I have to admit that even though I participated in the national hour of prayer at 6 pm on Monday, I did not have enough faith in the outcome. It is one time I didn’t end a prayer with God’s will be done. I also thought it was possible America has become so evil we did not deserve to live. So I was up until 2:30 am making sure the win was too big to rig. Oh me of little faith! God is faithful and will give America one more chance.
This will probably be my last big election, I am 88 and in 4 years I will be 92 if I am still around. I never expected to be here at this age and am doubtful I will live to 92, but it is possible, only God knows. This does give me the incentive to stick around and see what will happen with the Trump presidency.
Celebrated by smoking my first lamb ribs today. Oddly, sold as “Lamb Breast Plate”. Looked like miniature untrimmed spare ribs. Three hours on a Rec-Teq Bullseye Deluxe with a mixture of Applewood and Smokin Pecan pecan shell pellets at 275. Finished product actually resembled duck in a lot of ways.
On another subject, saw it alleged on a gun channel recently that 10mm is loaded much more like .40S&W by most manufacturers these days. Depressing.
The 10mm problem you mention has been around a very long time.
A bunch of early 10mm firearms were not very strong. I have seen it claimed that this is the reason most factory 10mm loads are weak. But you can always load your own, like me, or buy Black Hills.
The .40 S&W stuff they put out these days seems really good. I think I would choose it over .45 ACP just for the extra capacity. The difference in lethality isn’t that great.

“Oh happy day…”
I don’t think it’s just me. The world suddenly feels a lot lighter.
