URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

April 9th, 2020

My young friend Travis has been shot. It was an accident. I just got a call from his phone. It was one of his friends. Travis told him to call me for prayer. He is crying out in pain. The friend says it’s a chest wound. They are waiting for the EMT’s.

This is the young man who looked after my dad’s house after I left Miami.

While trying to get information, I found out an old Instagram account of mine was stolen. I canceled the account, but it looks like some nut in Russia stole it. If you are following me on Instagram, you’re following a hacker.

I tried to call Travis’s phone several times, but there was no answer. My guess is that the young man who called me shot him and was arrested, preventing him from answering.

I could not talk to Travis, but I heard him saying, “Please, God, not this way.”

I contacted a mutual friend, and she managed to connect with Travis’s cousin in another state, so the wheels are rolling.

That’s all I know. Thank you for your prayers. It may be a long time before I know what’s happening.

    Father, please bring healing and recovery to Travis.
    Please glorify your name in this occasion.
    Please help all involved.
    Please comfort Steve and bring him knowledge and understanding and help him to be a light in this darkness.
    Move by Your Spirit and advance Your kingdom.
    Please give the medical attendees the skill and understanding as they work.
    In Jesus’ Name, please give us a good report.
