shark repellant.

There are a lot of bad things that can happen during a home invasion that don’t involve death. Beatings and rapes come to mind. So does theft. When you think about odds, shouldn’t you consider the fact that bad outcomes other than death are much more common than death?

Burning alive is pretty rare. People who die in fires are generally killed by the smoke.

3. He said he wouldn’t have a .380 up his behind if he had room there for a tugboat. This guy has to be pushing 80, and he has exactly the kind of mouth you don’t want around your grandkids. This is what he has learned in all those years. Even if you liked him, you could not invite him to a barbecue at your house. And what about people who can’t handle a 9mm? There are plenty of them out there. A .380 you can shoot is better than a 9mm you can’t.

4. He criticized .300 Blackout, an AR15 caliber similar to 7.62x39mm, because it supposedly has a trajectory like a mortar round for long shots. Do civilians make 400-yard shots in self-defense? Has that ever happened in the history of the United States or even the world? The .300 Blackout has more killing power than the 5.56mm at realistic distances, and it penetrates obstacles, such as walls and furniture, better. Should you give all that up just in case you happen to become the only civilian in the history of the world to kill in self-defense at 400 yards?

5. He picked on people who question his choice of a 1911 for carry. He admits he and the gun are old. Then he says, “Did you ever think there’s a reason I got this old?” Wow. Wouldn’t you be more likely to live to be old if you carried a high-capacity gun? I love the 1911, but I’m not going to give up 3 to 10 rounds just so I can carry a gun I love and be a wise guy.

6. He said all horses and motorcycles were good for was turning people into “bone donors.” New phrase to me. He went into the infantry and then worked on a SWAT team, and he thinks people who take unnecessary risks are foolish. Okay.

7. Regarding .223 Remington, he said he had never wanted to take the place of anyone who had been shot with it. Couldn’t you say that about a BB gun? Is this really the standard by which you judge a caliber? He also said he didn’t know if it was the best choice in the world. If he doesn’t know that by now, what has he been doing all these years? This is pretty low on the difficulty scale for an expert, and it’s pretty much a threshold question when you’re teaching people how to defend themselves.

8. He said serving on a submarine was stupid and asked who would get into a can with a bunch of other people in the middle of the ocean. Subs are the strongest part of our nuclear deterrent, far and away. Isn’t that a good reason for a person to go live in a can?

9. Regarding custom guns, he said something incredible: “What makes you think you’re going to fight with your gun?”

Okay. First of all, I don’t have anyone else’s gun. All I have are my guns. I don’t know how to get my hands on someone else’s gun. What makes Clint Smith think someone else’s gun is going to be handy when I have to defend myself? How is that supposed to happen?

Customized guns can have great things like laser sights, flashlights, red dot sights, night sights, improved triggers, improved grips, and larger magazines. I’m just listing things that would clearly be helpful in a gunfight. What conceivable reason could you have to turn all that down?

How will having a customized gun hurt me if I have to fight with someone else’s gun? That is not clear at all. Would I somehow lose the ability to use other guns? Should I get rid of most of my guns and only keep one, because if I keep shooting my .22’s, I’ll be totally unable to work a Glock?

10. He criticized people who put a lot of junk on their rifles, not because the junk doesn’t work, but because it’s heavy. He said, “There is not an infantryman alive who wants a heavier gun.” Is he teaching infantrymen? I think it’s obvious that you don’t want 10 pounds of tactical junk on your rifle, but even if it’s there, you can probably carry it across your living room or yard. Shouldn’t instruction and equipment have some relevance to the needs of the people you’re teaching?

He said, “You don’t need a heavy rifle. You need a rifle that functions.” But he promotes the AR15, which…often fails to function, shooting a caliber that often fails to incapacitate.

11. He said a woman who wanted to buy her first gun should get a Glock and 25 magazines. He really said that. What is a housewife going to do with 426 cartridges in one gunfight? Find me one example of any human being, anywhere, including Fallujah, who needed 426 pistol rounds to deal with a single engagement. Well. Maybe in Fallujah. In America, you won’t be facing the Republican Guard, and you have to stop shooting people once they quit.

I think this guy is proof that being funny, having strong opinions, and intimidating people with your resume and with insults can get you a much bigger audience and more respect than you actually deserve.

“He’s an expert! He has a rare collection of knowledge and skills!” So what? When you’re learning to defend yourself with a gun, you don’t need Isaac Newton to teach you. It’s all simple stuff. There are probably half a million people in the US who could teach you just as effectively as Clint Smith. Here’s how you hold a gun. Here’s how you aim. Here’s how you use cover. Here’s what you should be thinking about in a gunfight. It’s not advanced physics. The guy at your nearest instruction facility can probably teach you just as well as Clint Smith, without the profanity or weird, inappropriate SWAT and infantry stuff.

Look, if you were the best woodworking instructor on planet earth, and you acted like this guy, I would be perfectly content to go and learn from the thousandth-best instructor and deal with someone more mature. Running a table saw is just not that hard. It works the same way with shooting. Clint Smith didn’t invent anything, and he can’t patent anything. He’s not doing well because he can give you something no one else can give. He does well because he’s a great self-promoter.

There’s a guy up the road from me who has a school. I’m sure he can teach me anything Clint Smith can, without lecturing me about his phobia of carnivorous fish.

Here’s another problem: he contradicts himself. What good is advice if it’s self-nullifying? Example: he says having a lot of ammunition is very important, and he says people with backup guns should have backup guns as powerful, or more powerful, than their primary guns. Then in the same video he tells his audience how great revolvers are, and he says you should fear a man who carries one gun, because he knows how to use it. He makes fun of young people with plastic guns and big magazines. What happened to the housewife with 25 Glock magazines? Have we decided that was a bad idea?

No one calls him on his nonsense because it would be like going into a room full of Jimi Hendrix fans and reminding them Stevie Ray Vaughan was better. The worship has nothing to do with logic. They’re like the food nuts who clap when Alton Brown ruins a steak.

Smith’s outfit created a Thunder Ranch .44 Special revolver. The cost was $750. It came in a pretty box, and it had pretty wooden grips and a ridiculous Thunder Ranch plaque sort of a thing attached to it. People criticized it for reasons which should be obvious. He wrote a column in a gun magazine and called them…dirty language alert…”turd suckers.” He marketed a very silly gun out of pure materialism, and people who didn’t swallow the bait got called a dirty name.

I’ll link to a blogger who provided a concise essay showing not everyone was drinking the Clint-Aid back then.

Why would you want to be around this guy any longer than you had to? I can’t imagine paying $1100 to listen to him for three days. Three minutes of standup comedy? Sure. But not three days of teaching. Would you want to spend three days listening to Jim Carrey routines?

The .44 Special is like a .44 Magnum except for the lack of power. It gives velocities down around 750 fps. I assume it only holds 6 rounds, given the diameter of the cartridges. It weighs almost 36 ounces, empty, or 10 ounces more than a 15-round Glock 22. It’s very slow to reload unless you carry speed loaders, and then…it’s still pretty slow.

It sounds like the ballistics are about like those of a 1911, but you’re getting those ballistics from an obsolescent tool, the deficiencies of which could easily result in you being killed.

Clint Smith stands by revolvers. Even though he carries a 1911. Okay. Our military went semiauto in…1911. One hundred and nine years ago. Even the cops figured it out by the 1990’s. A revolver weighs a lot, it has a terrible trigger for single-action shooting (the only kind of revolver shooting that happens in gunfights), and concealing it is like trying to conceal a bucket of chicken.

Why would you try to get self-defense students to carry a substandard, overpriced weapon? If I ran a school for amateur drag racers, I wouldn’t put out a commemorative Smart Car.

It’s amazing how people can attach themselves to, and nearly deify, individuals who are clearly best avoided.

Real self-defense does not require a college degree. You don’t need to know how to shoot prone. You don’t need to complete combat courses with popup targets. You don’t need to stand in front of a mirror practicing changing magazines. You don’t need to be able to hit anything more than 100 feet away.

Here’s what nearly all self-defense situations look like: a drunk guy kicks your door over and over at 3 a.m. You stand in your living room and yell that you have a gun. He comes in anyway, you shoot him twice in the chest, using whatever gun you had on your nightstand, and then you call the police. Or you may be walking in a city and find yourself confronted by an assailant armed with a knife, a hammer, or his own physical superiority. You pull your gun, and if necessary, you shoot him until he knocks it off. I’ll bet 98% of self-defense shootings are fundamentally similar to these two models. You don’t have to go put on your black ninja pants. You don’t have to know anything about bullet drop. You don’t have to have Jeff Cooper’s color system memorized.

Cooper. There’s another beauty. He said it would be a public service to supply urban criminals with ammunition so they could exterminate each other. How can anyone take a person like that seriously? He also said .45 ACP full metal jacket bullets were great for self-defense, well past the beginning of the hollowpoint era. I don’t know whether he kept a 1911 in his Model T.

Guru worshipers are a mess. They’re the same people who think Massad Ayoob is right about everything. He has no degree. He knows nothing about ballistics, which is a science. He can’t design a gun because he isn’t an engineer. He knows very little about law; I’ve seen what he wrote about the Zimmerman case, and he completely missed what was important, because he was not equipped to understand what was happening. He has no experience in the military. His police experience is not worth talking about, since it was part-time and happened in a tiny town about as dangerous as the Munchkin City. But if Masaad said it, it’s automatically true.

Get a good high-capacity pistol or two. Get a carry permit. Buy a high-capacity long gun for home defense. Learn to shoot very well. Know the difference between cover and concealment, for both yourself and your assailants. KEEP YOUR PHONE CHARGED and know how to use it to call the cops fast. Keep hearing protection by your bed. Put a lot of thought into how to run away from fights, because it’s almost always the best move. Always think in terms of defusing and escape. Using a gun should be like jumping out of an airplane. It’s only acceptable when the only alternative is far worse.

That ought to set you up just fine. If you want to go to a school, fantastic, but don’t assume some doofus who looks scary in tactical pants and runs his mouth is the supreme intellect of the galaxy. I don’t care if he was a cop. I don’t care if he was a SEAL. I don’t care if he went to Vietnam or Iraq. Some cops are idiots. A lot of idiots go to war, serve admirably and with great courage, and come back idiots.

I guess I’m not a Clint Smith admirer.

Good Guns Make Good Marksmen

June 14th, 2020

Okay; “Better”

I finally shot the Smith & Wesson Performance Center 1911 today.

I bought this gun because I wanted to quit playing around and see how well I shot when the gun itself no longer held me back. I wanted a great trigger and a properly mounted barrel with a good muzzle. I think I got what I asked for.

Here are today’s 7-yard targets. I only shot 24 rounds.

I used cheap Aguila FMJ. Most product defects become obvious right away, and if this gun had had a problem, I didn’t want Smith & Wesson to be able to blame it on homemade ammo. I plan to start shooting handloads as soon as the remaining 26 rounds of Aguila are gone.

Funny thing…I found a .45 round lying on the ground behind the target. It didn’t burrow into the berm. How can that happen if a cartridge is made correctly? My experience has been that handloads are better, not worse.

Are these targets better than targets I’ve shot in the past? Yes and no. Yes, because I shot some tiny clusters that appear to be an indication of what I can actually do with this ammo and this gun. No, because overall, the targets aren’t significantly better than past efforts. Things seemed to open up after the first bullseye.

I believe practice is the issue. I need to remember to exercise my hands, too. If your hands aren’t in shape from regular hand-specific exercise, they will probably shake slightly after a certain number of shots. No one else seems to know this or discuss it, but I have found it to be true. I guess I discovered the problem, just as I discovered the problems wobbly shoes can cause.

People made fun of me because I said the wrong shoes could change a gun’s point of impact. You know what? I shoot better than they do, so who cares what they say?

This gun is much, much nicer to shoot than my big new Glock, which placed some shots three inches apart with Sellier & Bellot FMJ while also landing two inches high. I hope the ammo is the problem.

I found a video on smoothing out Glock triggers. It’s just a matter of polishing. I plan to try it. I may also buy a few aftermarket parts. The way the Glock shoots now is unacceptable. It’s my 5th Glock, and the others all did as they were told.

I really like the shoulder holster I got for the 1911. No more tossing it on the utility cart seat while changing targets, and I always know where the magazines are.

I highly recommend the PC1911. Lots of fun. Very satisfying. Very cooperative. You could even use it for self-defense if you were willing to sacrifice magazine capacity. Sounds like a bad idea, but at least you would hit what you were aiming at, and you’d have lots of stopping power. Also, you can pistol-whip a burglar with a 1911. Try that with a plastic gun.
