I guess it’s wrong to brag, but I have to say something about my wife.
We got married one day ago, last year. Yesterday, I thought it was July 11, so I didn’t mention our anniversary when we talked. Later in the day, I saw I was wrong about the date, and I knew she was supposed to be in bed, so all I could do was send her a text.
Guess what? She had forgotten it was our anniversary.
She also forgets her birthday.
I will never have to sleep on the couch because I forgot a date.
Sorry, guys. This one is all mine.

A few years ago my wife and were talking with my father-in-law.
He wished us a happy anniversary. Both my wife and i had the deer in the head lights look. We both forgot.
Luckily dad reminded us.

A few days late on this, but happy anniversary! With all the upheaval going on in an increasingly decadent world, having an island of calm in the form of a stable, loving, supportive relationship truly is a blessing from the Lord.
