God Didn’t Do This

He’s More Upset Than we Are

I wrote about last night’s election catastrophe, which my GOP Governor Ron Desantis, no weak-kneed chicken little has referred to as a “near extinction-level event” for the GOP. I think I need to add one more thing.

I don’t get angry at God. I used to, but eventually he helped me understand the filthiness and absurdity of being angry at someone perfect, who allowed himself to be tortured to death so he could take the punishment for the evil things I had done to him.

That being said, this morning, there were times when I started to feel annoyed with him. I cut it off. I told God I stood with him against my own flesh. I apologized. Nonetheless, I did have the beginnings of irrational irritation.

Here are some things to think about.

God isn’t up there glowering at us, taking pleasure in giving us leaders who will torment Jews and Christians. He is grieving. He is sad about what happened, just as we are. We should see ourselves as sitting beside him, sharing his grief.

God didn’t do this to us. People did. Mainly women and minorities, but people.

We have free will. God allows us to choose between him and Satan. Overwhelmingly, Americans have been choosing Satan for a long time. That’s how we ended up here. The human race let God down again.

This is nothing abnormal. People who know God expected this to happen sooner or later. I expected it sooner. It should not hurt anyone’s faith. It’s completely consistent with the Bible. How many times did God let heathens sack Jerusalem?

I suppose that is an appropriate thing to bring up, because Jerusalem is one of the left’s targets. Its political walls are coming down now. Antisemitism was one of the main reasons for the election bloodbath. People will say they oppose the government of Israel, not Jews as a group, but that’s generally not true. If they didn’t hate Jews, they would have looked at the evidence and judged Israel fairly instead of blaming it falsely for what its enemies do to Israel every day.

Where are Jews supposed to go now that Israel is losing its biggest earthly ally and antisemitism is going mainstream in America? I see no hope, given that very few of them are likely to get close to their Messiah.

Americans love to pat themselves on the back. Politicians love to tell us how wise and fair we are. Not true. A lot of God’s children live here, but the majority belongs to Satan.

It’s important to remember this: the conditions you and your family live under do not depend on your country. They depend on your relationship with Yeshua and the Holy Spirit. When the atrocities start, you don’t have to be included.

My dad was a horrible father for most of my life, and he taught me very little, but he taught me one thing that was very wise. He said, “Always look after yourself.”

He said it in connection with national elections. He wasn’t talking about selfishness. He meant that we can’t trust the government not to turn on us, which it just did.

Stick with God. Look after yourself.

I hope this helps people feel better. Anyone who thought Trump was the Messiah needs to wake up.

By the way, get ready for gun and ammo shortages as well as tyrannical anti-freedom laws that will shock even Hillary Clinton. Expect to lose your legal guns within the next ten years.
