More Garlic Trouble

My Dreams Smell Like This

I got a choice rib roast on sale at Winn-Dixie the other day. I’m planning to roast it tomorrow. I just took it out of the package to cut the ribs loose, salt it, apply garlic butter, and tie it back up.

I think I’m going to faint. The meat was just starting to get funky from sitting in the fridge. The butter…the garlic…I want my whole world to smell like this. AND I CAN’T HAVE ANY UNTIL TOMORROW NIGHT.

This is inhumane.

There is nothing quite like a mighty standing rib roast of beef, seasoned and roasted to medium-rare perfection. Enjoy the delicious anticipation… and then enjoy the beef.

I have something very strange to confess. I have never made a roast as an adult. Really!

Yes, my mom used to have ’em when I was a kid. But – somehow, I do chicken and steaks and fish and pasta and … no roasts!

Sure sounds YUMMY, however, Steve! Hope you make it to tomorrow night!
