Delusions of Grandeur

I know I am smoking crack, but I am checking out the SBA website to find out what would be involved in starting a storefront takeout pizza place. All I need is a town up the coast where the pizza stinks.

Go Steve, Go!

A successful business in the NW is a pizza company which makes uncooked pizzas. Originally “Papa Aldo’s”, then “Papa Murphy’s”.
.
A customer walks in and orders a pizza, the pizza folks make it, then customers take the uncooked pizza home and bake at home. And it’s pretty popular with the local Moms looking for a ‘healthy take-out’ dinner option.

Re: Frozen Pizzas For Sale

An option that’s a big seller at my local grocery store is the packaged set of goodies for a “non-fast-food” meal. My favorite is the full-set for a noodle supper: pork-strip, noodles, cooking sauce, and garnish.
.
If I could buy the pizza equivalent at a store – or a shop – I’d be there.

Papa Murphy does pretty well Steve. They are not excessively healthy. Looks like regular pizza to me. The only problem is that the home oven isn’t really right, but we make do.

Yeah, I don’t, either.

But just think – you could convert the Soccer Mom Masses through the enticement of “Fresh Baked Goodness”. What better way to stop annoying Soccer Moms from feeding their kids grub from Whole Foods, than with delicious, pizza goodness?

oooh, can you have a “Name that Pizza Place” contest?
Maybe “Passion of the Crust”?

If you open a pizza place I’ll make a special trip to Miami and drag all my friends who live in the area.

All this pizza talk got me worked up. Hitting Napoli’s in Flowery Branch for dinner tonight.

Best pizza in North Georgia. And it’s on the edge of suburbia. Two cousins from Italy run the joint and it’s fantastic. The sausage they use kinda sucks, but other toppings are good. Plain old cheese pizza is divine. A fresh, bright sauce. Real cheese. Perfect, thin crust with wonderful crispiness and just a touch of elasticity.

I need a cold shower now.
