   Blindshooter, your dad will be in my thoughts and prayers today.

   And, I have a favor to ask myself. In a terrible accident, my baby parakeet, Sunny, was killed. When I am busy, I am OK. But, during the lull, the guilt and the pain from having caused the death of my beloved pet are almost too much to bear. If people could ask God to forgive me, watch over Sunny – and somehow, learn to forgive myself – I would be extremely grateful.

   My thanks to Steve, who already has given me words of comfort, advice, along with personal experience of tragedy with pets.

   Thank you everyone – so very much.

   Update,
   No cath today due to some kidney trouble. He had a real bad day Monday with fluid build up(wet lungs, not good) and the massive amounts of medicine taxed the kidneys some and the Docs thought it would be best not to run dye from the heart cath through them. We are shooting for Friday sometime now.

   Peg, sorry about you losing your bird. Its always hard to lose a pet but worse when you blame yourself. I lost a dog once and blamed myself because she was old and I let her stay outside with me one day when it was real hot and she got sick and died that night. I think her heart just stopped due to the extra stress of the day. The dog was over 16 years old so it may have just been her time but I still think I hurried her along letting her stay out, even if that was what she wanted.
