Secret Service Post-Assassination-Attempt Strategy: Blame Others

Losers

I already wrote about the Secret Service’s astonishing failure to protect Donald Trump. There is no conceivable way to excuse it. Heads must roll, and the people involved must not be “allowed to resign.” The executive branch must announce that they were fired for incompetence so their dismissals are as humiliating as possible. Otherwise, our enemies will know nothing has changed.

These things almost surely will not happen with a dementia patient in the White House, unless he realizes the danger a weak Secret Service poses to himself, his wife, and his dysfunctional children.

So what has the Secret Service said about this? They blame the local police. Check out this Fox link. They say the cops knew there was a shooter but could not find him in time to stop him.

It’s time to fire as many Secret Service people as humanly possible and hire a bunch of MEN, white heterosexuals if necessary, who are very, very good at their jobs. Delta Force. Whatever. Fire the women or keep them in roles where their weakness isn’t an issue. Fire the affirmative action people who didn’t have to meet real standards. The director should have been fired last night.

Why was she even hired? She must be a lesbian.

The problems with the excuses the Secret Service is making are obvious.

1. The local police failed (supposedly) because they knew an assassin was present and did not tell the Secret Service or Trump.

2. If 1 is wrong, and they did tell the Secret Service, the Secret Service failed because they allowed Trump to speak and did not make any effort to warn him or the crowd.

3. Regardless of 1 and 2, the Secret Service failed because they didn’t bother keeping people off the roof of a building from which a very easy rifle shot could kill the president and other attendees.

I looked at an aerial photo of the venue. The roof the assassin lay on is perfect for the job. It’s like someone put the building there for assassins. If I were a conspiracy nut, I would say Trump was deliberately set up by the police and Secret Service.

MORE

Now they’re saying the police sent a guy up on the roof to confront the assassin, and the cop ran away because the assassin pointed his rifle at him.

This is even worse than the situation I pictured. Some idiot on the local force decided to approach the shooter instead of simply shooting him or having the Secret Service do it, the Secret Service either was not informed or was informed and did nothing, the cop ran from the shooter instead of firing, and the shooter had time to shoot at Trump.

And no one bothered to warn or hide Trump, a man with a wife and 5 children.

They have to go.

MORE

Now they’re saying the Secret Service could not deal with the assassin before he fired at President Trump because their rules of engagement say they can’t shoot until someone fires at him.

Something is amiss there. A man was on a roof in a prone shooting position with a rifle that had been seen by numerous witnesses. The former president was a few yards away. The man was facing the former president. There is no way anyone in the government can convince me any law enforcement officer, Secret Service or not, is not clear to shoot under those circumstances.

A civilian would have been entitled to shoot. You or I. It’s standard defense law, going back hundreds of years. Whether you work for the government or not, you are always entitled to kill a person whom you reasonably fear is about to kill someone else. You don’t have to wait for the suspect to act.

Furthermore, the Secret Service and the police have no excuse whatsoever for allowing the assassin to get on the roof. Once the police knew he was or even MIGHT be on the roof, someone should have kept Trump off the stage.

If I go to an elementary school with anything that looks like a gun in my hand, they will shut the entire school down and call SWAT. Every door will be locked. Somehow, the people in charge of security at the rally couldn’t give the crowd and the former president the same protection.

They’re also saying the cop who confronted the assassin was not in a position to shoot at him when the assassin pointed his rifle at him. So I should not have said the cop ran away. I didn’t realize he was unable to fire. But if the cop was on the roof, and witnesses had told the cops the assassin was up there with a rifle, then the cops knew innocent people might be in grave danger, and somehow the Secret Service did not hide Trump or warn the crowd. The cops should have told the Secret Service what was happening before they checked the roof. Trump should have been hidden before the officer climbed on the roof. This is obvious.

I don’t see any scenario in which this was not a colossal and inexcusable failure that has to be punished. If I’m wrong, let me know.

In 2017, God said this to me: “The hatred is already here.” He meant that while human beings hadn’t yet resorted to murdering each other in the streets in large groups, they were already primed to do so. They were being restrained. All the talk about healing division sounds wonderful, but people don’t want healing. They want to fight. They would rather take sadistic pleasure in hurting and killing people they don’t value than change their hearts and live in peace.

Peace comes from alignment with the Holy Spirit. It’s not possible for peace to be maintained when one side has no interest in the Holy Spirit, and in today’s world, most people on both sides are disconnected from him. That includes Christians. Leftists and heathens are much worse, but there are also a lot of people on our side who are looking forward to settling things with weapons.

I think war often begins inside people. By the time physical weapons come into play, the war has been going on for quite a while in people’s hearts and minds. I believe that within ourselves, we passed the point of no return a long time ago.

As for Trump, it’s pretty clear he needs to hire real security. There is no point in wasting time with an agency or local police departments that can’t or won’t get the job done.

Fire Them All

I guess everyone is talking about the same thing today. Trump was finally shot.

I’m amazed it didn’t happen sooner. He has more enemies than John Wick.

I found out a few minutes after it happened. I saw that there had been some kind of problem at a rally, and I watched the video. He reached up to his right ear and grimaced in pain, and then he ducked. It was obvious something had struck him.

The left-wing coverage was appalling from the start. An early CNN headline said Trump fell. They must have been high-fiving in the room where that deliberate libel was written. “Finally, we can say the other guy fell.” Trump burst onto the scene as a candidate nearly a decade ago, and he has not fallen once. When will they quit with the false equivalence?

They knew he didn’t fall. They didn’t care. They had a chance to tell a lie, so they took it, not thinking about the way it would age during the next century or even over the next hour. Other liars in the MSM took the same low road. They don’t even try these days.

We now know a bullet went through his right ear. It was fired by a nut named Thomas Matthew Crooks. He was a registered Republican who also donated money to Act Blue, a far-left organization. The MSM played up the “registered Republican” thing, exactly the same way they never play up the “black male” thing when street crimes are committed by black males.

Leftists often register as Republicans so they can cheat and queer (sorry) our primaries.

Let’s look at the evidence in totality, as we now know it. Republican. Donated to Act Blue. Tried to kill a Republican president at a Republican rally. Also killed a person attending the rally and wounded at least two others. Yeah, the two seconds he spent checking the “R” box when indicating his affiliation really outweigh the other stuff.

Photos show a man with a woman’s hairstyle and geeky feminine eyeglass frames no normal conservative would wear.

Another thing: he couldn’t shoot. He shot from a prone position at 150 yards, using a rifle resembling an AR-15. That would be a 4-MOA rifle at worst, unless it was a complete piece of junk, and prone shooting is the easiest way to get precision. At 150 yards, 1 MOA is about 1.6″, so 4 MOA is 6.4″. How wide is Trump? Maybe 18″ when facing you at an angle? Crooks missed the center of mass by about that much, the only time he hit Trump. The other shots hit other people, so they were even worse.

A conservative would be less likely to be a terrible shot. Let me shoot at another person from 150 yards from the prone position, with a good gun I practice with, and he has nearly no chance of being missed. And I’m not all that good.

Crooks shot from a roof, meaning he was higher than his victims. Shooting downward is easier than making level shots because it reduces the bullet drop.

Crooks was wearing a T-shirt from the popular Youtube gun channel Demolition Ranch. I’m familiar with it. A rich veterinarian runs it. He does silly things like deliberately putting the wrong ammunition in guns and then firing them. I’m sure his fans are mostly conservative, but I don’t think the shirt makes Crooks conservative. It seems more likely he wore it to embarrass us. More than Demolition Ranch does.

Maybe Crooks really was conservative, and he was just mentally ill. So far, it appears unlikely. If he really is conservative, we’ll just have to admit it.

My best guess is that he is either on the trans spectrum, sympathetic to Hamas, or both.

I haven’t gotten to the real story yet. The real story is this: the Secret Service and the police organizations that worked the event are incompetent.

Sixty years ago, Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK and John Connally from an elevated position. He used a mail-order military surplus rifle, and he still got impact with two out of three shots. Clearly, the Secret Service has learned absolutely nothing since then. They let a man climb onto a white roof in broad daylight, carrying a rifle, and shoot a former president a couple of Frisbee throws away.

If I wanted to shoot Joe Biden, I wouldn’t try. I have–well…had–an inflated sense of the competency of the Secret Service. Before the Trump shooting, I would have expected to have to deal with drones, facial recognition, and only God knows what other clever tools designed to protect presidents. It would never have occurred to me that they might let me climb onto a building a few yards away, unmolested, and fire at will.

A single drone flying around the event would have picked up the sniper. Agents on foot with binoculars would have spotted him. There must be a number of computerized surveillance systems that would have picked him up, had they been used. The Secret Service and the police didn’t think of these things, but I, an old untrained guy in a recliner, did.

The government loves to say, “See something? Say something.” There was no system in place to help people say things to the Secret Service. Witnesses saw the sniper as he took several minutes to climb onto the roof and get settled. They waved their arms at the Secret Service and yelled at the police. There was no hotline they could use. The Secret Service and police ignored them. They allowed Trump to walk into an ambush dozens of people already knew about.

People are saying the Secret Service saved Trump. Never happened. Bad aim saved Trump. A round hit his ear, he heard it and felt pain, and he ducked behind the podium, which–please tell me this is true–must have been reinforced to resist gunfire. The Secret Service let him get shot, and then they reacted when he was already safe.

If Donald Trump gave a talk in my pasture, and I had to protect him myself on a thousand-dollar budget, you better believe I would find a way to reinforce his podium.

Anyone who says the Secret Service saved people is forgetting Corey Comperatore, the man whose brains were splattered by the assassin as he shielded his wife and daughter. They’re forgetting the two (at least) other people who were shot.

The Secret Service is a disgrace, not because it failed, but because it made an effort Barney Fife would have been ashamed of. It did not provide basic protection from a known threat. If you do a good job and fail, you have nothing to be ashamed of. Letting people with rifles climb onto roofs near a Trump rally is something completely different.

We and Trump’s family nearly got stuck with everlasting video of Trump’s brain and skull spraying all over about 30 rally attendees. We were spared not by an inch but by half an inch. That could have happened. Today, we could be watching one blurred video after another. We could be seeing photos of people with Trump’s blood and brains on their shirts and faces. Leftists would have made animated GIF’s to make each other laugh. Far worse than the Zapruder film. The Secret Service put us in this position.

I don’t know if it’s possible for the victims and their families to sue the Secret Service. I wish it were. The Secret Service deserves an embarrassing series of televised trials, and it deserves a bunch of firings.

People are saying the Secret Service is too busy with DEI to do a good job. I wouldn’t doubt it. A woman runs the show. A woman who has never been physically capable of doing everything an agent should be able to do. You have to wonder how many tee-ball hires they have.

Another person who deserves public shaming: Representative Bernie Thompson, an black Democrat who sponsored a deplorable bill that would strip convicted felons sentenced to prison of Secret Service protection. I’ll bet he’d want agents around his sorry butt if he had to mingle with the general population in a penitentiary. He wouldn’t want to depend on corrections officers. Ask Jeffrey Dahmer and Whitey Bulger.

As of this moment, the Secret Service is a loser agency and a laughingstock. Someone needs to go through it like Hercules went through the Augean stables before Biden gets his head blown off while trying to find his way off a stage. Wouldn’t that be a fine thing to add to America’s history?

As for Trump, I am very impressed. When you’re shot and wounded badly, you may not know it right away. Many people in Trump’s situation would have panicked and even cried. Many would have refused to stand back up. Trump got up, faced the cameras with blood on his cheek and the side of his head, insisted on getting his shoes, and then pumped his fist three times and yelled, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” That was great. He turned being shot into his greatest campaign triumph.

AP photographer Evan Vucci, who will be famous by mid-week, got a picture of Trump gesturing defiantly with our flag waving above his head in front of a deep blue sky. That picture will live forever. I promise you, it’s on T-shirts right now. I want one, even though I’m not as excited about Trump as many Republicans.

That photo is Trump’s Marines-on-Iwo-Jima shot. I feel like blowing it up and putting it on my living room wall.

I knew Trump was impervious to stress, but I had no idea how deep it ran. He is a marvel.

The Secret Service needs to be fixed, as does its reputation. Today, tens of thousands of nutjobs who used to be afraid of the Secret Service are suddenly wondering if they gave it too much credit. We need to make criminals afraid of the Secret Service again, fast.

I look forward to seeing a bunch of Secret Service and police officials roasted alive for this debacle. Their organizations need some tough love. If the Secret Service isn’t reformed, no one they allegedly protect will be safe. I hope a lot of useless people are humiliated and forced into retirement by September.

Is Dershowitz Crafty or Just Out of It?

Alec Baldwin is being tried this week. Interesting stuff. Alan Dershowitz posted an analysis video, and he predicted acquittal. Thing is, he didn’t really do an analysis. It was very disappointing. Dershowitz is held out to be a genius, but he spoke more like a layman than an attorney trying to get at the truth. For the most part, he criticized the law under which Baldwin is being tried.

Proper legal analysis always follows the same simple pattern. Determine the facts, or at least the allegations. Figure out what the applicable law is in order to see if there are legal issues, and write out articulated rules. Apply the rules to the facts. Derive conclusions.

Now you know how to practice law. Just fill in the blanks.

It’s not quite that easy, but that’s how it works.

Dershowitz didn’t follow any logical pattern in his video. He didn’t state the issues. He didn’t get into the facts except in a very superficial way, much as Joy Behar or Don Lemon might. He didn’t determine what sort of standards applied to Baldwin’s actions.

He did what my dad used to call “hip-shooting.” Real lawyering requires the meticulous, plodding construction of arguments. You don’t just show up in court and say you don’t like the law your client is charged with violating. You should be as certain as possible you’re on solid ground with regard to the law and the facts, because if you’re not, the judge or opposing counsel will show you where you screwed up, very quickly. Hip-shooting is negligence, and it leads to malpractice settlements.

Dershowitz does not like the New Mexico manslaughter statute, which is very simple. Basically, it says that if you kill someone else, and you do it without exercising due care, you are guilty of involuntary manslaughter. I could cut and paste it here, but it wouldn’t improve your understanding, because the law is just that simple.

This law is consistent with statutes in many, if not all states, as well as English common law, from which our system derives. There is nothing odd about it.

The trial court is not going to shoot down a statute consistent with hundreds of years of jurisprudence in many, many jurisdictions. That will never happen. Why did Dershowitz bring it up, then? No one goes into court and says, “I think you should acquit me because attempted murder isn’t a real crime,” or, “You should acquit me because conspiracy is protected under the First Amendment.” You try to get acquitted under the law. You don’t put the law on trial. Not a law as solid as this one.

Dershowitz correctly stated that Baldwin was accused of negligence, but then he made the strange assertion that negligence is a civil, not criminal matter. He said the remedy was to sue for monetary damages.

Can it be he is playing the part of defense attorney, not law professor? A defense attorney whose client is clearly guilty under the law will distract instead of sticking to law and facts. Maybe he thinks saying the law is unfair will inflame the hearts of the jurors. Maybe he thinks Baldwin’s attorneys will watch his video, and he is hoping they will repeat what he’s saying.

Doubtful, given that Baldwin must have extremely competent attorneys who have no interest in what law professors say on Youtube.

Maybe he’s not really brilliant and never was. Or perhaps age has dulled his wits, just like Rudy Giuliani’s.

Let’s talk about negligence.

The word “negligence” can apply to more than one concept. It can refer to the tort of negligence. It can also refer to a failure to exercise due care. Such a failure is one element of the tort of negligence.

Elements are things you have to prove in order to make a case. For example, in order to prove a charge of fraud, you have to prove someone made a misrepresentation. You also have to prove some other elements have been established. If one element is missing, no case. Your opposition only has to knock one leg out from under the table.

Depending on who you ask, the tort of negligence has 4 or 5 elements. I was taught it had 4. You have to show that the defendant owed the plaintiff a duty of care. You have to show he breached that duty in a negligent (not necessarily deliberate) manner. You have to show that the plaintiff was harmed. You have to show that the breach was the proximate cause of the harm.

Torts are generally civil matters. You can’t go to prison for losing a civil tort case.

The problem for Dershowitz is that there is such a thing as criminal negligence, as you will see if you Google the phrase “criminal negligence.” Build a bridge and fail to make sure the structure is sound, and you may find out what criminal negligence is.

Every lawyer, and probably most laymen, knows about criminal negligence. So why would Dershowitz suggest there is no such thing? Bizarre. Baldwin was already sued for negligence, and he settled, meaning he knew he would lose. The money has been paid. The civil remedy has been provided. Doesn’t mean he’s off the hook with regard to criminal conviction.

Dershowitz said Baldwin was being prosecuted because someone was harmed. He said no one would have been charged if the bullet had missed.

I don’t know what to make of that. It’s so wrong, it’s impossible to figure out why Dershowitz said it.

First of all, two people were hurt. Not only did Baldwin not miss; he pulled an Oswald, killing one person and injuring another with a single shot. Second, people get charged with criminal negligence all the time, in situations where no one was harmed. For example, you can be convicted of a crime if you store dynamite incorrectly, even if nothing happens.

Try taking a bag containing a gun through airport security. Doesn’t matter if you thought your wife checked the bag when she packed it.

It is true that Baldwin would have been guilty of a lesser offense had he missed, but he could still have been charged. Because Dershowitz did no research whatsoever, he doesn’t know what I know: New Mexico has a statute criminalizing negligent use of a firearm, and it does not require that harm be done in order to be triggered.

Here is some text from the statute: “endangering the safety of another by handling or using a firearm or other deadly weapon in a negligent manner.”

Bad lawyering, Dershowitz. Not just not-brilliant lawyering. Bad. Negligent.

I’ll be the lawyer now. Maybe I’m asking to be smacked down, in my long-retired state, but I’ll go ahead. No one reads this blog anyway.

Baldwin harmed someone, and he harmed her by pointing a loaded gun at her and pulling the trigger. The nonsense about the gun going off by itself is a ridiculous lie, and the damage done by the FBI test won’t mean anything to a jury that isn’t utterly stupid.

He was negligent. One element. He harmed someone, and his negligence was the proximate cause. Three elements. The only way he can get off is to go after the remaining element. He has to show he did not owe the deceased a duty of care. Someone owed her a duty of care, so he’ll have to find a patsy. Put simply, he will have to do what he has done all along: throw his friends under the bus.

Jury selection is a huge part of success at trial. Juries are often stupid, and they are always full of biased jurors. Baldwin paid a screaming fortune to hire at least one person who does nothing but choose jurors. I haven’t read that anywhere, but I know it’s true, because if his lawyers didn’t hire someone like that, they may have committed malpractice. They have huge financial resources, a lot is on the line, and every attorney knows you do whatever you can to get the best jury.

Maybe Baldwin has a jury so dumb or so far in the tank for him he will skate regardless of the law, but if he doesn’t, he will have a tough time convincing them it was okay to point a gun at another person and pull the trigger even if someone else was supposed to make it safe.

There was no need to point the gun at the victim. He could have pointed it in another direction. He could have used a rubber prop gun. He could have used his finger. He was just rehearsing.

There are 4 well-known rules of gun safety, and Baldwin violated every single one. I doubt Dershowitz knows these rules. He’s an elderly Jewish liberal who loves gun control. Does that excuse him? Let me ask you this: would a judge let it slide if Dershowitz handled the case and didn’t know the standard of care? Of course not. He would wonder where Dershowitz got his diploma.

When I say Dershowitz may be playing defense attorney, I’m trying to find a way to make sense of his poor analysis, based on the premise that he really is brilliant. I think I’m giving him too much credit. In his video, he admitted he doesn’t know much about guns. That means he was sloppy. A sharp lawyer playing defense, deliberately muddying the water with irrelevant remarks and outright misstatements, would still prepare.

I practiced with my dad, and he was an absolutely top notch attorney. They don’t get any better. He taught me to dot every i and cross every t. He would never have shown up in court without going over the applicable laws and standards letter by letter. He would never let himself be caught flatfooted because of laziness. I know how a sound legal analysis is done, and Dershowitz didn’t do one.

If there is no evidence I don’t know about, Baldwin doesn’t get a tee-ball jury, and the prosecutor does a halfway-decent job, Baldwin goes down. If there is blockbuster exculpatory evidence I don’t know about, it could be different. If the jury is in the tank, he walks. If the prosecutor blows it like Marcia Clarke blew it, he may walk. That sums up the likely outcomes and explanations.

I’m not predicting a conviction. Juries and judges are too crazy for anyone to predict. I’m just trying to explain the outcome, whatever it is, in advance.

Right now, Baldwin’s team is trying for a dismissal, claiming the prosecution withheld important evidence. The prosecution says it doesn’t matter because the evidence isn’t exculpatory. If it’s exculpatory (which it almost certainly is not), Baldwin could get a mistrial, and my understanding is that mistrials, although not dismissals, generally hurt the prosecution. I don’t see why Baldwin should get a dismissal, since the case can be retried and the evidence will be in the defense’s hands next time.

If there is a mistrial, it falls under the heading of the prosecution not doing a halfway-decent job. Baldwin’s team will probably do a fantastic job, because, sorry, they are not low-paid prosecutors of limited ability. A team of seriously skilled lawyers should catch every opportunity to help Baldwin, and undistinguished state employees can’t be blamed if they can’t keep up.

Failures to provide exculpatory evidence generally become issues on appeal, because when evidence is not timely provided at trial, defense attorneys usually don’t know about it until the fat lady has sung. In Baldwin’s case, the defense claims they found out about it at trial, later than they should have. A person not involved with the trial came forward.

In some cases, defendants have their convictions reversed because of withheld evidence. In others, the evidence isn’t important enough to help them. Baldwin can’t get a reversal because he hasn’t been convicted yet, and I assume he can’t get a dismissal, either, because the problem can be fixed during this trial, or, if a mistrial is declared, at the next trial.

Looks like the defense team is just throwing armloads of pasta at the fridge, roaring with fake indignation and exaggerated claims of irreparable harm, and seeing what sticks.

Whatever happens, I am very disappointed in Dershowitz. He seems to be an unusually fair man, but based on his video, I am starting to doubt his mental horsepower. I have read things written by truly brilliant people, and I have heard them speak, and he is not measuring up.

MORE

Well, what do you know? Baldwin is off the hook, permanently.

His attorneys filed a motion to dismiss, claiming not only that the prosecution had withheld some seemingly-unimportant (to me) rounds of ammunition from the defense, but that they had done it deliberately.

The judge said, “The state’s willful withholding of this information was intentional and deliberate. If this conduct does not rise to the level of bad faith, it certainly comes so near to bad faith as to show signs of scorching prejudice.”

She also said there was no way for the court to make it right.

I have to wonder if that is true, considering the fact that a mistrial could have been declared. The judge could be a Baldwin fan or a former public defender. Maybe the judge is not a fan of the prosecutor.

Whatever. There is no possibility he will be tried again, so this is the end.

I read Baldwin’s motion to dismiss, and the ammunition did not seem to have the potential to help him, but the judge saw it differently. I don’t see how any ammunition could assist him, given that he shot someone needlessly while violating every rule of gun safety. He was trying to use it to prove someone else was to blame for the loaded gun, but he still had several more levels of negligence he could not get past. He didn’t check the gun. He didn’t think about where he pointed it. He pulled the trigger while it was pointed at a person.

I suppose the judge must have felt that the defense should have been allowed to provide every available argument and let the jury sift through the smoke and mirrors.

It may be that the judge, a woman, has no idea what the basic rules of gun safety are. A man might have seen it differently.

I suspect it will turn out this outcome has more to do with the quality of the lawyers than with Baldwin’s guilt, which seems obvious. He was not proven innocent. He simply proved, in the eyes of the judge, that his rights had been violated so substantially there was no hope of a fair trial. If Baldwin’s lawyers had been prosecuting, I doubt they would have let this happen. They wouldn’t have risked keeping anything away from the defense.

I have mixed feelings. I didn’t want to see him go to prison, but I thought he should have shown some sign that the ordeal changed him. A conviction might have helped him learn humility, even if he won on appeal and never served a day. As it is, he may be encouraged to continue in pride and bullying.

Interestingly, Alan Dershowitz didn’t get into the question of Brady violations (withholding exculpatory evidence). I suppose you had to be close to the trial to see this coming.

Pistols with Stocks Clearly as Dangerous as Nuclear Weapons

The pistol brace ban is dead. Get ready for mass shootings in every Walmart and preschool in America. All is lost.

There I go, channeling Elizabeth Warren again.

For a long time, I’ve been following the pistol brace mess. A brace is a buttstock pretending to be something else, except for a few pistol braces that really are what they say they are. A real pistol brace lets a handicapped shooter use his wrist to support his gun. The pistol braces that drove the ban are just buttstocks trying to be cute. You can buy a short-barreled rifle which has no buttstock and is therefore legally sold as a pistol, and you can put a brace on it in order to be able to shoulder it.

Why would you do this?

Short-barreled rifles are, ridiculously, regulated by the BATF, under an outdated, Constitution-hostile, and absurd law called the National Firearms Act. Congress, incredibly, wanted to ban pistols, along with silencers and machine guns. They wanted to ban all firearms that were easily concealed, so they included shortened long guns. It was an astonishing assault on our civil rights, but for the most part, it worked.

In 1934, they managed to pass the act, and as a result, you can’t own a sawed-off shotgun or short rifle without applying to the feds, putting yourself on a list in DC, and paying $200. The fee has not changed since 1934, when you could buy your own ocean liner for $200. It was a lot of money. A web source puts it at about $4600 2024 dollars. This was supposed to be a de facto ban.

They were not able to ban pistols, but being incompetent and caring very little about the Bill of Rights, they left the stuff about short shotguns and rifles in the law. It shows how close we always are to losing everything. Government officials do not care about our rights very much. This law was passed in 1934, when America was a lot less crazy, and look what they did.

Is a short rifle more dangerous than a long one? Obviously not, but here we are.

Clever 2A people started selling pistol braces in order to get around the law, and for years, the BATF said it was okay. Then Biden got the BATF to change the rules. Then gun owners sued the BATF. The BATF just lost, and the new rule has been vacated nationwide Now you can have your pistol brace.

I see rumblings out there about the BATF continuing to fight, but as of today, you can have a braced “pistol” and not worry about being arrested. That’s good, because there are 10,000,000 in circulation. How many owners is that? Maybe 5,000,000? That’s a lot of prison construction. Prosecution was never really practical.

Now that braces are legal, I’ll just say it: I think they’re fantastic. A rifle is the best possible weapon to use to defend yourself, and in a confined space, a short rifle is king. Swinging a long barrel in a truck is not easy, and you could also have problems in your house.

For a figure in the general area of a thousand dollars, you can get a short AK-47-type rifle (“pistol”), a brace, and a laser. Put it by your bed, and you have an excellent home defense solution. You have 31 very powerful rounds ready to go, in a package which is easier to use than a long gun or ordinary pistol, and it is much, much safer than a pistol, because it’s hard to point it at yourself.

Pistols are not good weapons. They are compromise weapons. They’re like the tiny, fake spare tires carmakers use to cheat customers. You should only defend yourself with a pistol when there is some reason you can’t get ahold of a real gun. You will probaby miss the perp, and if you hit him, you will do less damage than a rifle would do. You will have fewer rounds on tap, and they are much more likely to be blocked by things like walls, furniture, and vests.

You want a projectile which is easy to aim, goes through lots of stuff, does terrible damage to people, and has lots of company. What you really want is for the police to do the shooting for you, facing the physical danger and tort liability, but they almost never make it in time.

Shortened rifles are called “SBR’s,” or “short-barreled rifles.” I call pistols with braces “LBP’s,” or “long-barreled pistols.”

I don’t think braces will be banned again any time during the next few years. Congress would have to do it, and I doubt a new law will find support. I think the federal courts are a dead end for the currently-vacated rule, because the final stop is our conservative Supreme Court.

I have a short AK, and I put what is supposed to be a very good flash hider on it, so a braced pistol will be my number one bedside companion, along with electronic earmuffs that block loud noises but amplify the sounds of a scared burglar trying to hide and ambush me.

This is all good news, but what about the restrictions on machine guns?

Bump stocks can’t be banned by the feds now, so that’s nice. The BATF lost another case. This doesn’t help people like me who live under state bans, but it might help some people. Bump stocks aren’t very accurate, so it’s not like you can go out and get real full-auto legally.

Full-auto guns are still regulated by the NFA, and they are banned by the Firearm Owners’ Protection Act (originally known as the Freedom is Slavery Act), which limits us to old, creaky guns made before May 19, 1986. This is not good, considering the current state of things.

First of all, all sorts of good citizens need full-auto weapons. A lot of people have special security needs. That is obvious. And they should not be limited to incredibly expensive vintage guns that will eventually fall apart.

Second, illegal machine guns are everywhere now, and they’re in the hands of awful people. They are extremely popular in ghettos, where non-blacks and conservatives are considered by many to be legitimate targets for gun crimes. As are blacks, now that I think about it. They make up most of the victims.

Right now, you can go to a website on the regular old Internet and order something called a Glock switch. This is a $20 item, more or less, which allows you to take a Glock or Glock clone and turn it into a select-fire weapon. You would think the feds would have made it impossible to sell these things online, but they have not. They can also be printed at home in plastic, and it is not illegal to own the files needed to print them.

Full-auto crime used to be rare, but it’s becoming common fast. You can easily find videos of stupid kids showing off their machine guns.

They say converted Glocks are hard to control, and I’m sure that’s true, but it’s possible to put contraptions on them to make them easier to hang onto, and even if they’re not all that accurate, how accurate do you have to be at 1200 rounds per second? You can fire two 15-round bursts in the general direction of someone you don’t like and have an excellent chance of hitting him and a 100% chance of forcing him to run off in a panic.

You can also put a longer barrel on a Glock. Long barrel, rifle stock, switch…party time.

Now any imbecile can have a machine gun, but for law-abiding people with a legitimate need to even up, they are unaffordable.

This could be a real problem as society continues to melt.

I don’t have any interest in full-auto guns, but as we descend into chaos, I might need some because of packs of punks roaming around with switched Glocks. Oh, well. BATF knows best. Sometimes you have to take one for the team, allowing yourself and your family to be murdered, robbed, and raped in the name of safe streets.

You can make an AK or AR full-auto very easily, so maybe I should not be concerned. New machine guns owned by civilians are not common now, but if we end up in a situation where people are more afraid of each other than the BATF, conversions will be done nationwide at a rapid rate, as they have already been done in ghettos.

At that point, I would really rather be among the raptured. This place is bad enough as it is. Even if your side wins, living in a constant state of guerrilla warfare is a dreadful prospect. Ask anyone who makes under $200,000 per year and lives in a blue county.

I think the Supreme Court should strike down much of the NFA and FOPA. It’s hard for me to believe the Founding Fathers wanted us to be sitting ducks or that the NFA and FOPA are completely consistent with the Bill of Rights. They certainly go against good public policy.

Our nation started with militias, and a militia armed with substandard weapons is a massacre waiting to happen. One likely reason militias are mentioned in the Second Amendment is to make sure effective weapons, not puny ones, are made available to citizens before the need for militias arises. Militias are armed with privately-owned weapons held by citizens before the action starts. A militia armed with blue-state weapons will have serious problems.

We will almost certainly put together many, many militias before long, and thanks to bad legislation, we will be farther behind than we should be.

Leftists are wrong to think short barrels will cause pandemonium, but arming criminals and disarming the rest of us will have consequences.

Were they Sarcastic When they Coined the Term?

Coronavirus keeps getting more interesting.

Certain facts are now known and beyond dispute.

1. The evidence overwhelmingly points to a man-made virus released accidentally from a Wuhan lab. It’s not proven, because it’s unprovable, but our universities teach “facts” that have a lot less support.

2. The vaccines didn’t prevent nearly everyone on Earth from getting infected, so they weren’t very effective at slowing transmission.

3. The conventional vaccines cause dangerous blood clots in some people. Our medical establishment admits this and has placed restrictions on these vaccines.

4. The mRNA vaccines are associated with higher rates of myocarditis and pericarditis, which kill some people.

5. Masks work so poorly they are virtually useless.

6. Covid can’t produce serious health problems in the vast majority of human beings.

7. Covid is nearly risk-free for minors.

8. Fauci made up the oppressive social-distancing rules based on the general idea that the disease might spread more slowly if people stood farther apart. He did not have science to back him up.

9. Natural immunity is exactly the same as vaccine immunity, except for the lower risks of blood clots, myocarditis, and pericarditis.

10. Ivermectin, which was developed for humans, is harmless when the dosage is correct, even if you take it in veterinary form. The veterinary stuff is exactly the same, except it has edible goo added to it to make it taste better to horses. You can eat anything a horse can eat. Leftists told us it was only safe for animals.

There is a new vaccine coming because the establishment thinks a new variant is going to spread. The new vaccine is mRNA-based. I’m not taking it. Are you? I have done a lot of stupid things in my life, but I have never knowingly taken an mRNA vaccine.

People like Fauci would force us to take it if they could. He has been recorded talking about coercing people, so his position is not subject to reasonable debate. Given the problems with the existing vaccines and his reputation, it will not be possible to force us to take it. Thank goodness for that.

Even now, leftists are snotty and irrational about covid. I just had two leftists say insulting and ignorant things to me because I said I was going to skip the myocarditis this time around, meaning I would not take the new shot.

One of them questioned the heart-disease link as though it were an Infowars theory. That’s amazing. Go Google. The establishment itself openly admits the problem exists. How can anyone not have noticed? You really have to bury your head in the sand to miss things like this.

Another one suggested I was “spewing BS.”

I get it. You think capitalism is bad. You don’t like conservatives. You’re against people who believe the Bible because you think Christianity retards progress toward a man-made utopia. Why should that have anything to do with drawing conclusions about coronavirus? Where is the link?

Another guy, who was not snotty, said the risk of heart problems was lower than his risk of having problems with covid.

First of all, I question that. Just about everyone on Earth has had covid several times. If you’re going to have severe symptoms, you should know it by now. Second, I do not get severe symptoms. To me, covid is like a cold, with a few extra symptoms that don’t amount to big problems.

I had covid in 2021 when I went on a Nile cruise. I can’t prove it, but I had typical symptoms for covid. My wife and I pranced around the pyramids and demonic temples in the burning sun, in heat approaching 115°. I blew my nose a lot, but I was fine. Never slowed down. I had to slow down for her.

I had covid in Turkey. I had an hour or so of mild nausea, and I felt like I had a little cold. Then I was fine. Never stopped walking several miles a day.

My worst episode was my first, in early 2020. I had conjunctivitis in one eye. I threw up exactly 4 times and then stopped. I had diarrhea for a few hours. I had a mild sore throat. I had chills for one night, but they weren’t bad. I actually enjoyed it. I turned up the electric blanket.

What purpose will it serve if I get vaccinated again? I may risk dying from cardiac arrest. The vaccine will not prevent me from getting sick. If I get sick without the vaccine, I won’t be very ill. If I get sick after vaccination, it probably won’t be much different.

“You’ll be less likely to infect other people.”

You know what? If you’re one of the unfortunate people who get severe covid, you should stay home. I don’t mean social distancing. I mean quarantine. Nothing else will prevent you from catching the disease. The shots might reduce your symptoms, so go ahead and get them. But don’t tell me to risk my life for you, even if the risk is small. You WILL be exposed to covid over and over for the rest of your life, even if they vaccinate us every day, so grow up and take measures that work instead of living in a fantasy world where vaccines can save you.

Maybe the caregivers who slide food through the slot in your door should take shots. Maybe it will result in some small mitigation of risk.

It is possible to isolate yourself and others from a virus effectively if you’re serious. Maybe not if you’re a Wuhan scientist, but it’s possible for the rest of us.

Very few people who are actually allowed to walk around in public are going to take the new shots, so if you think it will decrease your exposure odds if I take them, you must be thick. If you and I are in the same Walmart, and there are 500 people there, and only 30 have been vaccinated, the figure might as well be zero.

I, quite literally, can do nothing whatsoever to help you. There is no way I can reduce your risk of dying or suffering permanent damage.

I still see people with masks sometimes. Not just fat old people, but thin young people. What’s the story? Do they have AIDS? Are they transplant recipients? Maybe they’re just unable to admit they’re wrong.

There are at least two Chinese restaurants near me with plastic curtains between the customers and staffs. I went to China and didn’t see that. I was in Hong Kong. Is it a mainland fad?

Leftists are much more afraid of death than Christians. This is one aspect of the problem. I see death as a ticket to heaven, where there will be no leftists. They have no idea what happens after death. They think prolonging life is as important a goal as there is. Except for babies and healthy depressed people who want doctors to kill them. Leftists fear death and love abortion and euthanasia. That’s weird.

Leftists are terrified of their own deaths but not yours.

I still remember a wonderful statistic from the pandemic hysteria. When polled as to how likely covid was to kill an infected person, the average figure they gave was 40%. Can you imagine what the world would look like if that were true? Around three billion people would have disappeared by now. We’d all be rich, just like people who survived the Black Death.

They kept yammering that we should follow THE SCIENCE, which said the risk of death was way below 1%. How could they miss that?

I shouldn’t ask. Without cognitive dissonance, there could be no leftism. And leftists are heavily influenced by demons of delusion. They can believe nearly any absurdity.

Did I write “nearly”? I should correct that.

I listed facts above, but there is also anecdotal stuff out there.

When it comes to covid, leftists love to shout “anecdotal,” because they think it means “false.” Boy, is that crazy. If it weren’t for anecdotal data, most of modern medicine would not exist. Just about all known health problems began to be recognized because of rumors and stories, and many of history’s most important medicines became popular because people told each other they worked, without studies.

ANECDOTALLY, doctors are saying cancers among young people have increased a lot. Old-people cancers like colon cancer. We’re hearing about this at about the same time we’re hearing that the mRNA vaccines were contaminated in ways that could cause cancer.

ANECDOTALLY, we are hearing a lot of tales about young people who dropped dead. Athletes, especially. As though they had some kind of unusual heart problems rarely seen before 2020. Hmm.

Back when the leftist CCP was hiding coronavirus, evidence of the disease was strictly anecdotal in the West and much of China. It had to be anecdotal, because no one in the Chinese government or medical establishment was allowed to publish facts we now know to be true.

Why am I writing this? I’m yelling into a hole again. Screaming at fence posts. No one’s mind will be changed. Things won’t change in the least. Those who know I’m right already know, and the others are immune to correction.

I admit, reinforcing the truth in the minds of people who are resisting propaganda has value.

What a time we live in. We went through several years of the most amazing, flagrant, unopposed censorship in American history. People were fired from jobs unrelated to healthcare for questioning Fauci. The socials deleted our posts and banned us. A president coerced them to ramp it up, and there were no consequences. Doctors have had their credentials threatened.

Things have only improved slightly.

I can blog here and say anything, but Facebook reduces people like me to shooting blanks. You write a post, and then people tell you they can’t see it. Youtube still censors people. The more popular you are, the more they censor you. I’m unpopular, but my comments get deleted all the time, with no explanation at all. They don’t even tell me which comments they deleted.

We keep lumbering along like happy cows. Everything is okay as long as there is enough grass right in front of us. In 1784, patriotic mobs with fresh scars and stumps would have protested the First Amendment deniers and driven them from their jobs. They would have treated them the way modern First Amendment deniers treat rational people.

America is an apartheid state. No, it’s not as bad as the old South Africa, but conservatives and Christians are oppressed by leftists, who are privileged. They sue and prosecute our candidates and government officials unjustly. They imprison conservative rioters and reward leftists. They drove us out of the arts and journalism. They drove us out of academia. They get us fired from jobs. They ban and shadowban us, and they delete what we say on the web. All so they can promote Satanic foolishness and error without opposition.

I guess I’ve written enough. I pray for the rapture every day. Human beings are not going to fix the world. Voting won’t help much. Armed resistance is an unbelievably bad idea that would make us like our oppressors.

Whatever. I’m not taking any more shots I don’t trust. And my choice doesn’t make me more likely to die.

Call me Mr. Shush

Loving Those Common-Sense Gun Laws

I don’t know if I should write about this, but common sense has never been my long suit, and I have already been banned by the DoD and Communist China, so I know it’s too late to worry about being on lists: I bought a couple of silencers.

I didn’t bother paying for tax stamps. I just went on Aliexpress and clicked a few buttons. I also ordered some grenades. The neighbors throw loud parties.

Of COURSE I paid for tax stamps. Put down your car keys, agents. I’m glad I paid. I think it’s wonderful that I was forced to pay $400 for permits for two completely harmless safety devices that are available for around $150, without permits, in gunphobic Western Europe.

It’s pointless to worry about your silencer finding its way onto a list, because they won’t let you have it until it’s on one list and the feds have tried to get you on another. The BATF knows you have the silencer, and just to be pure jerks, they notify your local sheriff. No state requires your sheriff’s consent for you to have a silencer.

The joke is on the BATF. If they think Sheriff Billy Woods is keeping a gun registry, they don’t know him very well. He encourages citizens to shoot burglars, and he made his department start giving civilians shooting classes.

So why did I buy silencers? Obviously, because I want to sneak into the houses of innocent people and kill them without making a sound.

Oops; sorry. I think I was channeling Elizabeth Warren or some other gun ignoramus. If you want to kill people quietly, a suppressed firearm is not going to work.

Should people be disturbed that I was banned by the DoD of the United States of America AND Communist China? Is anyone bothered by the fact that our military complex is just as threatened by my blog as a regime that has done things like forced abortion and the Cultural Revolution? Who will ban me next? North Korea? Andrew Tate?

As far as I know, the first time I heard a “silenced” weapon was in 2020, at a precision rifle class. I was “that guy.” Everyone else had at least a Ruger Precision Rifle, and most had Nightforce scopes. I showed up with a Leupold varmint scope in MOA and an LR-308 with a mil-spec trigger. A guy down the row from me asked if it was deer season.

A mil-spec trigger is the worst possible trigger you can manufacture for our military and expect to be paid for it. It will not provide optimal results in precision shooting. A good precision rifle will have something better. I believe I paid $200 for my only really good trigger.

Back when I took my class, a Ruger Precision Rifle, or RPR, was THE way to creep into precision rifle from the bottom. They exploded onto the market for something like $900. That was an insane bargain. You can spend up to, I would guess, infinity on a good rifle if you want to. You can have one built. You can buy a high-end gun already made. Grabbing a $900 gun and heading straight to the range was a big deal when the RPR came out.

Some guys in my class had weird guns you can’t just snag at Bass Pro on the way home from work. They had weird calibers, too. They had .338 Lapua and .300 Win Mag.

And they had silencers.

Not everyone had a silencer. Some just had brakes. The brakes were annoying, because if you’re next to a guy with a brake, it may redirect the blast from the front of the gun to your location.

The “silenced” guns were surprisingly loud. I knew not to expect the ridiculous “pyoonk pyoonk” sounds I had heard in movies, but these things sounded like rifles. If someone were shooting a suppressed 6.5 Creedmoor in my pasture right now, I would hear it through my double-paned windows.

I don’t know how moviemakers make those funny fake silencer sounds. They always sound exactly the same. Did someone record a cat sneezing in 1960? Weird.

People should be astonished that in 2024, there are still legislators stupid enough to think silencers are really silencers. If they’re that wrong about silencers, imagine how wrong they are about everything else. They’re not even trying.

Well. I guess you already know how wrong they are about everything else.

If you don’t hate the BATF, I have a story that will change your mind. One of my instructors told it. He was a military veteran who had, presumably, killed a lot of terrorists, risking his life for you and me. He was teaching a class. A BATF agent was taking the course. He saw the instructor’s silencer, and he demanded, right then and there, to see his paperwork. If the instructor had gotten lazy and left it at his house, he would have had to abandon the course and go for a drive. The law requires you to present your papers to the BATF on demand.

I got myself a silencer for a Ruger Charger pistol, which is more like a rifle than most pistols. It shoots .22LR. Tons of fun. Very short and handy. I put a Sig red dot on it. I don’t think I could hit a squirrel with it with sufficient accuracy to be humane, but it is the ultimate plinking pistol. Buy a 12-pack of store brand diet soda, toss the cans in your yard, step back 75 feet, and go to town. Can’t beat it.

I can’t remember why I chose to start with .22LR. A .22 is not very loud to begin with. But it sounded like fun, and it made for a cool utility cart gun. It was also a lot cheaper than a .308 can.

We silencer experts call silencers “cans.” Try to keep up with the cool kids.

Here’s something crazy: the BATF has started speeding up the approval process. Under Biden, no less. What on Earth is happening? Someone call Bill Murray and see if cats are living together with dogs.

Here I am, at the beginning of the apocalypse, still making apocalypse jokes.

It hasn’t been long since they were telling us to expect a silencer application to take at least 11 months. Here’s the current low figure: two days.

Two. Days.

How is that possible? The BATF is known to be hostile to gun rights, and the man who runs it is an old Jewish liberal who can’t tell one end of a pistol from the other. On the other hand, I’m sure they like money. Maybe they’re like the Patent and Trademark Office, which gets to keep whatever you send it. Faster processing equals increased consumer interest.

My .22 application has been approved, and by the time the can gets here, the process will have taken about 7 months. I decided to go for a .308 silencer as well. I hope it’s faster.

The company I used told me individual applications are typically very fast now, but gun-trust applications can still take 4 months.

What is a gun trust? I don’t really understand it because I don’t care enough to study, but more or less, you pretend you’re an organization, and the organization owns the silencer. This makes it easier to allow other people to use the silencer and receive it when you die. Something like that. I did a trust. I guess I should not have, but I don’t want my wife to have problems with her suddenly-illegal silencers if I get struck by lightning or offer to testify against Boeing.

I’ve learned a lot of things about silencers. One important thing: if you have a lot of calibers, get a .308 silencer. You can use it for anything down to .17 HMR. I’m not sure why anyone buys a .223 silencer. The .22LR silencer makes some sense, because it’s very small and relatively cheap.

Sooner or later, I plan to shoot big guns again. I do not trust ear plugs and muffs. I don’t think they work very well. I think most gun owners are poorly educated about such things. If your ear protection is rated at -30 dB when used perfectly, and your gun’s report is 40 dB past the safe zone, maybe you’re fooling yourself.

Whatever hearing I still have, I would like to keep, even though I am married.

I’m paying a screaming fortune for these things. That’s a shame, and Democrats should be held accountable for denying people protection at a reasonable cost. I thought about it, and I decided it was better to get gypped than to go deaf.

In some places in Europe, silencers are not merely legal; they are mandatory. Leftists think Western Europe is paradise. They think we should turn America into a big IKEA. If Europe is perfect, how can Europe be wrong about hearing safety?

The literature on the .308 can I ordered says it suppresses .308 down to ear-safe levels. I find that hard to believe, based on what I’ve heard with my own ears. I hope it’s true, but even if it isn’t, it should make my other protection do a much better job.

It’s amazing, the shooting technology we have now. I’m an amateur bozo shooter, but with my low-end precision rifle, I can shoot into 1/2″, center to center, all day at 100 yards on a reasonably calm day. The triggers, barrels, and cartridges are that good. Not two inches. Not one inch. Half an inch. Makes me wonder what a really good shooter with better stuff can do.

He can’t shrink my groups by more than half an inch. That’s for sure.

To do better at longer distances, you need more than good equipment. Past 100 yards, you need to be able to deal with things like wind and heat mirage and so on. I’m a rock star at 100 yards. Don’t ask me about 500.

The new cans will suppress every rifle caliber I shoot. I’ll have to think about getting some barrels threaded, though, because not every barrel I have is silencer-ready.

If you’ve been wanting a silencer, this may be a good time to get one. And the sooner you do, the less likely you are to have hearing trouble.

New Display Opens at the Brooklyn Museum

Enjoy the Rage of the Marginalized

Looks like something informative has taken place in New York City.

There is an art museum in Brooklyn, aptly named the Brooklyn Museum. I took a look at the website, and it appears to be a plain old art museum. Not a museum of Jewish or Holocaust art. Not involved with Israel or Judaism. But the lady in charge, one Anne Pasternak, lives in an apartment building with about 100 residents. Based on what I see on the web, it looks like many or all of the residents are Jewish.

I haven’t found any connection between Pasternak, the museum, the apartment building, or its residents with Israel or the IDF.

A bunch of pro-Hamas (not just pro-Palestine or anti-Israel or anti-IDF or anti-war) criminals have defaced Pasternak’s apartment building with antisemitic graffiti in red paint, calling her a white supremacist Zionist and saying she has blood on her hands. They sprayed a red triangle on the building. Hamas uses red triangles to label locations that will be targeted for violence, so it’s fair to say Pasternak and her neighbors have been threatened with death.

They also defaced art at the museum.

Pasternak is way out on the left. I could tell you that without Googling, because she is a Jewish female New Yorker who runs an art museum in a heavily-Jewish area. I don’t have to check. Any conservative or centrist who applied to run that place would be blackballed instantly. But I did Google, and yes, she is out there on the left. So she has been targeted by people who are supposed to be her friends.

The great thing about this act of terrorism–and that’s what it is, because there is a murder threat–is that it tells the world so much.

As some Babylon Bee character said the other day, hating Jews is now cool. That is not an exaggeration. The people who decide what “cool” is–leftists–have put antisemitism and Hamas on the cool list. So burning babies on purpose and raping women while mutilating them are pretty darn cool.

Jew-hating is now accepted by a very large percentage of Americans, and they are tormenting Jews in the very places where Jews felt most safe and powerful. The Brooklyn Museum terrorism exposes the problem. The potential murderers are going after people whose only crime is EXISTENCE. As Jews. You don’t have to be in the Israeli government or the IDF. You don’t have to be an Israeli. You don’t have to support the war on Hamas openly. You just have to do two things: 1. be Jewish, and 2. exist. For these crimes, in the United States of America, in Brooklyn, you are considered fair game by terrorists.

Meanwhile, most American Jews continue to support the two-state solution. Many are on the side of Hamas. Most are likely to think Republican Christians are their worst enemies, even though we are the only reason America hasn’t turned on Israel. An overwhelming majority are in love with gun control, which has left many disarmed in the face of leftist/Muslim aggression.

“Two-state solution.” “Final Solution.” Suddenly, the similarity strikes me. What are we trying to solve? Obvious. The Jewish Question. It’s back.

Nothing has changed. The cancer just went into remission for a while.

There is no Jewish Question. Nothing needs to be done to protect the world from Jews. Their existence is not a pandemic or a problem. But the quest for the Final Solution has been revived anyway.

I feel like I’m yelling down a hole. Not many people read this blog, many who read what I’m writing will dismiss it because of their groundless biases, and people like me will never have platforms as big as the ones the Jew-haters have. I’m not going to change anything. Why do I even write about this? It just sets me and my wife apart as future targets.

People say Donald Trump was convicted for falsifying records in furtherance of a crime which has never been named. Similarly, Jews have been convicted of crimes that have not been named, because they do not exist. I guess they’re Jewing. That’s what we should call it. Jewing. Conspiracy to commit Jewing. Suborning Jewing. Incitement to Jew.

Any Jew who thinks appeasement is possible is insane. It was never possible. How long have Jews been trying it? Centuries. If it was going to work, we would know by now. You can’t make people happy when they think your existence is a crime.

State worship is a huge problem among Jews. They expect gentile governments to save them. I wonder how they can feel that way, given the success gentile governments have had in preventing them from multiplying. Pharaoh. Haman. Nebuchadnezzar. Hitler. Who has done them as much harm as gentile governments? If not for gentile governments, there would probably be half a billion Jews instead of fewer than 20 million.

What’s happening worldwide is a lot like what happened in the USSR. Jews were big factors in deposing the Czar, getting his family slaughtered, and turning a big piece of Russia and Asia into a communist state they thought would solve all their problems. Then the USSR, of which they had made themselves defenseless captives, turned on them. Same thing is happening with the global left. Jews were instrumental in setting it up, and now it is trying to annihilate them. Literally. Reduce them to nothingness.

The people who need weapons most are among the most vocal in calling for their own disarmament. How would you like to be a rabbi who dresses traditionally and live in Brooklyn right now without a gun? That must be fun. I suppose Jews will come up with a novel plan: they’ll call on our gentile government to protect them.

It will get worse, and I hope I am not on Earth to see it. A small percentage of Jews will accept Yeshua, have their blinders removed, and knock off their suicidal behavior. But most will be vulnerable.

God has said that the entire world will turn against Israel, and it looks like it’s happening right now. Biden is doing terrible dishonest things to rein in Israel’s efforts to protect itself from an existential threat, and America is supposed to be Israel’s shield. If we give up on Israel, the world gives up. Are we there?

I was thinking it was a good thing to see Jew-hatred exposed for what it is, but maybe it isn’t, because almost no one will learn from it or make any changes to respond to it. People who point the problem out are like the mythical figure Cassandra, who always prophesied truthfully but was never believed.

Should I even publish this? I don’t know. Here I go.

Hunter Biden Finally Succeeds in Catching a Felony

Years of Hard Work and Consistency Pay Off

Hunter Biden has been convicted of three felonies. The details are not important. He was habitually on drugs, and he lied in order get a lame Colt revolver. He got burned twice lying and once for possessing the gun.

So will gun people celebrate today, since nearly all of them are conservative? If so, I have not seen it yet. I checked one of the big gun forums.

I think most of us feel some sympathy for anyone convicted of a gun crime involving something like possession or skirting background-check laws. If Biden had used the gun in a violent crime, gun people would surely be happier about his fate.

This may sound like a weird question, but should we really be taking 2A rights away from everyone who uses illegal drugs or has an addiction? Because over 1/6 of us fall into that category. If you smoke or otherwise ingest weed without a prescription, you are breaking federal law. If you have a prescription and are addicted, which does happen regardless of what goofy libertarians claim, you are not breaking the law, but you still fall under the federal firearms prohibition.

What percentage of gun owners are alcoholics? Not zero or anything close to it, believe me.

Hunter Thompson was an extreme case of alcoholism and drug abuse, and he had all sorts of guns, which he used in the open, on video. No one cared, even when he shot the roof of his head out a few feet from his 6-year-old grandson. Why is that? Probably because no one thought he would ever shoot another person.

Did anyone seriously think the other Hunter would shoot anyone? No. Be serious.

If the prohibition’s motivation makes sense, it must be to keep guns away from junkies, street crackheads, and people who get dangerously drunk. I doubt it was drafted in order to keep guns away from Drew Barrymore and Robert Downey, Jr. Or Chevy Chase. Or Betty Ford or Kitty Dukakis.

I don’t think Biden’s addiction or even his generally bad personality inclined him to physically harm people with guns.

Is it bad that he lied on a federal form? Well, yes, but who has never lied to the government? Most lies told to the government are trivial, but lying to Uncle Sam is still against the law in many cases, and surely some decent people who will read this blog post are guilty.

Sometimes government forms are so badly conceived, they make it impossible to squeeze the truth into them. There are forms that only offer options, that, for many people, are all untrue. If you sign one after saying something not quite true, which you know to be inconsequential and irrelevant, should you be charged with perjury?

The other day I lied to an insurance company, sort of. They wanted to know how long I had been with my previous insurer. I wasn’t sure, and my insurance documents didn’t say, but I had to write something if I wanted a quote, so I made my best guess. That’s kind of a lie. Who cares? My record is excellent. I’m not trying to convince them I’m a safer driver than I am. Did I commit fraud?

They also wanted to know the mileage of my cars. I knew one of them, but I didn’t feel like walking out to check the other. I knew the figure to within three digits, but I wasn’t sure about the other two, so I guessed. Turns out I was within 10 miles, but I was wrong. Should they cancel my policy if the actual mileage was 45,678 and I said it was 45,687? They shouldn’t, and they wouldn’t. If I called right now and confessed, they would laugh at me.

If you have a normal-sized social circle, and you’re conservative, you definitely know someone who lied on a Form 4473. You may know their identities. Run to the phone now and turn them in.

I guess at my weight when I fill out 4473’s. No gun shop has a scale. Bring out the cuffs.

Lying about something which is clearly very important is different. Form 4473 requires you to tell whether you’re a citizen. It requires you to say whether you’re making a straw purchase. If you lie about the big things, you should be prosecuted. But lying about being a rich white-collar cokehead whose life consists of using hotel pool slides naked with hookers…I would be happy if all he got was a fine. He does deserve some punishment, simply for being an entitled creep about the whole thing. Fine him $5000 and make him write, “Hunter is a jerk,” 100 times on the blackboard.

I’m more concerned about him selling his dad’s influence to people. It sure looks like he did that in collusion with his dad and his uncle. For activities like that, all three should go to prison.

I don’t like him lying to Congress about important things related to bribery and our national security. He should answer for that.

If he were a street crackhead, running around shoving guns into people’s faces, I would understand the importance of keeping him disarmed, but I think that kind of behavior is covered by other form questions.

It’s amazing how unreasonable gun laws can be. Going to DC with a suitcase that has a misplaced and empty 15-round magazine under the lining can get you prison time. Having a short barrel on an unregistered rifle can get you prison time. A short-barreled rifle is not a particularly dangerous weapon. Having an AK with a magazine that has a European baseplate instead of one made in the US can be a felony.

Liberal spinmasters are in a tough spot now. Do they rail against the politically-motivated persecution of Hunter Biden by his father’s Democrat-dominated DOJ, or do they stand up, as usual, for unreasonable gun control that is inconsistent with the Bill of Rights?

Maybe this will be one of the straws that breaks Joe Biden’s back. Many in his party are dying to bolt and cut their losses. It would be great for them to cut Hunter loose, let him drown, stop making excuses for his dad, and try to find someone to take Joe’s place. It’s going to get worse. Hunter has more trials ahead, and he will be convicted again because he breaks laws with the same kind of immortality complex we see in teenage drivers.

Personally, I’m amazed that Hunter got away with referring to himself and his frat-bro buddies as “Aryan godlike men.” The implicit racism is off the charts. It’s not just antisemitic. It’s anti-every-nonwhite-race. It comes from the very heart of white supremacy. Real white supremacy. Not the imaginary white supremacy we keep hearing about. Comparing Northern European men to gods is about as bad as it gets. In Hunter’s mind, to be white and Northern European is to look like God. That should have turned leftists against him forever.

What do I think will happen to Hunter? I think he’ll get a little prison time, if his appeal fails. Looking around the web, I see that the feds do take Form 4473 seriously when it comes to sentencing. And the DOJ and the judge will have to think about their reputations, as the judge (but not the DOJ) did when rejecting Biden’s ridiculous sweetheart plea.

I think his big problems will come later, when he is convicted of other crimes involving dishonesty. I’m not a criminal attorney, so I don’t know, but I would guess that any felony conviction involving flagrant dishonesty would affect sentencing in any felony of the same fundamental nature. Just a guess.

You only get to be a first-time offender once.

Whether Hunter is being treated fairly or not, I’m getting tired of America’s new obsession with sending prosecutors after people connected to politics. Seems like everyone is going to be indicted or impeached eventually. Some prosecutions are necessary, but I feel like we’re headed for a system in which corrupt private attorneys, prosecutors, judges, juries, and impeachment committees, not the ballot box, decide who rules. Instead of democracy, we’ll have what some have termed “judocracy.”

When that happens, goodbye, GOP. Boxes full of leftist morons will put us all in the hoosegow.

It’s all part of the apocalypse. Life will continue to make less and less sense. Things that shouldn’t happen at all will be the rule, not the exception.

It would be great if God would rapture us before my next American Express payment.

The Family Home as Gauntlet

Life is Never Childproof

My wife and I have been talking about raising children.

One issue that came up was the nature of the property where we live. It’s mostly pasture and forest. I have a house and a workshop, and the rest of the property is full of things like nettles, poison ivy, blackberry briars, holes, and snakes. The house itself has no bedrooms for children on the first floor. We live on a private road that opens onto a two-lane highway with a 55-mph speed limit, so opportunities for riding a bike are not good, and the nearest house is probably 250 yards away.

I’m not sure what to do about the house.

We have two stairways. One is carpeted. The other is hard oak. If the kids live upstairs, what are we supposed to do to protect them?

When I was a kid, my grandparents had a two-story house. They moved into another two-story house when I was about 5. The second house had a set of steep concrete steps covered in thin, hard vinyl.

I never saw a baby gate until I was an adult. I don’t know if they existed. My grandparents had 8 grandchildren, and none of us ever fell down the steps or came close to it. Neither did my grandparents. Nobody did.

The cabinets had no childproofing. I used to play inside them. Whatever chemicals were in the house were available to all. The guns were not locked up.

I have never known anyone except me who had a poison scare as a child. I sampled some rat poison once, and nothing happened. They sent me home from the ER without doing anything for me.

I have never lived in a modern baby-safe house. I don’t even know what the rules are.

I have never known anyone who fell down the stairs as a child (or adult) and had an injury of any kind. Does that mean the concerns are overblown?

I don’t remember much of anything that happened before I was three. My dad bought a house when I was that age. It was one house over from a corner, and the street intersecting our street was somewhat busy. A block to the east, there was a big lot which was often flooded, and there were snakes.

My friends and I used to walk out the door early in the day and spend our time running around like wild Indians. We didn’t cross the busy street, but we could walk a block or two in the other direction, all by ourselves. No one cared. No one was afraid grown men would grab us and have sex with us.

We didn’t know what homosexuality was, and we didn’t know what sex was.

We built forts in the swamp area. We used to have wars. We would chase each other around and hit each other with sticks and branches. Houses went up sometimes, and we played on the construction sites. It was understood that the big sand piles were there for our amusement. I was probably in junior high before I realized people weren’t supposed to go onto other people’s property and play in their unfinished houses.

We played with what are now known as war toys. My parents got me a plastic machine gun and a plastic battleship. We always had cap pistols. I had boots and a cowboy hat. We played cowboys and Indians, and no one ever questioned the notion that the Indians were bad and had to be shot. Sorry about that. We learned from Hollywood, which is always a stupid idea.

No one I grew up with ever committed a gun crime. I did throw a knife at my sister when I was a kid, but most people would have done the same thing eventually. She was special. My gentle 103-pound mother went at her with both fists.

When I used to visit my grandparents, my grandfather would put his grandchildren in the back of a pickup and drive us around on mountain roads at up to 80 mph. We loved it. We never died. I was his favorite, and he used to let me “help” him on his farms. He would sit me on the fender of his tractor while he raked or mowed, and he would also let me steer. If I had fallen off the front of the fender, I would have gone under the rear tire.

We used to shoot together. I never had a lesson in gun safety. I think I was expected to be smart enough not to shoot anyone.

He taught my aunt to swim by throwing her in a river.

Kids were allowed to sit anywhere they wanted in cars. My father used to put me on his lap and let me steer. I sat in the front seat like other human beings. We had a station wagon, and I liked riding in “the very back,” next to the rear window. In sedans and coupes, there were “parcel shelves” against the rear windows. Flat places big enough for kids to lie down in. And we did. Sometimes we had to move the little air-freshener dogs with the bobbing heads.

There were no such things as baby seats.

When we got bicycles, we rode on the streets. There were no helmets. I knew one person who got hurt. He was a teenager who decided to ride down from the peak of Miami’s 79th Street Causeway bridge at top speed. He rode on a narrow sidewalk, and he lost control and hit a sign with his face. He ended up with dentures. A helmet wouldn’t have helped.

We didn’t wear knee or elbow pads. Sometimes we rode barefoot, which was really dumb. I tore half the nail off my big toe that way.

My elementary school was a mile from my house, and my junior high was half a mile farther away. I used to walk and ride to school. Not always, but sometimes. So did my friends. The whole time I lived in that area, I heard about one kid getting hit by a car.

It was bad. A teenaged girl with no license spread him out on the asphalt like chicken salad. There were big stains. We were told his brains were splattered. But the rest of us got by without school zones.

At phys. ed. class, we were told to climb ropes to the top, or maybe 15 feet, above hard-packed ground. I was the kid who could never figure out how to climb the rope, but others made it. At playgrounds, we had merry-go-rounds, and naturally, we got them going at top speed and jumped off. We had see-saws, and we used to do things like jumping off while the other kid was up in the air.

I was probably 10 when I got my first pocket knife, and I got my first rifle at 12. No one thought it was weird to let me have these things. My best friend was a year older, and he was shooting deer and antelope.

My parents thought it was okay to buy me slingshots. Two neighboring kids had bows.

On Halloween, we went out without adult supervision, even though our mothers worried about us and believed legends about razors and drugs in apples and candy.

We always threw the apples out anyway. It was so unfair; giving us fruit. We got really angry at people who gave us things they knew we didn’t like.

Today, it seems like very few kids participate in Halloween. It seems like it’s more of an adult holiday. Adults go to parties and get high and drunk, and as a female comedian said, the women only have one costume: “It’s a slut.”

“Sexy vampire.” “Sexy nurse.” “Sexy witch.” “Sexy Disney character.” “Sexy nun.” Plain old whore. That about covers it.

When kids go out now, they form little squads behind adults with flashlights, they go to a few houses on prearranged routes, where they only see the same parents they see all the time, and they go home. Halloween was never really dangerous, but this is where we are.

Halloween is a Satanic holiday. It’s huge with the witches. That’s the reason to stay home and dress normally. The razor blades and drugs are mythical.

If your parents let you did things leftists from up north thought were unsafe, or they slapped or spanked you, leftists could not do anything about it. There were no powerful agencies roaming around taking children away from old-fashioned parents. If your parents took you to the emergency room with bruises, the doctors never called anyone to interrogate you and have your kids carted off to scary facilities where bullying and sodomy took place.

It must be true that kids used to have more accidents. Surely modern practices have made some difference. I’m sure government intervention saves more kids from abuse than it used to. I guess kids are safer if they can’t leave their yards. But I think some of our measures are overprotective. The truth is that a healthy upbringing in which kids face some risks is valuable. Probably so valuable that it’s better to lose some kids than to turn the rest into helpless basket cases.

Some kids have no common sense. Some kids are smart but make stupid mistakes. These things will always be true. Bad things will always happen.

Here’s a problem: now that we have all these safety policies, even if they’re overreactions, if your child has a very rare accident because you didn’t adhere to modern nanny standards, you will be considered a bad parent. Your spouse may agree. Society is destroying fathers’ ability to do a very important job: toughening kids up. It’s siding with destructive female neuroses.

Disempowering fathers and enabling neurotic women are almost always disastrous.

When I think of the terrible ways in which my parents failed me, I never think about not having a bike helmet. I think about my dad choking my mother. I remember my parents making no effort to teach me good habits or help me succeed. They didn’t teach me to do homework. They didn’t make me do chores. They didn’t show me how to defend myself. They taught me nothing about investing. My mother didn’t teach me proper hygiene. I was not introduced to the Holy Spirit, who is the only source of safety and success. The guns, skateboards, knives, fireworks…not issues.

What do we do about the house? Do we sell it? Do we seal off the upstairs, hoping there won’t be a fire? Do we put cameras up there?

The yard is both good and bad. It’s a world of adventure for kids. On the other hand, the grass in this area is thin and awful, so you wouldn’t want to lie down on it or do much of anything not involving being upright. It has a fence and gate, and that’s good for safety, but getting to other kids will be impossible without vehicles.

The workshop might as well have been designed intentionally to put kids in the hospital. Table saw, band saw, tractor, lawnmower, sharp things, pointy things, hammers, chemicals, torches…send them in there when you get tired of feeding them, and you might get lucky. I guess locks can solve the problem.

What about cars? My Explorer is turning out to be a lemon by design, and it’s a horror to work on. Ford designed it so stupidly it is likely to need thousands of dollars’ worth of repairs even if I take care of it, so I’m thinking of getting a Toyota 4Runner. But the 4Runner isn’t THE safest car on the road. What if my kids get in an accident, and I didn’t buy them THE safest car?

The guns can be locked in a storage room, and of course, the key will have to be hidden, and not in a place the kids will find it, unlike most things parents hide. Every dad who ever hid a dirty magazine, and every mother who ever hid a device or outfit from a dirty boutique, should be aware that their kids found them. It happens.

What are we supposed to do about schooling? DeSantis has done a lot to help, but Florida schools are still dominated by leftist morons and affirmative action cases. They didn’t disappear when he was elected. They are burrowing and hiding, waiting for him to leave.

They will still try to groom our kids and, yes, turn them into homosexuals and phony, mutilated “transgenders.” They will still teach them that socialism is a great idea. It worked out so well in Cuba and Cambodia. They will teach them that rebellion is brilliant and that their elders, with all their wisdom, are silly imbeciles. They will still see our children–God’s children–as theirs.

Some day, this blog post may be seen as proof my children should be taken from me.

Homeschooling is a must. That or private schooling. What are the odds we’ll be able to find a good private school that acknowledges the Holy Spirit?

The kids won’t be able to walk past our private road. They won’t be able to ride bikes much of anywhere. The geography won’t permit a lot of wandering.

What do we do about phones? Thanks to Disney, Florida is a pedophile’s dream, so they flock here. You can’t turn a kid loose without some means of calling for help. But if you give them smartphones, they send each other naked pictures and videos, and they watch adult pornography. If you give them cheap phones, the other kids torment them.

We can’t protect them from society, which is now extremely filthy. They have to live on this planet. It’s not like it used to be. By the time they get to high school, they will know about sodomy, VD, pornography, and seductive causes that give them excuses to cultivate sadism, bigotry, and arrogance.

What do we do about the Internet?

It’s like we’ll be raising children in a building with walls, floors, fixtures, and furnishings smeared with excrement from diseased people, hoping they won’t get sick.

With regard to the physical dangers, we’ll have to make decisions about risk and accept the consequences. That’s all we can do. We can’t raise kids, especially effeminate boys, who can’t do anything but cry and operate phones and tablets with their stick arms and muscular thumbs.

I told my wife to expect our children to get cut, scraped, burned, and bruised. It’s not preventable. They will get sick sometimes. They will get scars. We live in a cursed world. If you don’t want your kids to suffer, have yourself sterilized. If you don’t want to risk losing children, don’t have them in the first place.

God risks it, and loses, every day. He loses most of the people he creates.

I have been concerned that I might love my children so much I smother them and stunt them. It will be hard, handing a kid a new pocket knife or even letting him ride a bicycle in public. It will be hard to let him associate with other kids without me, knowing about bullying and peer pressure, which is the voice of the antichrist. I have to remind myself that human beings like me ruined the world and made it an unsafe place, and now we have to live in it without hiding from it.

Regarding the spiritual dangers–the temptation and corruption–we will just have to stay close to God and do what we know to do. After that, we have to accept what happens. Short of joining a cult and moving to an isolated compound, I see no way to raise kids in anything resembling an acceptable environment.

This world is a rotten place, and it’s our fault. It’s disgusting and dangerous. Not really fit to live in. It’s getting worse rapidly. I wish we had somewhere else to go. But it’s either have kids here or die childless.

I hate this world. Having children will make me hate it more.

God created the world so he could reproduce, and he expects people to have children. We will play the ball as it lies, and we will rely on God, thanking him and never blaming him.

You Can’t Stand Bad Company Forever

When I pray these days, I often complain to God about having to live in this world. I don’t blame him for anything. I just want someone to vent to. I keep telling him, “I hate this place.” I keep telling him he has been right about everything. The state of the world proves it over and over.

My life is excellent. I have health, prosperity, a wonderful wife, and a home pretty far from most of the vicious, demonized, leftist and Muslim nuts who are sincerely looking forward to a chance to kill every person like my wife and me. I enjoy life a great deal. I’m extremely grateful, because I know my blessings are extreme. But I will never feel at home here while demons rule the world. I always say it’s like I went to a Mexican resort for a luxury vacation and was not allowed to go home.

The Bible says Lot was in a similar situation. It says:

[B]ut he rescued Lot, a righteous man who was distressed by the debauchery of those unprincipled people; for the wicked deeds which that righteous man saw and heard, as he lived among them, tormented his righteous heart day after day.

I am not calling myself righteous, but I have some awareness of right and wrong. Enough to make the spectacle of the modern West revolting to me, every day. Enough to make me understand how much worse it will get.

Living on this earth is like living on a somewhat clean platform in the middle of a tank full of feces, urine, pus, menstrual fluid, dead bodies, rotten fish, and every kind of filth imaginable. The platform may be a big blessing, but you’re still in a bad place.

The other day I realized I should not say that I hate this place. The place is not the problem. A place can’t be good or bad. It’s the people.

I hated Miami because the people were rude and trashy. I could not wait to get out. What if the people were nice?

Miami has a magnificent bay and barrier islands. It has quick access to Gulf Stream fish. In a couple of hours, you can take a boat to the Bahamas. There is never any snow or ice. It’s sunny, and the sun improves people’s moods. It’s easy to grow fruit and ormamental plants there. Put the right people there, and it would be very nice.

What if you took all the Swiss and put them in Dade County, Florida, and you moved everyone in Dade to Switzerland?

Miami would be wonderful. People would get along. The economy would be fantastic. Crime would be almost nonexistent. The educational system would be tops. Switzerland, on the other hand, would be mostly ghetto, and everyone there would hate each other, because they hated each other where they came from. Crime would explode. The murder rate would skyrocket. Tourism would plummet.

God showed me this: I should not complain about a place. I should complain about the power and presence of the wicked. Where the wicked are few and weak, things are good. Where they are many and dominant, you end up with something like Somalia or San Francisco. Places where decent people are unhappy and persecuted, and the filthy are rewarded and promoted.

We hear a lot about genocide these days. From liars. Liars keep making the insane claim that Israel’s actions of self-defense are genocide.

Unlike Gazans, Israel and the Jews are truly threatened with genocide, and genocide is the openly-stated aim of their Muslim enemies. It’s not a conspiracy theory. It’s clearly true. The interesting thing is that genocide really is in the works from our side, but it will come from God, not his children or the Jews. God himself is going to clear the majority of those who hate Yeshua off the planet. He won’t send us out with ridiculous AR-15’s with skulls engraved on the magazine wells. He’ll do it personally, with the help of angels. He’ll also let the wicked kill each other off. He’ll even let animals kill them. That’s in the Revelation.

Eventually, God is going to decide he and his children have had enough of the presence and power of the wicked, and he will get rid of them and put the cleansed world back in our hands.

Genocide against the wicked is inevitable, because the mere presence of evil people and spirits is unsustainable for everyone else. It can’t be tolerated forever. Similarly, those who are against us are not looking for coexistence. They want us gone. Dead. Not just dead, but erased from history. Many religious Jews pronounce this curse on Yeshua: “May his name and memory be blotted out forever.” That came from Satan. Satan wants it for Yeshua and all those who are important to him. This is why Holocaust-deniers, and those who claim ancient Israel was not Jewish, exist.

It’s the people and the spirits. They ruin the world. When they’re gone, the world will be like a big petting zoo. Even animals will get along. Finally, the dream of leftists will be actualized: a vegetarian world. But they will be elsewhere.

I know what it is to have unbearable people removed from my life. My sister is the biggest example. It’s not enough to have peace with her. Having to interact with her is intolerable. The constant flow of lies, slanders, and emasculation can’t be tolerated. I can’t coexist with someone who pits everyone against me and tells lies to people who like me. She can’t be permitted to have a conversation with my wife. It would be like putting my wife on the phone with Hannibal Lecter.

My sister can’t be near me. I can’t have dealings with her. I’ve had enough. Having her in another state and not communicating with her are enormous blessings. She will probably die before I do, and I will not go to her funeral. She makes every interaction a source of persecution to me.

The children of Satan, on a large scale, are the same way. The worse and more numerous they get, the more they need to be gotten rid of. I understand why hell was created. There is no other solution.

Hell is full of beings who are against God, and even there, seeing where being hateful put them, they are still vile and sadistic. They could be trying to unite and make the best of it, but the fallen spirits torture dead human beings around the clock, for no constructive purpose. They literally make hell worse.

If there is a nice thing about hell, it’s this: there is no way for the dead to get here from there. The people who are there now will never, ever bother any of us again.

I keep praying for God to set his children aside in places where they are concentrated and dominant. I ask him to drive out the wicked and give their land and wealth to his children in these places. I ask him to keep the plagues of this time off these places. I say that if curses have to come, they should fall on places where he has been rejected openly, like New York City and Japan.

I want us to have some peace and comfort in places where we are improved and blessed while waiting to be extracted. Let the children of Satan torment each other, far away, if they have to be hateful. They can’t be saved, but maybe they can be kept away from us.

It’s Working

Here’s to traditional marriage. I think my wife will agree.

Today I decided to make a big step on making this property my own. Sometimes I’m intimidated because I can’t help thinking the original owners knew what they were doing when they made bad landscaping decisions. I am getting over that. Today I killed a magnolia and two bottlebrush trees.

It seems like I fix just about everything these days. My tractor’s poorly-situated steering cylinder started gushing oil, so I took it out, modified the frame (drilled and painted a big hole) to make it easier to remove next time, and took it to a hydraulic place for a rebuild. I would have rebuilt it myself, but there were problems identifying the parts. Now I have the numbers, because they were on the receipt.

I managed to bust the engine’s front cover while putting the cylinder back in, necessitating an expensive visit to the dealer, but at least I know how to deal with the cylinder in the future. And I painted up the new cover I bought, so it looks a lot better than the old one.

The house’s original owner had some horrible brush tines that were held on with chains and chunks of wood. I cut them in pieces and turned them into a quick-attach fork which is a thousand times as good. Welding, cutting, painting. Got it all done without help. No one else has a fork like this one. It’s fantastic.

I put a Pat’s quick attach set on my 3-point hitch, and it made it easy to switch attachments. Totally superior to the heavy, overpriced adaptors other people still, for unknown reasons, buy. I stuck a ballast box on the hitch, so now I have a compact ballast and a great brush fork to work together.

Today I went out and ripped my bottlebrush trees out because they were sick and planted two feet from my workshop. You never plant anything two feet from a building. Not even shrubs. The trees threatened to beat up the eaves during storms, and if they had been big trees, their roots would have threatened the foundation. They were in the way. Planting them was a bad choice. I pulled one out pretty easily with a chain and strap. The other one took more work, but now it’s on the burn pile. I plan to replace them with this: dirt. Or maybe two small shrubs with roots at least three feet out.

The magnolia was maybe 15 feet from the workshop and 10 feet from a water oak. It had to go. It had no future. It could have fallen on the shop. Every tree that poses a falling hazard is on the way out.

I am terrible at felling trees because I rarely have to do it. To gain practice, I tried to lean the magnolia away from the shop. When it started to move, I ran away like Sir Robin facing the Mad Chicken of Bristol, and the tree decided to stop falling. I decided brute force was the answer, as it so often is, so I chained it to the tractor and pulled it over.

I cut it in pieces and got rid of it, and now the cattle are snacking on magnolia leaves. I put glyphosate concentrate on the stumps.

When I came back in the house for breaks and to shower, my wife stared at me. I think she was starting to appreciate what I do around here. I was soaked in sweat. I had a mashed fingernail from a farm jack. I had a stick in my hair.

I had done maybe $1000 worth of work in around 3 hours. I base that on absurd quotes I’ve received for tree work. It was definitely work, but I enjoyed it. I have good tools, and my skills are adequate.

When I started taking off my work clothes, I was going to put them in the laundry room, but she told me to leave them where they were and let her know when I wanted food.

I showered, drew myself a Yard Boss Lager, put on my new glasses, sat in my new recliner, and relaxed.

My wife doesn’t know how to weld, cut metal, paint, fix chainsaws, cut trees, take a tractor apart, or operate tractor hydraulics. She can’t cut a tree. She has no idea who to call for a burn permit. She doesn’t know what one is. These things are not her problems. On the other hand, I don’t do laundry any more. I don’t wash dishes. I open drawers, and my ironed clothes are there. I open cupboards and see clean dishes.

It’s a pretty good system. God knew what he was doing when he designed it.

I got up yesterday, prayed, ate, dealt with a business lease for a rental property, fixed a cabinet door my wife had leaned on…I did all sorts of stuff. I can handle things that would leave metrosexual modern husbands in tears. I can drive a manual transmission. I can shoot, and it doesn’t bother me to kill cute animals that cause problems. I can make ammunition. I own taps and dies.

In return, my wife looks after wife stuff. She doesn’t compete with me and try to find an edge every day. She leaves the toilet seat up.

Satan has turned modern marriage into an endless competition. A series of selfish negotiations. It was never supposed to be like that. We were supposed to know and love our roles.

When you drive a car, the engine doesn’t decide it wants to be an air conditioner. The battery doesn’t decide it wants to be a transmission. The parts of a family should work together the same way.

Interestingly, in news related to old guys with rural properties, I have read that Tom Selleck is afraid he will have to sell his farm.

Tom Selleck must surely have a lot of money. He was in a very successful TV series 40 years ago, and he made a number of okay movies. He did a bunch of Hallmark movies. He has been in a CBS series for the last 14 years.

He lives on an avocado farm in Ventura County, California. Reports about the size of the farm vary, but it’s around 60 acres. He says he may have to sell if his series is cancelled, in order to have a good lifestyle until he dies.

How can that be true?

I looked it up. You can find the address on the web. He pays about $65,000 per year in property taxes. He may live another 15 years, so let’s say $1.5 million yet to pay, with numerical increases for inflation. Shouldn’t he be able to pay that?

His home is an avocado farm. Aren’t avocados expensive? Shouldn’t there be at least six figures of net income from that?

I decided to find out what John Travolta pays in my county. It’s about $27,000 per year. He has a smaller property, but on the other hand, the improvements are nuts. An incredible mansion that connects to a system of runways. He has carports with jets in them, at his house! One jet is a commercial airliner QANTAS used to own.

Travolta pays no state income tax, unless he has property in other states. He pays no county or city income tax. His property tax, during the same period during which Selleck will pay $1.5 million plus increases, will be about $400,000 with increases.

He can have all the guns he wants. He can keep an AK-47 in his car. If he shoots a criminal, our sheriff, Billy Woods, will probably take him to Dairy Queen.

He doesn’t have rolling blackouts. The power is always on.

I wonder what Tom Selleck is paying California, his county, and his municipality. And why is he there? He’s supposed to be conservative. My guess is that his wife won’t let him move. Or maybe he’s a RINO.

He could be in Tennessee or Florida right now. Or Idaho. Or Wyoming.

Zillow says his property is worth about $12 million, and Zillow is usually pretty accurate. Zillow thinks Travolta’s house is worth $3.5 million, which is very modest considering his wealth. The acreage is about a third of Selleck’s, which is still pretty good for a non-agricultural property.

If you don’t need runways, I guarantee you, you can get 60 acres here for what Travolta’s house is worth. With an agricultural exemption, your taxes will be around $16,000 per year.

You can have horses, cattle, goats, sheep, ostriches, emus, donkeys, or just about anything else you want. What you can’t have is California.

Selleck should not have a mortgage right now. Unless something is wrong, his home is paid for. He should be able to sell his ranch, pocket maybe $9,000,000 after capital gains, move to a better state, buy a better farm, and have well over $5,000,000 in additional retirement funds. He should have something saved up from his work. He should have the maximum Social Security benefit.

Maybe he just spends too much. When you’re 79, and you’re worried about your future, you ought to be able to rein in your spending and survive on a net worth of over $12 million. Even if all he has is a reverse mortgage, he should be able to fly business class to nice places every year and eat anything he wants.

If he moves in next door, I’ll be happy to help him and his wife find the best local barbecue.

Just not in the Way the Punks Want

I was reading the Bible and praying this morning, and I feel like I got a better understanding of how the Western world in 2024 resembles the disgusting cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis.

Yeshua visited Abraham, along with two other “men.” All three appeared as human beings. Abraham prepared meat for them, and they ate it, which is a good lesson for anyone who thinks God is a vegetarian opposed to all forms of killing. God himself ate veal with Abraham and two powerful cherubs, which are presumably the same cherubs depicted on the ark of the covenant.

Yeshua told Abraham he was going to look at Sodom and Gomorrah to see if the things he had been told were true. Realizing Yeshua intended to destroy these cities, and surely aware of the sexual perversion and cruelty that were going on, Abraham negotiated and got God to agree he would not destroy them if he found 10 righteous men there.

The cherubs went to Sodom, intending to stay in the street all night. Knowing what the San Franciscans and Hamasexuals of the time would do if they could, a horrified Lot begged them to stay in his home. Angels are said to be very beautiful, so they would have been irresistible to the homosexual rapists of Sodom.

The angels agreed, and Lot made them a feast. He served unleavened bread, showing that there wasn’t much time to prepare. This is a parallel to the story of the Passover, another instance of God saving his people by separating them from the incorrigibly wicked.

The homosexual rapists went to Lot’s house like a BLM mob and demanded that the angels be sent out to be raped. They expressly stated their intentions. Lot offered his two virgin daughters instead and begged the perverts to leave the angels alone. The homosexual rapists in the mob decided to treat Lot worse than the angels, and they tried to pull him outside. They showed no interest in normal sex, if rape can be called normal, with the females.

But for the angels, Lot would have been stripped naked and sodomized to death in front of his own house, with his household looking on.

The angels struck the homosexuals blind and told Lot to gather his family and let the angels take them out of the city.

Lot had at least 4 daughters. No sons were mentioned. He had at least two married daughters. Their husbands thought Lot was joking when he tried to get them to leave, so they were under some kind of supernatural spell. Lot left with his wife and two virgin daughters.

Lot’s wife disobeyed God and her husband and looked back during the trip, so she died and was turned into salt. She was destroyed by female rebellion.

It looks like God was willing to spare Sodom for one righteous person, Lot, instead of holding out for 10. Lot’s daughters got him drunk later and committed incest with him, so they probably were not considered righteous.

It may be that there were other righteous people in the group. Lot was wealthy, so he had servants, and his servants would have had families. Judaism and Christianity are patriarchal, and the Old Testament is full of figures who led big households and had servants. If there were other righteous people in the group, they are not mentioned. It is common for the Bible to mention patriarchs without mentioning all the people who lived and traveled with them.

Homosexuals like to say Sodom was not destroyed because of their perversion, but this is not true. The Bible says the sin of Sodom was selfishness, but in Jude, it also says Sodom was destroyed for sexual sin. Also, the New Testament says homosexual acts between men are worthy of death. See Romans. There were plenty of reasons to destroy Sodom.

The main conclusion is that evil societies have earned the death sentence, but God spares them total annihilation because righteous people live in them along with the wicked. This is why God hasn’t destroyed the world a second time yet.

Another conclusion is that God will rain destruction and agony on evil societies right away, once the people who belong to him are clear.

We now live in a world where sexual sin, including some of the most disgusting varieties, is endorsed by many huge nations. We generally haven’t committed to bestiality, incest, and child rape, but these things are getting more common, and “activists” are pushing to normalize them.

The nice thing about this deliverance story, which is a warning about the tribulation, is that it shows that destruction is not for everyone. You can avoid it if you are close to God. The tribulation can’t come while God’s children are still here.

I also read about “dignities.” Jude says God has it in for people who revile them.

Speaking of backward Christians like the prosperity preachers and homosexual clergy, Jude said:

Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

So what is a “dignity”? The Greek word is doxa, which is vague. It can mean something like glory or a glorious individual. A person imbued with God’s glory.

Some people say it refers to Satan and other fallen spirits, because Jude says:

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Some people say you can’t rebuke a foul spirit or speak evil of them. If that’s true, then you have to wonder why the Bible calls them impure and unclean. It also says we will cast them out, and it says we will tread on them.

To me, it appears that Jude was saying that if Michael was careful even when addressing the lowest of the low, human beings could cause themselves terrible trouble by speaking evil of people who speak for God.

Yeshua, John the Baptist, and the authors of the New Testament said terrible things about corrupt Jewish religious leaders, who were appointed by the Romans for money. They called them vipers and sons of hell, for example. They called them fools, comparing them to the retarded and the insane. They also used disparaging terms to describe sinners and people who didn’t listen. Clearly, then, “dignities” does not refer to all religious leaders or all people.

Based on my knowledge of the whole Bible, I believe Jude was criticizing punks in general. God hates punks. Christians love to say God loves everyone, but the Bible says otherwise. For example, it says he hates all workers of iniquity, and since he poured burning sulfur on the cities of the plain, it certainly looks like he hated the people who remained there after Lot left. I don’t think he loved them. Why would you pour burning sulfur on people you love?

In 2 Kings 2:23-24, God mutilated a bunch of children whose only known crime was making fun of Elisha, his anointed prophet. God, not Satan, brought two bears out to tear them open. In Deuteronomy 21, God told the Jews they could have worthless, rebellious children who ignored their parents executed by stoning, which really hurts and rips people’s heads open. God commanded the Jews to honor their parents, even though he did not say they had to love them, and the penalty was to live under curses, including premature death.

Punks have grandiose self-images which contrast starkly with their merits. They have no respect for people and spirits who are better than they are. They have no empathy. They take pleasure in sadism. They honor the vile, including spirits that hate God. They love to destroy. They persecute and steal from people who build. They can’t build anything for themselves. They reject the wisdom and commands of God and their betters. They love lying, and they punish and kill those who tell them the truth. They accuse better people of things they haven’t done, while denying their own egregious sins. They project their own evil onto people who are better than they are.

It sounds like God has it in for exactly the kind of people who are destroying and taking over America right now. We are inundated with punks who can’t receive correction. To make things worse, they pour out false correction.

God describes some people as worthless.

In the story of Naboth, Jezebel hires two worthless men to testify falsely against him. They said he had cursed God and King Ahab. Why did she do this? Ahab wanted Naboth’s vineyard, which Naboth had built, and Naboth did not want to sell. You can see how Jezebel resembles today’s leftist punks. Someone else built something and owned it, and she wanted it, so she made a lying accusation, destroyed the builder, and took what he built. Ahab got reparations.

The Bible uses the phrase “sons of Belial” to describe the false witnesses. Belial is a worthless spirit. His name means “worthless.” In the Bible, to be called the son of someone is to be said to be like him.

In the Old Testament, God calls the sons of Eli worthless. In Judges 19, God refers to the members of a Jewish homosexual rape mob in Gibeah as worthless, and later on, their tribe is wiped out.

“Belial” refers to Satan, who is, himself, worthless.

The Bible also uses the word “unprofitable” to describe worthless people. No matter what you do for them, they don’t change and become assets to the kingdom of God. In other words, they do not listen.

I have often said that God told me, “Hell is not full of ‘bad people.’ It’s full of people who don’t listen.” Hell is full of priests, rabbis, and popes who didn’t listen, but there are former rapists and murderers in heaven.

The children defiling our cities by testifying falsely against Jews, whites, men, Christians, conservatives, America, people who have assets, and everything and everyone else they can slander are children of Belial. They are making themselves worthless. The adults in government, the press, and the arts who support them are making themselves worthless. The world is filling up with worthless people who torment people who have humility and want to obey Yeshua.

The world is becoming unprofitable. God showed me that this is what precedes and motivates the rapture and the tribulation. God looks down, sees that traditional evangelism no longer produces a sufficient profit, notices that his people are being abused terribly without a good return on the investment, and pulls his children out. Then his fury pours out almost as it did on Sodom, except that he softens the blow enough to let some people live and change their minds.

Think of a grain of wheat. Most of it is worthless as food. The part that keeps you alive, and which has life in it, is in the interior. The husk is dead. This is why God compares worthless people to chaff. In tribulation, a tribulum crushes the husks of grain and removes them from the useful part, and then the husks are blown away and burned.

The kids in the tent camps are committing the sin Jude spoke of. They are reviling dignities. Their elders, Yahweh, people of good character, Christians, anyone who is anointed…everyone whose counsel can save them from hell.

Satan’s leftist and Islamist dupes now have cursed lives because they have done what the kids who made fun of Elisha did. In the supernatural realm, spirits are coming out to do the work of the bears. They won’t maul them, but they will do worse things. They will bring them things like poverty, addiction, criminal convictions, perversion, diseases, and the shortening of their lives, and the Islamists and kids who don’t repent will burn in the lake of fire forever.

Ironically, the people they abused will get reparations, and the world will be free, which is reminiscent of the slanderous chant about the river, the sea, and Palestine.

The Bible says Lot was vexed and oppressed in Sodom. Does that sound familiar? The chant kids and their allies vex decent people all day, every day. They get us fired from jobs. They ruin our businesses. They put their hands on us. They take over our schools. They dox and terrorize us. They demonize us. Because they have made themselves worthless by shutting their ears and praising themselves, there is nothing we can do to change them, so we sit at a distance and watch and wait for the end.

Of course they complain of genocide. They’re right in a way they don’t understand. God is going to commit genocide against them.

Israel is not genocidal, and the Jews didn’t steal land. The Jews begged the Arabs to stay in 1948, and other Arabs forced them to leave and to turn to actual genocide, which continues to this day. But God really is genocidal. He has done it before, and he will do it again. The punks falsely accuse their betters of genocide, and they deny the obvious antisemitic genocide they are calling for, and God himself will eventually do what they accuse Israel of doing. The punks will not be here for long.

It may sound strange to call God genocidal, but it’s obvious and undeniable. Read about the flood. Read about Sodom. Read Exodus. Read the Revelation. It shouldn’t be controversial.

We are not going to cleanse the world by buying rifles and ammunition. Cleansing the world is not our job, and we can’t do it anyway. God himself will do it. God told Yeshua to sit at his right hand while he made Yeshua’s enemies his footstool. He never told Yeshua to stand on his front porch and shoot people.

NPR Takes Much-Needed Step to End Journalism

This one blows my mind.

Everyone knows NPR is way WAY out on the left. The more conservative or religious you are–the fairer you are–the harder it is to listen. No fair-minded person can listen and fail to have the bias jump out at him, like an air horn in an orchestra. It is not reasonable to question the obvious fact that NPR is in the tank for the left.

I guess most conservatives are aware that a CURRENT editor at NPR, a well-regarded employee named Uri Berliner, just produced an essay decrying NPR’s unfairness. Notable fact presented in the essay: NPR has 87 editors, and precisely 0 are not leftists. That’s diversity in Bizarro World. I used to joke that “diversity” meant “getting rid of all the conservative white males,” but my joke has been destroyed in that it has become an objective description of reality.

Thank goodness for the flat Earth conspiracy theory. At least there is one conspiracy theory that won’t turn out to be true.

If you’re here, you have probably read his essay already, so there is no point in going over it line by line. You may also have read the bizarre, emotional, vengeful, punitive, objectively and demonstrably incorrect response written by NPR CEO Katherine Maher. Yes, she’s a woman. She had to be, because she’s white. They would never have hired a white male. Unless maybe he was gay. Or he wore dresses.

In an astonishing display of self-unawareness, in the safety of her bubble, Maher sent a message out to everyone at NPR, and instead of countering Berliner’s facts, she said:

Questioning whether our people are serving our mission with integrity, based on little more than the recognition of their identity, is profoundly disrespectful, hurtful, and demeaning.

Unbelievable! I thought I was used to the craziness now, but this is like a sharp slap in the face with a large, cold fish. I’m awake again!

1. “Disrespectful.” This means, “How dare you challenge our arrogance? You will pay. You will learn who you are and who I am on the corporate totem pole, little cis man.”

2. “Hurtful.” This means she is angry, not hurt. Someone rolled the rock over, and the biggest bug under the rock is mad because the sun hurt her eyes. Someone put foam sheets on the walls of the echo chamber. She is not “hurt” at all, and neither is anyone else. They’re just furious and ready to dispense payback.

3. “Demeaning.” This is a clumsy libel intended to put a truthful man on the defensive. It’s a deliberate lie intended to shift the blame to the innocent. It’s gaslighting. Berliner didn’t demean anyone. There are meme artists for that.

Based on the facts that he’s a leftist who got along fine with everyone at NPR for years, and that he was advanced to a high position there, Berliner is probably a jerk, but Maher’s attack on him is completely evil and dishonest, and it was intended to help NPR continue to harm conservatives and Christians, so in this instance, we should defend him.

People have a funny tendency to overembrace their enemies when their interests intersect. Right now, a lot of conservatives are saying John Fetterman is a great guy. No, he isn’t. He’s just a Jew who got mad because his pals on the left were assisting in the destruction of Israel. That doesn’t make him Trump cabinet material.

We have to learn to be non-binary. About some things.

I was disturbed by Maher’s insane, retributive message, but today I’m even more disturbed, because she has SUSPENDED HIM WITHOUT PAY.

How much more blatant can the discrimination be? What else do we need? Torches? Pitchforks? A guillotine? A pile of brush and a stake?

A woman in charge of one of the nation’s most prominent “journalism” organizations just SUSPENDED A MAN FOR DOING JOURNALISM.

That is literally his only crime.

He didn’t steal files. He didn’t catch people on hidden cameras. He didn’t lie to anyone. I’m sure he didn’t violate the terms of his employment, unless shilling for NPR no matter what is a term. Until this week, he was an admired employee in good standing. He has done absolutely nothing wrong. To the contrary, risking his job, his financial stability, and the loss of most of his friends, he has done exactly what journalists are required to do. He bravely exposed very damaging corruption at an organization which, as policy, defaults on its obligations of good faith. An organization which does the opposite of its purpose. They’re supposed to disseminate truth, and instead, they fight the truth every day.

Wow. The baseness of the human race could not be displayed more strikingly. It’s like we’re a reality show, and Joseph Heller writes the scripts.

The absurdity of this woman’s response can’t be heightened in any way. She left no room. She has literally punished a man for doing good journalism.

Let’s say he’s wrong. He’s not, but it doesn’t matter. A journalist does not punish another journalist for disagreeing with her. I just don’t have the energy to explain this obvious fact. Everyone knows it’s true.

We should burn the works of absurdist playwrights. Ionesco and Giraudoux, au revoir. Reality has left you in the dust. Every DC comic featuring Bizarro should be destroyed. Comparing Earth to Bizarro World is becoming like comparing Somalia to Switzerland.

Spirit-based delusion is everywhere. People can’t get this stupid without the help of demons. And what did Isaiah say?

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

“Woe” sounds quaint, but it’s not something you want. It means terrible suffering. Like the suffering that will come during the tribulation, which the liars and nuts are hastening with their willful dishonesty and cruelty. Woe means things like starving, dying in nuclear blasts, and watching your crops being completely destroyed. Sodom and Gomorrah experienced woe.

I would say this woman should be fired, but what good would it do? If we had killed Hitler, we would still have had Goering, Himmler, and Goebbels. If we had killed Saddam Hussein right away, we would still have had his sons. One person is not the problem. If we kill Kim Jong Un, we will still have to fight his sister, who is said to be worse. The problem is an Earth covered with a stinking soup of Yeshua-haters and truth-haters.

There are at least 86 people at NPR who can probably be trusted to continue doing what Maher is doing. The one who might resist is on suspension.

Not only is humanity getting nuttier; it is becoming immune to embarrassment about being nutty.

Man, I can’t wait for the rapture. I really hope I will be here during the millennium. To all of you who are still mired in blue states and cities, I have to tell you you’re making a mistake that will harm you and your children as long as you persist. You have forgotten what life among normal people is like, and while you may think you’re doing fine because you resist, you’re not.

During the millennium, the whole world will be a red state.

I guess we’ll have fewer guns, but on the other hand, why would we want them in a world ruled by King Yeshua and his obedient children?

Maybe he’ll let us keep Bass Pro. I love that place. When you step inside, it reminds you there are little isolated cysts full of sanity all over America.

I should buy a popcorn machine. Watching this corrupt phase of the world’s existence end without popcorn just feels wrong.

Baldwin Defenses Soon to be Tested

I am reading about Alec Baldwin, who is soon to be tried for manslaughter in the shooting death of Halyna Hutchins, whom he shot on a film set along with a hapless director.

I have written about this before. It seemed to me that he had no conceivable defense, and the defenses he was blathering on the web were more harmful than helpful. I guess his ego could not accept the notion that his lawyer might know more than he when he advised Baldwin to stay silent. I’m sure his lawyer gave him that advice, because only an idiot would not.

Baldwin had a firearm in his hand. Not a fake gun. A real revolver suitable for use as a self-defense weapon. The revolver had at least one real round of ammunition in it. Baldwin pointed the gun at two people, and the gun fired. Baldwin says 1) he never pulled the trigger, and 2) he relied on employees to make sure the gun was safe before he handled it.

Assertion 1 is a lie, so there is not much point in elaborating. The gun was designed so it could not be fired without pulling the trigger. This information is in the manual, which you can find online.

Assertion 2 is more complicated.

Baldwin is accused of negligent homicide. In legal terms, “negligence” means 1) you owed someone else a duty of care, and 2) you failed to exercise care.

To determine whether Baldwin owed his victims (he hit two people) a duty of care, you have to come up with a standard. What is the standard of care for a person holding a revolver?

You have to start with the standard of care every responsible gun owner knows. There are four rules.

1. Treat all guns as though they were loaded.

2. Always keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction.

3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.

4. Be sure of your target and what’s beyond it.

There are different versions of these rules, but they all mean the same things.

There is another rule: when you handle a gun, ALWAYS check to see if it’s loaded. Doesn’t matter if your best beer buddy swears he just checked it. You have to check for yourself.

Are there times when you can’t obey these rules? Maybe, if you’re an actor. Actors sometimes have to point props that look like guns at themselves or others. But these days, prop providers have all sorts of props that look exactly like guns on film, yet are obviously not guns in the minds of the people who hold them. There are prop guns that are made entirely of things like rubber and plastic. There are prop guns that have no moving parts.

There must have been many scenes in which actors have pointed clearly-fake props at people. On the other hand, it appears there have been many times when actors have pointed real guns at other people. I’ve seen scenes where actors pulled the triggers on revolvers that were aimed at other people, and the triggers, cylinders, and hammers moved.

Baldwin knew his gun was real, and he still pointed it at another actor. He said he would never do that, but obviously, he did, because if he hadn’t, he would have missed his victims.

Baldwin didn’t treat the gun as though it were loaded, he aimed at a person deliberately or carelessly, and he put his finger on the trigger when he didn’t intend to shoot anyone. He broke three of the basic safety rules. The fourth didn’t apply to him because he didn’t have a target. He didn’t intend to shoot.

What I wonder is whether he can be held responsible for breaking the other rule.

Ordinarily, you have to check to see if a gun is loaded as soon as you take possession. But would that have made sense for Baldwin? What if the gun were ordinarily loaded with dummy bullets that looked like the real thing? If that’s how it worked, maybe it would be unfair to expect Baldwin to check all over again. Maybe as an ignorant actor who knows little about guns, he isn’t qualified to decide whether a round is real or fake.

If that’s the case, then it would make sense to hold the armorer responsible for checking the gun.

So maybe it’s wrong to say Baldwin should have examined the gun before picking it up. Maybe it would have looked the same regardless of the type of ammunition it contained.

Still, though, he broke three of the other 4 rules. You only have to break one rule to be negligent. I’m sure Baldwin’s lawyers will try to make the jury forget that.

If he hadn’t put his finger on the trigger, he wouldn’t have fired. If he had treated the gun as though it had been loaded, he wouldn’t have fired. If he had pointed the gun in a safe direction, he wouldn’t have hit anyone.

His lawyers are going to attack a couple of ways.

They will say the gun could have fired without Baldwin pulling the trigger, and that the state can’t prove otherwise because the FBI damaged the gun while testing it. They will also say Baldwin’s standard of care should be the standard of care movies stars usually employ on movie sets. They’ll say the famous rules everyone else obeys don’t apply to actors because movies hire armorers to make sure guns are used safely.

The argument about the trigger is somewhat ridiculous. I don’t expect it to go anywhere. The gun’s parts still exist. The gun has been repaired. It should be possible to use the damaged parts to show that before they were damaged, the gun would only fire when the trigger was pulled. It will definitely work that way in the repaired state.

It’s an argument designed to appeal to dumb jurors and biased jurors. If Baldwin’s lawyers pick the right jury, maybe they’ll get somewhere, but it doesn’t look good.

As for claiming movie stars live by different rules, it’s a bad argument that should fail. The fact that you’re making a movie doesn’t mean you have the right to loosen good rules that save lives and which everyone else has to obey.

A real firearm on a movie set is just like a real firearm anywhere else. People on a movie set are just people. It may make sense to abandon the rule saying Baldwin had to check the gun, because it may have been impractical and an expert had been hired to do it for him, but the other four rules are personal to the shooter.

He still seems guilty to me. I see no way to raise reasonable doubt. His best hope is a stupid jury or a jury containing a few fans. He needs a jury like the one full of black women who refused to convict O.J. Simpson. Simpson could have set his ex-wife on fire at a nationally-televised press conference, and those emotional, racist women would have sent him home.

My best guess is that he’ll be convicted. He has refused a plea, and it has been withdrawn. Was that his idea, because he can’t believe the minor god Alec Baldwin could be convicted, or did it come from his lawyers? Do they reasonably think they can win? Are they bad lawyers who give bad advice? No way to know, but that plea may look really good to Baldwin in a few months.

The armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, was convicted by 7 women and 5 men after only three hours of deliberation. Not a good sign.

I’m assuming Baldwin gets tried on the merits. Guilty people get their cases dismissed all the time, based on government errors and malfeasance. If the state dropped the ball somewhere down the line, the facts and the law surrounding the shooting won’t matter.

Here I Am, Stuck in the Middle With Jesus

Teh crazy lies thickly upon us like a fog composed of atomized PCP.

The left is corrupt and insane. Far more corrupt and insane than the political right. But we are not helping ourselves by failing to acknowledge the nutwads among us.

Today I started reading an article about the unconstitutional ways Aunt Sam (don’t judge) surveils us these days, and the article said this:

Last August, an FBI squad gunned down Craig Robertson, a 75-year-old woodworker, for things he had allegedly posted online. The killing was reportedly under review by the FBI’s Inspection Division, but as of this writing there has been no investigation by Congress. As members may have noted, the FBI now operates along partisan lines.

Sounds bad. Like Ruby Ridge and Waco. I looked it up to learn more about the FBI’s egregious misdeeds.

Turns out this guy was as crazy as a tree full of coons. He was “they-worthy.”

He threatened to murder Joe Biden and Alvin Bragg, and he said he was headed for New York to carry out his plans for Bragg. He went to Truth Social and posted this:

Heading to New York to fulfill my dream of iradicating [sic] another of George Soros two-but [sic] political hach [sic] DAs. I’ll be waiting in the courthouse parking garage with my suppressed Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm to smoke a radical fool prosecutor that should never have been elected. I want to stand over Bragg and put a nice hole in his forehead with my 9mm and watch him twitch as a drop of blood oozes from the hole as his life ebbs away to hell!!

BYE, BYE, TO ANOTHER CORRUPT BASTARD!!!

The FBI got a warrant. They showed up at his house with lots of equipment, which was good for him, because the more protection they had, the more likely they were to be able to take him alive and get him the drugs or padded walls he needed.

He cursed the FBI and refused to come out. Shots rang out. They shot him. They tried to revive him. He died at the scene.

Where is the problem here? For once, the FBI did everything right.

This guy had no business owning guns. He needed to be confined. There was a need to figure out whether he needed psychiatric treatment or a prison cell. No doubt about it. The FBI had an obligation to throw a net over him, bring him in, and lock up his weapons.

He’s not much like the kids the bumbling idiot Janet Reno killed needlessly in Waco.

Conservatives choose too many of the wrong battles.

This all serves to illustrate a point: though God is indisputably conservative, conservatism is not holiness, and conservatives–even those who nominal or true Christians–are not immune to the delusions that come from the spirit of antichrist.

You can be a true Christian and not know the Holy Spirit. If that’s you, you are vulnerable to Satanic delusion. If you’re not praying in tongues, you’re not hearing from God, but you are hearing from people and spirits that lie all day. You have no help. You have no source of information strong enough to outweigh the garbage that goes into your head all day.

Robertson was a pagan. Specifically, he was a Mormon. Mormons are not Christians. They believe Jesus is God, but they don’t believe in salvation by faith, and they don’t know the Holy Spirit. They have all sorts of sick, demonic practices. For all we know, Robertson was communing with the white salamander or the demon Moroni or the ghost of George Romney. It wasn’t the Holy Spirit who told him to shoot an admittedly twisted, bigoted prosecutor.

When we start seeing armed battles between trannies, homosexuals, Antifers, and Muslims on one side, and Christian militia nuts on the other, it won’t be because God told the militia nuts to mobilize. It will be because Satan is commanding both sides.

The truth has gotten lost, and while the right has more of the remnants of the truth than the left, there is no shortage of nutty, dangerous conservatives who don’t know God.

But Vivek Ramaswamy is a topic for another day.
