Jackals Can’t Resist Palin Flesh

My take on the Down Syndrome/Family Guy/Sarah Palin ambush, as posted in comments at Sondra’s:

This shows why the word “retarded” needs to be preserved. Not all people with Down Syndrome are retarded. It looks like Andrea Friedman is one of the lucky ones.

That being said, Trig is probably not as fortunate, and if Ms. Friedman is not retarded, she is one of US, not one of THEM, Down Syndrome notwithstanding. If her intelligence is even close to normal, it’s not okay for her to make fun of mentally impaired people.

If she is impaired, then she does not have the capacity to understand the evil that was done in this episode, and it’s disgraceful that people who are not impaired would put her up to this.

Remember the Pat Robertson foot in mouth comment about God’s wrath in Haiti?

Now Bob Marshall, Virginia Delegate issued an apology about his comment insinuating that women who have previously aborted and now have down’s babies is a punishment from God. Nice! What about those who have never had an abortion and still have Down’s babies? Or those who conceive after many years? We know the answer, but I would like to know what you think about abortion, not only that you think it’s murder but the libs, Planned Parenthood, 40 days for Life and the Obama “babies are a punishment,” Pelosi being chastized by the Catholic Church (YAY!!!!) There I’m done.

Actually, I don’t recall Pat Robertson talking about God’s wrath, because that isn’t quite what he said.
    .
I am not in the least bit afraid to say God gets angry, or that he puts curses on people, or that those curses may fall on their kids. The Bible says all these things are true. He burned thousands of people alive. He drowned the Egyptian army, which was surely full of conscripts and slaves. He gave Naaman leprosy. He cursed Canaan, possibly for his father’s sin. He killed David’s young son. God personally killed Ananias and Sapphira in the New Testament. He caused Herod to be eaten by worms. God is always good, but if the Bible is true, he’s not always friendly.
    .
Whether you can say whether a particular problem is due to God’s wrath is another issue.

Well I wasn’t quoting the exact wording of Pat Robertson, I do believe as Christians we are called to judge, or stand up to unrighteousness in this world. I also believe God does curse, believing it and saying it are two different things. Nor do I believe in skirting around issues. Haitians as well as the rest of the world need God. Sins of the father visiting the 3 and 4th generation, is something I have seen in my own family, I have worked hard to break free from. And for the most part I have thanks to God. What I did want to talk about was not Bob Marshall (whose comment was also misconstrued by the liberal media just like Robertson’s) but the blood on our nation hands from abortion. Even in conservative circles we can’t bring it up in churches for fear of losing their 501c3 status or at conferences like CPAC (www.cpac.org) or we are labeled as emotional. But I think as a nation we are cursed because of abortion and will see more signs of it in the near future. Abortion is the American version of Haitian voodoo. Just to see images of mangled limbs of babies aborted should make the most liberal person come to grips with life but it doesn’t, they are blinded by Satan who relishes in human and children sacrifice.

If you haven’t seen Perry Stone’s latest edition of Manna-Fest, you might really enjoy it.
